Ovidio came out and gave us very good guidance on what should and should not be done, then followed through and did an excellent job of everything. They are thorough, take care of the yard plantings, and clean up completely behind themselves. This is the second year we have used them and have been very happy with them both times.

Never showed up to provide an estimate, never called.

They examined the trees and gave suggestions after trimming each one, depending on type, hardiness and growth pattern. They came out and did the trimming, and removed all the debris. I came home from work, and the yard was clean and the trees were trimmed.

We received an estimate in the spring for the work. The process was fast and everyone was very helpful with questions. We were advised to have the trimming done in the fall. He traded emails the first week of October so we knew they were coming. Angelica is fantastic! She is very responsive and is always friendly. All questions were explained well. The day of the trim I received a phone call because I had asked them to look at a part of the tree that was destroying our fence. We discussed the issue and they proceeded. I had some concerns when I saw the tree, it required a dramatic cut back. I emailed Angelica regarding my concerns. Ovidio called me within a day to discuss my concerns. He took his time to explain how they had to trim and what I can expect in the spring. He told me if I had any other concerns to contact them again. They are very professional.

I coordinated the work for myself and my neighbors. I solicited quotes from three companies, all of which were well recommended by Angie's List or neighbors, and had scored well on price criteria. This company gave us the best deal, and proved easy to deal with. All of us are very pleased with the work. I am especially happy with the job the company did removing a Bradford tree stump and several large roots with many sprouts in an area where my Verizon, electricity, and gas lines converged. The company warned me they might not be able to get everything out, but would do their best. They got almost everything out, even though it meant using manual tools to follow up the work done by the major machine. I will use this company again.

They are knowledgeable have the equipment to do the work. The crew was polite and did a good job cleaning up. They proved to be reliable and provided a good service at an excellent price.

I have used Ecomomy Tree Care for six years or so and am very pleased with them. This job was for a beautiful tree between our house and the neighbor's, in a rather tight spot. I had been resisting its removal for several years, but last fall Economy Tree Care discovered it was dying from the inside out. It was a disaster waiting to happen. They were here from 8 AM to 5:30 PM, with a crew of 5 or 6 men that was how huge the tree was. Everything was cleaned to perfection and their price was phenomenal! I, of course, would highly recommend them.

Excellent work! They contacted me very soon after I called and left a message - they came by and left an estimate - once I accepted their estimate (cheapest one I received!) I set up an appointment time for approx 10 days later for them to come and do the work. They had to take great care with the cherry as there were very mature and expensive shrubs beneath that I did not want damaged. Excellent job by very nice, responsive, and knowledgeable people!

Excellent. They were prompt and the team of four finished the job in approximately five hours. The tree spreads over several neighbors homes and the team was very careful about bringing down limbs. Ovidio supervised the work personally.

Ovidio came out promptly to develop the quote. The quote was delivered promptly the next day and was very reasonable. The work was scheduled and everything was completed as promised. They followed up to make sure we were satisfied. Having dealt with other tree firms, Economy Tree was great; they were reasonable and honest (no pressure) and extremely focused on customer satisfaction.

After playing phone tag for a couple of days we set up a date for an estimate. Ovidio came to the house as scheduled, surveyed the project, and gave me an estimate on the spot. Based on estimates from other companies, I thought his price was fair. We shook hands on the deal and agreed on the approximate dates on which the work would take place. I received a call the day before the crew was coming to the house to ensure that all was OK. They came at the appointed hour, climbed up into the trees with their ropes and saws and other tools. Very dangerous work. They cut off huge deadwood branches and lowered theme to the ground without harming structures and plants below. They did a beautiful job on the dogwood, lowering its crown by at least four feet and thinning and trimming it to preserve its attractive shape. They cleaned up nicely after themselves. All in all it was a very good experience.

This is an exceptional company: every person on the job is extremely polite, prompt,and professional. The company does excellent work at a very reasonable price. After arriving on time, Ovidio Baten and his crew began working and did not stop for almost three hours in intense heat until the job had been completed. When they finished pruning and treating the Holly tree, they completely disposed of the large debris, both from our yard and our neighbor's, and then carefully cleaned up the fallen leaves.

