They explained problems with our old water heater and installed a new one. They did a great job and modernized the setup with an overflow tank and new ductwork. Workmanship looks very good. Peggy was helpful and responsive on the phone as well.

I called needing work to be done right away because we had company coming for a funer and the shower only ran hot water. They asked me to take pictures and email them. So they knew what parts to bring knowing there was not much time, I did that and I think it was helpful. They arrived at the scheduled time, had all the parts they needed, worked consistently and everything was fixed. They even got along well with our dachsund who likes to bark.

They came in to look at the job, gave me an estimate and did exactly what they have to do. The plumber was very cordial and courteous. He asked me questions I had. They cleaned up well; there was no mess at all. Everything went smoothly. They explained it to me step by step. I will use them again for sure.

The phone call FJ Hooks started off well and the scheduler was very helpful and pleasant in getting as many details on the project up front as she could. She also let me know who would be coming to the house and what to expect. Because I could not tell her the exact make and model she was sure to let me know that it may be a two part repair. The plumber arrived a little early and we were more than happy with that. He was able to quickly identify the problem and what would be needed to fix it. It was an American Standard shower fixture and luckily he did have the correct part on hand in his truck so it was a one time fix that took a little more than 30 minutes. The plumber does not bill right away, but rather the office billed us a few days later. We were very happy with the price, especially since another plumber had quoted more than the $135 just to look at it.

This was a terrific experience after being ripped off by another local plumber in the past. Called to make an appointment and Peggy made it happen before Thanksgiving company arrived. She quoted me prices, billed me later, and actually charged me less than quoted. Jesus who arrived promptly was neat, courteous, knew what he was doing, and completed all of the work quickly and correctly. We had a great holiday because of their great work and great customer service.

Service call was for a leaking toilet tank. Water to the toilet had been shut off for several days to stop the dripping. Plumber turned the water back on but the toilet would not leak. He adjusted and tightened a couple of things and replaced one piece inside the tank which he thought might be bad and left. Several hours later, the tank had resumed leaking. I called back requesting a revisit. We decided that the 25-year old original toilet should be completely replaced. Total price of approx. $550 was agreed upon with no charge for the initial visit or parts. My daughter confirms the toilet has functioned flawlessly through the busy holiday season. Hook's was very easy to deal with. They arrived the day after my initial call. I will use them again when I need plumbing service.

Rick arrived before noon as pre-arranged. Very knowledgeable and efficient. Job complicated by leakage from old toilet and pipes and valve. He was able to overcome the problems and fix it in good humor.

They were on-time, went right to work and completed the job effectively. They cleaned up and sent me an invoice in the mail.

I thought I needed a whole new hose bib, but he had the washer for a 40-year old valve and saved money compared to what I expected. But cost for 45 minutes was to high.sssssssss

I woke up Sunday morning to our toilet continually running. Turned off the water supply and on Monday called Hooks. They were able to come out the next day and replaced the "guts". So, no more water running but I do need to get a new toilet as this one in on its last legs. They have recommended several brands and models and all reviews of their picks have been 5 star. As soon as we make the purchase they will be back for the install.

The team of 2 from Hook's arrived on time. They were neat and efficient in the whole hot water heater exchange. They answered all my questions in a polite manner. Provided me an estimate of new work needed.

We called him and he came the next day. He was very competent and professional. They sent me a written estimate within a week. We have not used him but we may. We are likely to use him. His price is reasonable.

They needed to cut ceiling and walls to get into the pipes which they did with care - just enough and not too much. They finished replacing all the cooper pipes in one day. As we prepared to take on replacing all the pipes in our home, I entertained 8 different quotes from 8 different plumbing companies. Only 4 companies followed up with a quote, and FJ Hooks was one of them. They responded in a timely and professional manner and though other plumbers seemed to focus on the complexity of the job at hand, FJ Hook seemed to take everything in stride and even found a creative way to keep from ripping up the floor, providing easier access in the future. The crew arrived on time and completed the job within a day. Leading up to the replacement, we had another emergency leak, which they kindly came and repaired a few days before replacing all the pipes and they didn't gouge us with pricing. We had several other requests, which they followed through with. We were relieved to find a company that took on our job with confidence and assurance, and undercut all the other bids that we had received for the job. Additionally, the cuts they made in our drywall were surprisingly minimal (to our untrained eyes) and that makes repair much easier.
