Circle Glass

Circle Glass did a good job. They were punctual and that kind of thing. The work was good. We took two vanities to their place of business; I think one we had to send out and the other one they did there. My husband dealt with them.

They did a good job. They were on time. They left the place clean. They did what they were supposed to do. It was a good experience. They were there when they said they would be. Price was good. They were professional.

Finding a company to replace this window proved more difficult than I expected. The company that installed the conservatory went out of business and a local conservatory company and several glass repair companies said they would not undertake the repairs on classic conservatories- apparently in expectation of poor quality window frames. At first, Circle Glass seemed also to turn down the job, but reconsidered and said they would come out and take a look. The estimator and later installer (Steve) examined the window, determined the window construction and engineering was of good quality and could easily be repaired. He expertly disassembled the front pane to take accurate measurements and determined the low-e nature of the glass. He ordered the glass and a couple of weeks later (I was out of town), he expertly replaced it. In a room comprised of windows, the replacement window appears undistinguishable from the other windows in light transmission and transparency and color. Couldn't be more pleased. Appreciate the fact that Circle Glass made an exception to its policy of not accepting this type of work and decided to come out and take a look at the job- got a fine result. Particularly pleased with Steve's expertise and professionalism. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Also used Circle Glass to replace a broken double pane casement window in a rental property. The work done and price paid was equally satisfactory. .

Circle Glass sent two installers out to mount special mirrors on the doors of the closets. They arrived on time, did a beautiful job at the price previously stated, and completed the task in about an hour. They provided our requested metal frames and took considerable care to ensure that the mount was square and the frame was properly set. We are extremely pleased with the service and will use them on our next project, the bathroom, as soon as we get to it. I recommend them to anyone interested in quality work and craftsmanship.

The glass in one side of a sliding door just shattered, no idea why. Based on our measurement Circle glass was the lower of 2 Angie's list bids assuming they could use a standard size (which they could). They showed up on time and had the job done quickly. They were carful with cleaning up the shattered glass and cleaned up when they were done. Overall they did what they said they would do quickly and efficiently. I gave then the Angier's list 10% off at the end, they said I should have said I was using this in the beginning, but took the discount off after getting permission fro their office.

I saw Circle Glass on Angies List and initially worked with them on a glass top for our dining room table which came out very nice. Based on that positive encountered I asked them to look at my sliding glass doors which had bled between the glass layers caused by the failure of the film used to block out harmful sun rays. Circle Glass said they routinely did this type of glass replacement work. I knew replacing all the glass was a chore but far less expensive than replacing the doors entirely. Circle Glass took measurements and provided a price which was very favorable. After placing the order I received a call from Brad at Circle Glass stating that during their internal quality control check that the numbers on the estimator's sheet and the order sheet were just not adding up. Working with him we discovered the error which I felt was an honest mistake resulting in my final cost to almost double. Because the error was found before the glass was ordered as part of their QC effort, Brad instantly gave me the option of cancelling the order to allow me to look at other options. Being in the construction management business I knew that these things happen and was impresssed by the fact it was caught by the company's internal checks before the order was placed as it should have been. Instead of cancelling the order I told them to proceed as it was exactly the type of detailed company I wanted to work with. Brad did work with me a bit on price to compensate for the error. Mike and his very able assistant showed up on Friday afternoon and replaced all the glass in a very efficient and methodical manner. I might add that I live in a multi-story townhouse which resulted in the old/new glass being carried up stairs and around the back of a long row of townhouses. Not a word of complaint or lack of effort during the whole installation. I am very please to have found Circle Glass and highly recommend them to all Angie's members.

The first installation did not go well. The main piece of glass was was millimeters too big and had to be re-cut. Circle does not cut this glass in house, so it was not their fault. They rushed the glass order and it was ready again in a week. When I called to re-schedule the customer service rep told me that the earliest he could do it was another two weeks. This upset me, I emailed the owner and he had a crew out in the next day or so. The install went well and I was finally able to use my shower. When they installed the door, the techs noticed flaws in the glass. They continued the installation so that I could use the shower and ordered a new door. Now the installation looks great, and the techs were really helpful and friendly. The only down side is the long wait times for installation because they are so busy.

The door was custom made to fit our walk in shower. Also, the door has ShowerGuard, (product made into the glass to help prevent water spots). The door and surrounding glass is exacting what we needed.

All went well, and they did it for half the price I was quoted by another Angie's List member.

Circle provided the best price and did a fine job with installation. Caulking was not as tidy as could have been but this is a small matter. All else is very good. Would recommend them and would use again.

