Description of Work: They were exceptionally friendly and responsive. They had flooding in their own back yard and had some of their own equipment underwater. They had to clean up their own equipment and work on getting their flood damage cleaned up.

Description of Work: Economy Tree Care is extremely thorough and conciencious with tree trimming and the removel of storm damaged trees. They provide an estimate and make sure your schedule will coincide when their crew comes to take care of the dead tree, or trim the trees and shrubs. If the tree should be trimmed later in the season, Economy's knowledge of trees and shrubs, provide their customer's with the best time to trim the trees and shrubs. When all other neighborhood trees split during recent storms my bradford pears weathered the storms without any damage. Economy's trimming of my bradford pear trees has saved these trees from splitting and extended the life of these beautiful trees.

Description of Work: This was the latest of 3 times I have used Economy Tree Care for tree work on my property, though this was the largest job I have had them do. This work involved removal of two fairly large trees, grinding/mulching one of the stumps, and trimming another, small tree.

Description of Work: I had several trees blow down. They came out quickly, gave me a quote,. The removed the trees quickly and picked up all the debris. I have used them before and will use them again.

Description of Work: Economy Tree Care cut down two trees damaged by snow (one small tree, one medium sizes), cut the usable wood into firewood lengths, and chopped up and disposed of a lot of brush from the downed trees and from other brush I had collected over the winter.

Description of Work: Economy Tree Care, Inc. took down three very tall wild cherry trees. I asked them to leave the wood in fireplace length chunks, which they did, piling it neatly where designated.

Description of Work: I got an estimate on 2 trees. One was on my property and leaning towards a neighbors' house behind mine and one was a branch on a neighbors house that was hanging by a thread over my driveway. They gave me a qoute for each ~1300 for the one in the front and 750 for the one in the driveway. I thought that either the power company might cut the branch over the driveway since it was over a power line or my neigbor might take responsibility for her tree and take care of it so I asked them to just cut the tree in the back. There is an angie's list coupon for 100 off any job over 1000. At first they completely refused to take the coupon since I was only doing 1 of the 2 jobs (which is BS because the coupon is based on the price and has nothing to do with the jobs done). Then I told them I wasn't going to use them on principle. So they said they would give me 50 off. I said if they did that I would right a negative review of them on Angie's list telling everyone that they wouldn't even honor their own coupons. The lady said she didn't care. So I went ahead and hired them since I didn't want this tree to crush my neighbors house. They came out and did a good job cutting the tree. But I was p***** off about the coupon and also about the fact that I didn't feel like it was made clear to me that there was an extra 200 fee for taking away wood from the stump since I had asked her to give me a fee for removing the wood in my initial quote when I compared their cost against that of another contractor. Apparently there is one fee for taking away the wood, and another 200 fee for taking away the mulch (in addition to the fee for turning the stump into mulch).

Description of Work: Economy Tree Care did extensive stump removal. They did some specialized tree pruning, too. They got into the interior structure of the tree.

Description of Work: Trim back off my right side house fence line, three neighbors trees (On very large Bradford Pear, One smaller Chinese Cherry bloosom tree, clean up all tree debis from the yard/adjouning areas schredding all debis on site. Neighbor next door and I coordiinated week's earlier and they paid half of the $ 275.00 total price as they are very concientious to the fact that they planted those trees to close to my house in a neighborhood of close lined houses- these are great neighbors.

Description of Work: After a brief but severe storm on7/25/2010, Economy Tree Care was on our street taking care of old customers. Our yard has a number of branches from neighbors trees. These we removed quickly and professionally. I have used this company for over 10 years and have always had great service.

Description of Work: Cut down a 20 ft leland cyprus, and a small diseased tree of about the same height. Did stump grinding on both of them. Pruned and shaped a large holly tree that suffered from winter damage.
