We needed the tree removed within a few days as it was several feet from a broken sewer and water line that required immediate replacement. After contacting Economy, Orvidio provided an estimate within 2 days. We received multiple estimates and his was the lowest. Orvidio agreed to have the work performed on Saturday since it was an emergency. The tree was removed in half a day and the stump was ground in the afternoon leaving a pile of mulch that we moved to our yard the next day. The workmen were efficient and professional. When the first stump grinder broke, he had a replacement on-site within 2 hours to finish the job. Strongly recommend - would definitely use them again.

They were wonderful. They were punctual, responsive and reliable. They answered all my questions.

I found them in Angie's list. I was very pleased with the evaluation. They were very professional and courteous. I am totally pleased with their services. The owner checked frequently and was on top of everything. Their price was $700 lesser than two other companies from Angie's list. They were prompt in evaluating. I felt comfortable working with them. They cleaned up very well after the work.

The process went very well. We actually had 2 other estimates done and Economy was by far the most reasonable. After we had the estimates done, we called Economy and scheduled the work. The only glitch was that they did not tell us ahead of time what equipment they needed to use, so our car was in their way when we were out of town. We could have accommodated them more easily if they had just asked us to keep our cars out of one part of the driveway in anticipation of the job. However, it turned out fine and our back yard is a lot safer now. the clean up was fine and we were overall very happy with the job.

I called the office who made arrangements for Orvidio to come out to see the work to be done and provide an estimate. He recommended removing the tree, I accepted the estimate and the work was done 5 days later. The workers were very professional, amazingly fast and left no mess at all. They also removed a couple of small trees in the yard and chopped them into firewood at no additional cost.

We had a very large tree with interior rot. After resistance testing by a specialized firm, we were informed that the tree was no longer structurally sound. Mr. Ovidio Baten came out and gave us a quote for the work; his estimate was lower by 10% and 25% than the other two companies we contacted. Throughout the planning process, Mrs. Baten provided almost-daily email updates on progress with the power company, cable company, etc. Because of the enclosed nature of our backyard (and the neighbor's), it was not possible to bring large equipment such a crane or cherry picker into the yards. As a result, a rigger had to climb the tree, cut the limbs, and then lower each one down by rope. The crew of four did an excellent job; they completely removed the tree in less than eight hours. They went to great lengths to avoid damaging the yards (not an easy task), and completely cleaned up all the debris. They were also polite and professional throughout the entire process, and even cut the limbs into 18" sections so our neighbor could use them for firewood. This is an excellent company -- we will definitely do business with them again if we need work on our trees.

There were about 4 workers. The owner, Ovidio Baten, kept in touch with them by cell and they discussed how and where to cut, and he dropped by in person several times. They worked very hard and efficiently.

I was impressed with the positive comments on Angie's List. I was pressed for time. They were able to get to the job quickly. They brought a large crew and worked quickly. They were nice and professional. The woman that I spoke with on the phone was efficient and helpful. I did not have time to shop around.

Very well. I called several companies on Angieslist for quotes, Economy was the first to respond and lowest price and explained everything well. I scheduled to have the tree cut, they came and cut it at the scheduled time.

We decided not to go with this, but they were very professional.

It went great. I used these guys 2 years ago, but because I had a lot of work lined up, I figured I would get more than one estimate. After checking Angie's list, I called and scheduled an estimate with another Tree Service. They were able to do an estimate earlier. They seemed good, but Economy Tree Service's estimate was better in two areas: 1) The price was better, 2) I was interested in trimming some dead branches from a maple tree, Ovidio noticed that the tree was diseased at the base and that I just get it taken down. The other company had not caught that. This was at the end of August. After hearing the estimate, they said they could probably get it done the 3rd or 4th week of September-on Sep. 10, they let me know that Sep 17 was available and they did it then. I was home, they did everything on Sep 17, except the stump grinding, which they did the next day. Ovidio was there to answer some questions. I'm very happy with the work they did, the price, and Ovidio's helpfulness and honesty.

This was one of several companies I called for an estimate for tree estimate. They were initially responsive and scheduled a time to come out and provide an estimate. However, at the last minute, they were not able to come to our house at the scheduled time. We were quite disappointed since we wanted to be able to choose from several tree service firms. They seemed to be either overbooked or disorganized, since we had scheduled our appointment a week or so in advance. I'm not sure that I would call them again.

