THE JOB WAS A 3 LEVEL TOWNHOME. THE COMPANY PROVIDED PROMPT PRICING, EASY SELECTION OF HARDWOOD AND CARPET. THE WORK WAS QUICKLY SCHEDULED AND COMPLETED IN JUST A FEW DAYS, AS QUOTED. THE WORK INCLUDED REMOVING ALL OF THE FLOORING ON 3 LEVELS, INCLUDING DAMAGED HARDWOOD FLOORS, CARPET PAD, CARPET AND WOOD STAIR LANDINGS. I HAD 2 LEVELS WITH INSTALLED CARPET AND 3 STAIRCASES AND ONE LEVEL OF WOOD FLOORING INSTALLED NEW. THE JOB WAS GREAT AND THE OWNER HELPED ME OUT WITH PRICING OTHER WORK I NEEDED DONE AT THE HOME, AS HIS CREW WAS VERY TALENTED. I PLAN TO USE THEM IN THE NEAR FUTURE WITH ANOTHER HOME THAT NEEDS NEW FLOORING. THANK YOU

Perfectly done. Stairs, a peculiar curve in the floor design, all great. We cleaned up before hand, and they moved all the furniture. They were very polite. We responded to one of their deals here, but you will want to have them come and show you the standard carpet, and what the upgrades would cost. The padding they used was very good. Overall, an excellent experiences. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Walked in and was greeted great. I was looking for a carpet that matched a VERY specific color I wanted. The owner let me take home two sample boards to compare and look over. Price was good but could not match the color or type of Shaw carpet. I cant talk about install or quality but very professional and really listened to me.

During the install they found that our staircase structure was separating and requested that we repair it and then they would complete the job. It would have been easy for them to carpet the stairs and walk away but they did the right thing. It turned out to be an easy fix for my husband and they completed the install the next morning. We have already contracted to have them install flooring on our main level. Wonderful owner and installers. Highly recommend. The carpet is beautiful by the way. A+

Our experience with D & S Flooring came with the company's quick response to the purchase of a Big Deal on carpeting. I was contacted by a sales rep., Masood (I'll admit that I don't recall his last name). From the very beginning he was very friendly, and we arranged a time for him to come out with samples and to measure. Even with his pleasant demeanor, I was a bit leery because I thought that might be different once we met in person to look at floor samples. I feared he would try to upsell me to something much more expensive. Fortunately, my apprehension was completely unwarranted. The day Masood came to the house, he had plenty of samples, and he thoroughly and efficiently measured (this job was a complete re carpeting of a 3-level town home). We reviewed the samples, he pointed out the differences in the types of carpets, etc. I told him that I definitely had a fixed budget, so he identified samples that would allow me to stay within my spending range. I made a decision, he gave me a quote and was on his way. I discussed the quote, which was more than anticipated, with my spouse. In the end, Masood was able to work things out so that we were still able to get the carpeting, but not bust our budget. The two installers worked awfully hard - on a very hot day - to get the job done. Both were very friendly and diligent. It probably took about 10 hours to do the entire house. I would definitely work with D & S flooring again and am pleased to not only provide this review, but to also recommend them for anyone's flooring needs. It was a completely pleasant experience.

The guys he sent out were just contractors of his and barely spoke. The job looks decent

Masood was very responsive to our short deadline. He explained the pros and cons of refinishing our wood floors, the process to do the work, how to care for the floors once finished. His crew did a fantastic job.

Everything was great. Masood at the shop took a good amount of time showing us different options and never tried to upsell us. That's so welcome. He came to our house to take measurements and a week or so later we had a new floor. The install guys were prompt, did a great job, and cleaned up after themselves. I would definitely use D&S again!

We received a number of estimates. Most of the experience was painful. The salesman would offer us a price for carpet and padding. When we rejected the offer they would come in with a lower estimate that "their manager approved an upgrade for the same price" or "we'll throw in the pad for free". In reality they were offering the same thing at another lower price. We went with D&S flooring because Masood personally came to our house and showed my husband a variety of options. He showed the difference between the weights of the padding. We then went to his showroom to look at the options together and found great carpet and upgraded carpet for a great price! This is our third wall-to-wall carpeting job on our house and it is much better quality for the cheapest price we've ever paid. On top of that the replacement was done quickly and his installers worked directly for him (no subcontractors) and had for years - a sign of a great manager! It went very well. Mr. Masood was responsive from the start. He even brought a large number of heavy sample squares to our home after he closed his shop, at his suggestion, because we live some distance away. We were very appreciative, but in a subsequent visit to his shop, I realized it really is better to go there to see all samples and possibilities. The two flooring technicians arrived within the time frame we expected and worked very hard and efficiently, plus they were friendly and professional. They did an excellent job, to include cutting and replacing floor mouldings in both the kitchen and bathroom. Sawing was done on our deck to avoid sawdust inside the house. We had to hire our own plumber to remove a toilet and vanity and replace them after the job was done, so that cost was not included in the service cost. The price seemed reasonable, though it was higher than an estimate we got last year---however, we were not convinced that particular company was experienced with floors other than hardwood and so we relied on D&S's good reviews. Our receipt did not detail costs, except for the identification of the laminate to be used, measurements, and the total cost of the job. Our own research convinced us that the cost was not excessive and was probably very competitive, and workmen of the caliber of the technicians who installed our floors are not always easy to come by. In short, it is clear that Mr. Masood and his staff take pride in their business and desire to give customers the best service and outcome possible.