Ovidio's crew was very careful about avoiding damage to the existing bushes (e.g., azaleas, mountain laurels) and cleaned up everything. His estimate was the least expensive of the 5 estimates I obtained for the same work (about half the cost of the most expensive estimate). The neighbors were so impressed that the 5 or so houses immediately around us signed him up for their work!

They came when they were scheduled for the estimate and the job. They did a great job cleaning up as well. We also appreciated their flexibility. There were a few things more that we wanted done, which we were charged for, but often companies are not flexible and don't make the time to come back out. Lastly, they charged a very good price for the job.

These folks care about doing a good, professional job. Promptly provided an estimate in writing when asked. Showed up on time, courteous, professional, and careful of our property. Owner returned to check work when finished and had a few additional things to touch up. Overall we were very pleased. The only thing we'd improve on is the amount of time between us sending them a deposit and a contract, and the work getting scheduled. But, not a big deal in the scheme of things.

They were very prompt with the estimate and, after getting two more estimates, were selected to do the job. They were 1 1/2 hours late on the date agreed upon & I called to make sure, they were still coming, since there had been some rain in the night. I had been told that if it was raining, they would not come. Ovidio, was here when the work began, but left. I tried to stop the tree cutting, when I noticed the worker in the tree was letting large parts of the tree crown free-fall to the ground, breaking smaller trees in their path. Finally we got his attention & I asked to speak with Ovidio. I told him on the phone of the destruction & the need to control-drop the big branches. The worker then used a rope system to cut the rest of the crown branches, but the large trunk pieces continued to free fall. When Ovidio returned, I pointed out the damaged trees & the places where the workers, did not remove the limbs requested. I'm glad I was home to minimize loss & ensure contract fulfilled.

They did a great job. Explained what needed to be done and why. Showed up when they said they would. Cleaned up perfectly. Trees looked great! They also did a great job of following with me after the estimate, setting up the time to come out, etc.

Excellent. The owner was on the scene to direct the team. They showed up right on time and the clean up was exceptional.

I was happy with the work that was performed. They left no debris at all in the back yard. They also, called during the job and said they would remove a very small dead tree in the backyard, for no extra cost. I'm sure it wasn't too much trouble for them to remove this small tree, but it was still very nice of them to call and offer to do this, since they clearly did not have to.

They responded very quickly to our request, with a team of 3 arriving less than 24 hours after my initial call. The work went surprisingly quickly, and they cleaned up very well afterwords. Their quote was higher than I had expected, considering their prices for comparable work described by other reports on Angie's list, but we had an emergency situation.

The work was performed very well and in accordance with the contract. The trees were nicely trimmed and the the stumps of the two trees that were removed were cut very low to the ground. The clean-up was excellent with no sticks or limbs left in the yard. Unfortunately, scheduling the work once the contract was signed was a bit difficult. We did not hear from the company for two weeks after the contract was signed. It took two phone calls to nail down a date for the work to be done. Aside from scheduling difficulties, the work was very satisfactory.

Economy Tree Care was top notch from the beginning. The person answering the phone was prompt and professional. When I returned home later in the day they were finishing up and were blowing all the sawdust in a very neat pile. I would not hesitate to hire them again and the price was excellent.

They did an excellent job. Angelica and Ovideo were very good about keeping us informed when weather conditions delayed work. Ovideo was very professional and did above and beyond what he said he would do. We had a squirrel problem, due to limbs providing access to roof of our house and Ovideo made sure I was satisfied with their trimming/cutting of those limbs. It was amazing to watch these professionals at work. My neighbors also used them and was very impressed with their work as well. Besides a great job trimming/ cutting of the trees, they did an excellent job cleaning up. Except for the fact that our trees looked great, you could not tell they had been there! Ovideo also took the time to explain the importance of trimming properly, as opposed to just cutting limbs off, it really makes a difference in how great the trees look after the work is performed! Great JOB Economy Tree Care !!!

Instead of just chopping the trees, they trimmed them very nicely. Well done. The price was very good. The price also included disposal of debris. Very friendly and helpful.

Angelica, the woman who answered the phone, was very nice and accurate when setting up the estimate and in setting up the job. They came on time and were by pleasant and professional. As a protection to the windows, they put a plastic tarp to shield the windows when the stump was being ground.
