Description of Work: Great service. They provided a range of options on carpet and padding, explaining the differences without any pressure sales. Carpet was installed on schedule without any issues. The install team did a great job installing and did a very thorough cleanup. I would recommend and use them again.

Description of Work: simply fabulous service! New carpeting was needed due to damage from a burst water pipe and Clawes could not have been more helpful! Roy (a treasure) arrived promptly, was friendly, helpful and courteous, recommended an excellent carpet and managed the installation - all within a 10 day period, as our basement was drying and being painted. Installation went smoothly and was done in the most professional manner. Everything came together perfectly and we could not be more pleased.

Description of Work: I asked Clawes to look at a carpet problem I had (unraveling of a berber-type carpet). They showed up on time, and after looking at the problem suggested I try to do the repair myself as the cost involved would be high and the likelihood of a good outcome low (difficult to match the existing carpet color (3 yrs old) with any segment of new carpet. I appreciated the serviceman's forthrightness and suggestion about how to do the repair myself. When I do need new carpeting, I'll be calling Clawes!

Description of Work: Installed carpet on two stairways, complete second level of house and part of basement. These people are very professional. These sales people were honest, friendly and really knew what they were talking about. They recommended a cheaper carpet than we had selected based on how the carpet was to be used. Installation folks were on-time and very fast. Everything was done correctly, quickly and with very little waste. These are now my carpet guys.

Description of Work: The salesman pretended that he was giving me a bargain, but he wasn't. The people who laid the carpet were good for the most part, but too quick to take apart stereo equipment and caused me to have to call in The Geek Squad to get my sound system to run correctly again.

Description of Work: They replaced most of the carpeting in our townhouse. Clawes was responsive and prompt. The quality of the carpet was good for the price. There were a couple of little nicks and scratches to the house from their work, but these were minor.

Description of Work: Roy and his crew did a great job re carpeting the stairs and putting Armstrong premium vinyl down in our basement. Knowing we were first-time homeowners, Roy offered us a great price, and worked with us to get installation scheduled prior to a preplanned family visit. The installers themselves were professional, friendly, and careful with our pets.

Description of Work: I would highly recommend this company. All of the people involved are very professional. I also like that the price is all inclusive. You don't have one price for the carpeting, one price for the pad, and one price for the installation. It makes budgeting much easier. I had one problem and the owner promptly came out and made sure it was taken care of promptly.

Description of Work: Clawes did a great job. I had 2 flights of steps when first entering the town home with an off white wool carpet they had to go over to get to the main level where they replaced all the flooring with hardwoods. One of my thoughts was I hope this carpet is not beat up during the hardwood installation. I really appreciated thier care in not doing so and the fact there was no wear and tear on the paint or floorboards. The floors look good and I would call Clawes first for any future work.

Theresa at Clawes was extremely helpful in providing advice and was a pleasure to deal with.