Economy Tree Care was great. Angelica was very helpful on the phone. The company came by the house within 2 days of my call (I did not need to be at home) and provided an estimate. The price was good compared to others I called. Once I signed the contract (I was able to do it all by e-mail and fax which was great) Angelica set up the scheduled date and time and the work was done exactly when they said. They left the area looking very neat afterward. I will definitely use this company again the next time I need tree work done.

They were very prompt and they did a very good job. We certainly would recommend them to anyone else that needs their trees trimmed and fixed. We liked them. When the person came to get the estimate, he did exactly what my husband requested, they followed all of our instructions.

The crew arrived around 9AM and finished with the felling about 130PM; the chipper/shredder crew arrived around 2PM and finished around 430PM. Ovidio arrived around 3PM and supervised the wrapup. All debris was cleaned/removed. I'm 100% satisfied and they will be the first ones I call again when needed.

This is our second time working with Ovidio. Just like the first time, we were 100% pleased with all aspects of the work done. We have also recommended him to friends.

Economy Tree did a great job. They were one of three company's I searched on the list and responsive to providing an estimate. They were also very flexible and accommodating in adjusting the estimate to focus on just the Bradford Pear tree, not other trees I did not want trimmed. This resulted in a price reduction that made my decision to select Economy an easy one. Their price was the best of the three estimates received. Additionally, their customer service is first rate. Angelica in the company front office was very proactive in coordinating/communicating my requirements for trimming my neighbors tree back to the fence line. She used email to send me the contract, I signed it, scanned it into my PC, and emailed it back to her. As discussed, she indicated she would leave a voice mail on my phone the night before the company was scheduled to arrive to trim the tree. She not only did that, she also sent me an email the night before, and left a back-up phone message on my cell phone as well. The company came out exactly as I indicated a week later. They arrived early in the morning the day expected, and accomplished the job as I wanted, trimming the tree back to the fence line and removing the brush and wood. A great job done in a timely manner, at a reasonable price. I plan to use them again in the future to trim and elevate my front yard cherry tree.

The receptionist who answered my call was very friendly and responsive. She told me when I could expect someone to come by my house and perform an estimate for the work. Economy performed the estimate within the time frame, and they had the best price out of three estimates.They set a date and time to cut down one tree. Ovidio Baten came to my home personally and was right on time. He explained that his men would be at my house in about an hour, as soon as they finished their previous job. He offered to cut some other trees down for a good price, so I asked him to cut down a total of two trees, and remove a small stump. His crew arrived when he said they would. They were efficient and friendly and I was satisfied with the job they did and the price they charged. I would definitely use them again.

Ovidio worked cooperatively and promptly with me to add and delete items from his original estimate, and to schedule the work within two days. On the day of the work, Ovidio and his crew arrived somewhat delayed but worked efficiently to complete the work on the day promised. They worked carefully, asking for my preferences, and had an excellent sense of what would be best for the trees. Their clean-up was thorough and excellent. They even chipped up some pine branches I had cut up after a previous ice storm. Overall, this firm is quite professional and responsive. I plan to engage this firm to do additional work this year.

Economy Tree Care did a great job. The work was performed on time, at the price quoted, and they cleaned-up everything at the end.

Ovidio, Angelica and their team are exceptional, and we believe they have provided us with the best customer service of any company we've used in the 5 years we've been here. Ovidio has expert knowledge of trees and provided us with useful landscaping advice. He and his crew were always on time and he and Angelica were very responsive if we called with questions. They are dependable, conscientious, professional, and let us know exactly what to expect from their work. Additionally, they have very reasonable rates; in fact, they beat all three of the other estimates we got by $1000-$2000. We were delighted to find Economy Tree Care and we won't use any other tree service company but them from now on.

Overall, they were 1/2 the price of everyone else. I was very happy with their work. The owner is very nice and friendly, no pressure at all. I like the small company feeling of him.

Economy Tree Care was able to get an estimator to my house within 2 days of my phone call. It look a few weeks to get the work scheduled once I contacted them to begin work but everything went great. Good communication and very customer service oriented. Couldn't even tell they had been there other than the trees that had been trimmed.

The workers spent all day on the job. Their work was very good and the cleanup was excellent. Plus the price was less than two other tree services I checked with - and half the price of one company also posted on Angie's List.
