Circle Glass

They were very responsive. They got back to us quickly and someone came out as promised and gave us a quote. We accepted. Then they scheduled the work. Given there were so many windows, we had to wait a couple of weeks for them to get to delivered to them. It was all done in one day. They were neat, professional and cleaned up the area. It was very well done.

They did a great job of matching the bevel cut as it was a custom cut.

I needed the windows in the sidelites on either side of my front door replaced. They were old and foggy because the seals were broken after 30 years. Circle Glass was recommended to me by the company that replaced the windows in my home. Circle Glass did an excellent job, and I would hire them to do other glass replacement.

The first time they cut the glass, the person who had taken my ordered measured correctly but wrote down incorrect measurements in the work order. Circle Glass immediately corrected its mistake when I picked up the first order and found that it didn't fit on the table. I was glad that I brought the table with me on both visits.

It was very good working with Brad who installed our glass and then completed some additional required repairs. I was very pleased overall with the new glass and I appreciate Circle Glass standing behind its work. Circle Glass offred me the best pricing and the work was done very well so I am happy and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this compnay to others. This is an updated review and issues have been addressed, thanks to Brad and his staff.

Poorly. We were given an appointment for an estimate but no one showed up or contacted us.

Technicians are very professional and super helpful, while their office support (scheduling/updating/communication) can be improved a bit.

The staff at the showroom helped me pick out the right glass for my door and budget and the guys who came and measured and then installed it were polite, professional and clearly knew what they were doing. I was completely pleased with Circle Glass and would use them again in a heartbeat. The workers came on-time to measure the windows. They were very professional and clearly knew what they were doing. The order took a couple of weeks for the glass to come in, but when the glass was ready, the workers came back quickly to install. They arrived on time and put the glass in with no trouble. One of the windows was quite large (7' x 5') and heavy, but they took care of everything without difficulty. They left everything clean. It honestly could not have been easier. I had 2 other companies working on house projects about the same time, and I wished they could be as professional as Circle Glass.

I was called to pickup the pieces. When I arrived only 1 new table top glass had been cut and the corners were not dub cut as I had asked and was documented on the order. The second piece wasn't even on the order and the cut on third piece I brought in was also forgotten even though it was documented on the order. On my second return to pick up the pieces, I did receive all three pieces but this time was told that they were out of the plastic spacers that had been promised when I first put in the order. I will have to call later to see if these will be in stock and will have to return for a fourth trip to pick these up. Overall, this office has become a second rate service. I have been a Circle Glass customer now for 15 years and have watched their quality diminish over the years. My previous visit to replace medicine cabinet door mirrors met with the same lack of care. On my first return visit on that service they tried to give me the mirrors without being replaced on the cabinet doors. I had to return a third time on that service before it was complete. I will be seeking out a new glass company from now on.

Very dismissive with small jobs. Called to schedule an appointment to measure for frameless shower door for Oct. 12. Brad, who took the call, first tried to push me into scheduling into a date I didn't ask for neither would be available (Oct. 5). I insisted on Oct. 12 when I would be home, three weeks in advance, and Brad made the speech that because it was Columbus day it would be a tough date because it books fast (and that's why I called 3 weeks ahead). After checking the schedule, Brad said Oct. 12 was free and agreed to have an appointment between 3pm and 5pm. Well, the guy showed up at 9:32am and left a note on my door to reschedule. When I called Circle Glass to check on what happened with the appointment between 3pm and 5pm, Brad said that the appointment was in the morning, made no apologies for any confusion or unannounced change on their end (never got a call confirming the appointment either), and offered to re-schedule later in the week during work hours. After waiting a month for this appointment, and being treated as if Circle Glass is doing the customer a favor, customers should just go elsewhere where they are valued and not treated with such dismissal.

The glazing (this is the outside putty that holds in the individual panes of glass) on my windows was crumbling so bad that my painter couldn't paint them. It's hard to find someone to do this since modern windows are no longer made like this. Most window places just want to sell you new windows. Circle Glass was responsive and punctual in scheduling the estimate. Their communication is very good about when they are coming and I was pleased with how the windows turned out. There was some quality issues with three of the windows as they let a less experienced worker do them. I sent pictures to Circle Glass and they totally agreed and sent out another person to fix the reglazing. These things happen sometimes and a good company takes steps to insure quality work and that is exactly what Circle Glass did. They came out a second time to improve the work. I appreciated that they wanted the work to be done right. Overall, I found them and their work professional. I would definitely hire them again.