I used Circle Glass to install a large mirror on the wall of a bedroom. They came out to measure first. They came back another day to install. They were on time and very professional. They cleaned the mirror after installation. Price was very good for a mirror this size (about 36" x 80"). I will use them again for another job.

We have used this company 3 or 4 times in the past due to the fact that they are one of the only providers of the window that was installed in this house when it was built in 2003. Several of the windows in this wall have "failed" in the past 5 years and have had to be replaced. In the past, there have been no issues with this company. For this replacement, we had them come out the first time at the beginning of March to measure the window. They came a week later for more measurements...and then had to come two weeks later because they realized they needed an actual sketch of the window. From first phone call to installation took almost two months... During the "sketching" the one worker dropped a heavy tape measure from 15 feet onto our hard wood floor below and did not say anything, until I told him I had seen it happen, and he said that it slipped and he was sorry. While it did not create a major dent in the floor, it still caused damage for which he never said they would take care of for us. However, the thing that caused the most frustration was after completion (remember this window is 15 feet from the ground) they did not clean it....there are fingerprints all over it and a large circular spot from where they put the suction cup that are completely visible. It looks absolutely horrible when the sun is on it. You would think a vendor would clean a window after installation...but these guys just left it. Overall, poor customer service and I will not use them again. The only positive was that I received $50 off the window because of Angie's List!

Whole process was amazing and simple! Took a mirror to them to have it cut (mirror was 40"x71" and we needed it cut to 40"x 68") and they cut it while we waited.

Mike gave both the estimate and installed the new window panes. He arrived on time, was professional, neat, and completed the job to our satisfaction. They replaced the panes so perfectly I can't even tell that they are new or different from the original and touch up required was minimal (and way less than I was expecting). Very honest guy and great attitude! Would definitely hire Circle Glass again.

I called around to 4-5 different glass places and found Circle Glass to be the most competitive in pricing. Also, I read their reviews online and they were good. So I decided to hire Circle Glass. The crew came out to measure the shower area and within a couple of weeks, they had everything back from the manufacturer to be able to do the install. Unfortunately, the glass manfacturer cut one of the panels incorrectly so the crew had to go back and reorder the panel. This was strictly the manufacturer's error, as the drawing and specs that Circle Glass had were correct. The 2nd time around, the panel itself was cut correctly but the notches for the mounting hardware was cut incorrectly. Ugh...another manufacturer error. So finally after another couple of weeks, everything was corrected and the crew came out and did a great job installing everything...third time was the charm. After the first installation, we were still able to use the shower so the amount of hassle wasn't extreme. Circle Glass folks were professional and apologetic and gave me a 10% discount as well. Overall, the job was done well even with the intermediate obstacles. I would recommend them to anyone needing this sort of service.

I needed two different thicknesses of glass (7 pieces) cut and measured exactly to fit in the doors and as shelves in a cabinet being made. The glass was cut and ready to pick up within less than three days and fit perfectly. Everyone I dealt with at Circle Glass made my experience more pleasant. The pieces of glass were even wrapped for ease and safety in moving them from my vehicle into my home. I would contact Circle Glass for any other glass projects in the future.

I also inquired about their prices for changing some fogged double insulated windows. Their price was extremely fair and based on their in shop service, I'll be calling them in the Spring to change the 5 fogged windows.

Work was done quickly and professionally, and I was given assistance in bringing it out to my car. The place is nothing fancy but they get the work done. In fact, they were a little too busy the day I was there!

We got bids for backsplash in kitchen and Circle Glass gave best price. The installers measured for the glass, giving advice about one questionable area, quoted estimate then came back to remeasure for installation. The glass was fabricated and installed within two weeks. It fits perfectly.

I gave the gal the measurements of the mirror I needed and she gave me an approximate cost over the phone. I asked when they could come out to measure and she gave an appt. within a week. The measured and called me in a couple days to give me a firm bid and told them to do it. A week later they called to install. It was beautiful! I will use Circle Glass for all my glass and mirror needs in the future. They are professional, polite, highly qualified, friendly and accommodating.

We remodeled our master bathroom and wanted to install a glass shower door and enclosure. We solicited prices from four glass installers. All of the prices were within our budget and close in cost. I chose Circle Glass' price because they were local in Fairfax and the reviews on Angie's List were was excellent. I believe I made a wise choice. They were top notch. When it came time for measurement, their people showed up on time and were very courteous. They suggested minor modifications to make the enclosure better than what my wife and I had envisioned. The glass was fabricated in the same time as they promised. The installation team was professional and took all necessary precautions to protect the new finishes. What a great experience.
