Went well. Based on photos that I had sent to FJ Hooks beforehand, the plumber arrived well prepared with the replacement cylinder and tools required to stop the leak. The plumber arrived on time, was professional and personable, and cleaned up after himself. Great! Although it was clearly a slow leak, the company (thank you, Peggy) went out of its way to accommodate our schedule. The repairman came as scheduled, diagnosed the issue quickly, drained and excised the leaky pipe, and installed a new section of copper pipe to repair it. He was expert, pleasant, efficient, and got the job done for a fair price. Can't ask for more: terrific!

The experience was excellent. We had an outside spigot that was leaking and we called a pluming company and they said they would have to tear down our drywall. That was two years ago. So we called FJ Hooks recently and they came out and just change the washer. They saved us a lot of money and they fixed a 2 year problem in 10 minutes. The plumbers are paid on an hourly basis and they don’t let you do unnecessary work. The price was reasonable and they were not looking to overcharge you.

Initially when we called we thought we would need to replace the flush valves in all the toilets. Upon inspection by F.J. Hooks it was determined the flappers were the only parts that required replacing. It was great pleasure working with Rick as he did not attempt to sell us something we did not need. We previously had repairs done by F.J. Hooks in Jun 2014 and they also did great work. We would not hesitate to call F.J. Hooks in the future and recommend them to our neighbors.

Installers were courteous and neat, and appear to have done a great job. They also installed a new valve and pan under the hot water heater. I replaced a 75 gal. tank with a 50 gal., and they agreed it would meet our needs rather than trying to sell us the more expensive heater.

The FJ Hooks team was responsive and timely with their work, and we've been very pleased with the results; however, we did hit a few snags in the process: 1. We had pre-purchased a new vanity, sink, and faucet for them to install as part of the project. However, there was some debate after the crew was already midway through the installation as to whether the faucet we had purchased was compatible with the sink. It took an additional 3 trips to the store and an return visit by the FJ Hooks crew to get it sorted out. 2. During the course of their work to re-route our plumbing, while installing the new pipelines, they damaged the opposite side of the walls (shared with the next room) by puncturing several areas of the wall. FJ Hooks came back to fix the damages (they spackled and re-painted all the damaged areas) within several days, but we obviously would have preferred if the damage could have been avoided in the first place!

Replacement was done by Rick. He did a great job. Only issue is the inability to identify the cost up front. Was told only the office can handle the cost and I would be billed. I would expect the cost to repair would be discussed up front, but I needed the repair so I allowed the work to continue. I thought the cost was about $100 on the high side when the bill arrived. No breakout of parts vs labor.

It went great, Rick was on time and did the work quickly. For the broken pipe, he waited for the repair to dry and pressure tested it. It was to a hose bib we do not use often, and it apparently froze and cracked last winter. We also had a toilet that didnt flush properly,and we have tried everything I could find online to do with no avail. It turned out to be a simple cause and easy inexpensive fix. I really appreciated his honesty, as i was thinking the toilet needed to be pulled and maybe even replaced...something i was prepared to hear given my lack of success fixing it myself. The work has held up, The service was excellent, the price was fair, and I would definitely recommend FJ Hooks, and I will certainly be using them for any future plumbing needs.

We had 2 plumbers addressing the problem. Both were professional and friendly. They also left the areas they worked on spotless.

We had two spigots that didn't work properly. Rick was on time, professional, and blew threw the project in no time! I really appreciated how Rick gave me various options on the project, and options to consider in the future (like a full replace job). As a fairly new DIY-er, Rick walked me through what he was doing so I understood for future projects. While he was at my home, I asked him about a pipe in my kitchen (not on the original work list), and he calmed my nerves by explaining what was causing the clicking and how it was fairly common occurrence with our age of home. I look forward to hiring Rick again for our future plumbing needs!

Rick, the plumber, looked at everything and realized the problem was with circuit board which he could not fix. He called an electrician and they both came back to fix it but the manufacturer no longer makes the board. Rick really tried and was honest.
