F J Hooks Plumbing Inc

F.J. Hooks was one of the plumbers our remodeling company hired to upgrade our master bath. We found a leak in the basement which we thought might be from the renovation. F.J. Hooks came that afternoon, fixed the leak, and identified problems with our old copper pipes. We are currently waiting on an estimate for replacing the copper with cpvc.

Rick the plumber arrived on time. He quickly identified the problem and fixed the leak. He was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. The price was reasonable.

Company called they had a cancellation and came 2 days early. The plumber was polite and punctual. He located the the leak and made the most minimal cuts in dry as possible. He made the repair in record time. Cleaned up mess I was not there and had my daughter at the home. When I got the bill I was shocked by the low price. Low price and quality. I would use them again and again. Wish they were here in New Mexico where I live.

The plumber was pleasant, neat, courteous and patient in diagnosing the problem and explaining what needed to be done to correct same.

Courteous and polite. However, problem was not fixed -said it was too deep in the line to unclog - called in someone else - they fixed it.

Mr Hook (owner) came in the next day (morning)-Sec. said 1-3 PM., He came about 1 PM. Very pleasant, right to work, about 1/2 hours, cleaned up, beautifully he is perfect. This is second visit, same as first.

The plumber and assistant were an hour early and performed the replacement excellently. When I called to set up the appointment, the woman suggested that I should look on their website for a coupon they had, which I did and used. They finished their work within a couple of hours and cleaned everything up very thoroughly.

Company gave me quotes for two garbage disposals, answered all questions and came on time the same day to do the installation. Workmen were courteous, quick and left the area clean even though they had to cut a pipe.

Installers arrived onsite a few minutes late, sitting in my driveway about 20 minutes after the appointment time, but no big deal. They were very professional and friendly and took on the challenging task of moving the water lines in cramped quarters without any problems. I was impressed at the speed and professionalism they displayed in all of their work that morning. I was very nervous that once the plumbers showed up they might say the job was too difficult, or that they would have to really tear up large portions of the sub-flooring and ceiling to get access to the pipes. I was quite surprised that they worked within the small holes I had opened up in the floor and ceiling for them to get access to the pipes, and never said anything about how difficult the job may look. I failed to notify them that I needed to leave enough space between the water line and the wall for an electrical switch gang box. Once I noticed it they immediately stopped running one line and quickly made a modification to move it further in the wall, without any complaint. I had additional plumbing questions, and they were very helpful and friendly in answering all of my questions relating to my kitchen remodel and plumbing. Very good experience with FJ Hooks! I'm so relieved that they could move those two lines in cramped quarters, thus allowing me to open up the kitchen to the living room by another 3ft.

Work entailed re-plumbing both water and gas since the new water heater was 65 gallon, which was bigger than the old one. The job was done correctly and professionally.

I have great history with FJ Hooks and they are top notch. I wrote out what I wanted and they came and did it.

Start to finish the whole job was perfect. Braidy is wonderful to deal with and he really wanted to make sure that the job was done with the least amount of disruption to my shower. They could have easily decided to tear out the tile work and go in that way. But instead he took the time to research and assess the situation and came up with a much better approach. And, to me their price was quite reasonable. Needless to say, I was very, very pleased with their professionalism and workmanship. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again for any plumbing job I had.

Called at 10 AM - showed up at 11:30 done by - 1 PM great service.

When I called Thursday with a clogged kitchen sink, they squeezed me in to snake it out Thursday afternoon. Whey they told me Friday morning that the pipes were so bad they would need to be replaced, they squeezed me in Friday afternoon even though they already had a full schedule - so I had a working sink over the weekend. Their responsiveness, good work, and good relationship with my dog is why I've used them for over 20 years.