Circle Glass provided me with a rough estimate by email within a day or two of my sending rough measurement of the units I needed. (I sent the same request to another glass provider highly rated on Angie's List who similarly responded promptly but with a higher. price.) After I called to accept, Circle Glass promptly sent an employee to take the precise measurements. I paid half down, when the panes were ordered, and the remainder after the work was completed. It took about 3-4 weeks for the panes to arrive and installation was scheduled shortly thereafter. During a long, hot afternoon, the Circle Glass crew was courteous and efficient and worked continuously until the job was (almost) done, including trackling the installation of the trapezoid which proved none too easy. I say "almost" because three windows had to be reordered due to measurement issues. This was done promptly and the last windows were installed right after they arrived. It's great looking out through all our new clear glass and knowing we did not spend probably 7 to 10 time more replacing windows that (with the exception of one) otherwise are in fine shape. 10% Angie's List discount on materials was honored. Great job by Circle Glass.

I received an estimate from this company earlier this year, to install a shower door. Due to another issue, we were not able to proceed with the install at that time. Once we got back on track, I contacted the company explaining what happened and if they would honor the original quote. I was told that they lost my paperwork with the measurements and had to re-measure. They indicated the date and time they would come to do this. Because I could not be at the house, I provided them with a code to enter the house for the measurements. They said they call me when they got there, so we could discuss estimate and options. No one called. Called the company the next day and was informed that they get the measurements. This was the first example of communication failure. They sent me an estimate and the quote that was 200 + higher than the original one. After email exchange it was discovered that the difference was due to the shower height being 2 inches taller in the second quote. They proceed to give me a revised quote with same measurements as the original quote. Now it the cost was 100+ more even though they indicated that their prices actually were less than before. I asked if they could honor the original quote and was told via email ?Of course I will stay with the price I originally quoted you for?. I requested then to proceed with necessary paper work. I got nothing via email or any sort of communication. This was the second example of communication failure. When I called them today and after a couple conversations, I was told they would not honor the original quote even though they agreed via email. This was professionally wrong.

Came by once to install and noticed and alerted us about tile damage. It gave us the opportunity to fix the tiles prior to installation and saved a big hassle down the road. Circle glass has to make and extra trip but did it cheerfully. Great experience for us.

I contacted Brad at Circle Glass and he was able to give me approximate prices over the phone, based on emailed pictures. That was very helpful so I could be certain they were in a price range I was comfortable with. He scheduled a technician to come within a week or two. I liked the technician and felt like he was able to brainstorm with me about options, since my toilet is in an odd area affecting the future shower door. They came during the time frame that they said, and work performed was great! Two tiles fell out when they went to pull out the old shower doors, it seemed to not be their fault at all. I was happy because they called me right away AND had the right tools to fix it right away. However, they said they could not fix the shower until a week and a half later because that was the next opening! But all is well that ends well... when I called Brad to complain that there is only ONE shower/bath in the entire apartment, he figured out how to get it done only 3 days later. So I was a happy camper. On the second shower, I didn't like how water kept getting in the plastic door sweep, where I would have to pull it off and clean it out. They responded very quickly and didn't charge for coming out to put a little bit of silicon on it. The work they did was lovely and still sturdy even though I have several little kids who continue to slam the doors shut over the last 6 months.

Came on time. Worked efficiently. Carefully. Excellent result. Appreciated his approach and diligence. Will go to Circle Glass for windows/shower doors etc.

I had asked for an estimate for replacement glass in two doors and a set of windows where the seal in the double paned glass panel had broken and air had seeped in, creating a foggy look. The two gentlemen who came out set to work immediately, trying to assess the problem. They quickly determined that these were custom-milled doors and that, sadly, there was no way to replace the glass. Instead, the doors themselves needed replacing. They determined this in about five minutes' time. I had another window with a casement joint that wasn't working, and I asked if they'd have a look at it. They said they would.. In two minutes, one of them repaired the casement joint, which set the formerly crooked, gaping window sash straight and true in the window frame. For this, they charged me: NOTHING. I had two different contractor's workers out to look at this casement window, and they said it couldn't be fixed, and that I needed to order a new window. Sometimes, you just need competent professionals around. If I need ANY glass replaced anywhere in my house, I will call Circle Glass, and only Circle Glass. I couldn't be more impressed.