We ordered the carpet. It was delivered to the shop quickly and was set up for installation in two days. The Installers arrived on time and were very professional . They installed the carpet over seven hours and cleaned up very well. The carpet installed was as we expected. We believe that the padding underneath is sub-standard and maybe builders grade. As we walk on the floor we can almost feel the plywood underneath. The gentlemen that we worked with was nice but our expectations were not met. Recommend that a potential buyer get a feel for what type of padding is being installed before purchasing.

Masood was absolutely delightful to work with and was very responsive. His installers were punctual and professional. The product and the install look great and I'm very happy with the look. I didn't shop around for comparative quotes (since I was on a tight timeline), therefore I can't comment on the cost compared to other vendors, but I'm very happy with the outcome.

We were very happy with the whole experience. Masood contacted us the next day, after my first email, to make an appointment to come the house at our convenience. He brought a lot of samples in all price ranges. It took about 5-6 business days for the carpet to arrive; and was installed the next day. Masood's crew was very experienced. It took them about 6 hours. At the end of the installation, Masood called me to see if I was satisfied with the installation. I look forward to having Masood install some new flooring next year on the first floor.

I found their information from Angie's List. This is my first home so I wanted to find someone who could also advise me on the best options. Their quote was among the lowest but more than that I found them to be trustworthy and therefore I went with them. They were also willing to perform the service within my time frame. The crew arrived before time and worked long hours to get the job done within two days. The work site was left clean and the crew was also nice enough to help me with some other work I was doing in the house on my own. The company is a small operation but the quality of work is great. I highly recommend them. Masood was very responsive (unlike some other firms that I had contacted based on Angie's List recommendations).

We got multiple estimates from different places. One large very well known carpet provider gave us a similar estimate to Masood for lesser carpet, but when we told them we went with another vendor their price suddenly dropped by jaw dropping levels. My wife and I were tempted, but ultimately thought we did not want to work with that type of group. We were also getting what we felt was superior product from D & S and ultimately went with Masood. When he came to the house to show us carpet he was incredibly friendly, personable and brought a ton of different samples for us to look through. Once we narrowed it down he brought out a ton more that were similar and let us really go through them while he measured. We had chosen a top of the line carpet of course (not meaning too) and he recommended some others that were similar, but would save us some money. We were doing the whole house and so the savings helped. Everything from there was also very easy on our end. The carpet arrived and we scheduled the install for the next Monday. Two of his guys showed up on time and went straight to work. They not only laid all of the carpet, but fixed some of my sub-flooring (for free) and did it in one day. They rocked it! They moved the big furniture and showed me what they would be doing and where. The carpet looks great and we are so happy with both the process and the install. We will certainly be using them again and would recommend them to everyone in our area that needs carpet.

Went really well, the floors are gorgeous! I would have liked a little more information on how many people were coming. Four people showed up and got right to work. Not complaining, just didn't think to ask. Communication would have been nice on taking that final payment from my card. Otherwise, outstanding job!

We had visited D & S Flooring during the summer just to get an idea of our flooring options. We were very unsure what type of flooring was possible and had not decided what company would do the work. We went first to D & S since they are a neighborhood business. Masood, the store manager, met with us and explained our options and costs. I planned to do the subfloor work myself. We were so impressed with Masood and what he had to offer that we did not shop anywhere else. We returned two months later after we had completed the subfloor work and finalized our floor selection which was laminate. Installation was completed one week later. Installer arrived as scheduled and was friendly and very efficient. We are very pleased with our new porch floor and the complete service that D & S Flooring provided. We highly recommend this company and will use them again for any flooring needs.

Everything was fine. The workers came exactly when they said. The floors look very good and everything was covered and kept very clean.

I am very happy with the work done on my house, Masood worked around my hectic schedule and came out to my home to be able to pick the new carpet and measure. Very quick turnaround from ordering to install, just a few days. the Installers arrived promptly and worked very efficiently to get the old carpet and padding removed. The actual carpet install moved a little slower then i couldve asked for, but it was still done all in 1 day. They did a great job and i would used them again

The owner was very prompt with a response. He met with us quickly, and was friendly and knowledgeable. His price was much better than our previous quote. The two gentlemen who installed the carpet were very quick, friendly, and did a great job.

Mahsood was great from start to finish. He came out, examined my floors , which were really scraped up, and explained what the coupon would cover , my kitchen and hallway. On the day of work, I decided to have the stairs done as well. Mahsood's crew quickly adjusted and Mahsood even gave me a slight discount. At the end, my floors were so gorgeous! I am only sorry I have to walk on them! I will definitely recommend this provider and will go to them again for any of my flooring needs.

The service worked out very well. They sent three technicians who did the work over two days. They sanded and re-stained the floor in my breakfast room. I paid additional to have them replace the shoe modeling. The floor looks very good.

We bought a Big Deal for $349 for 200 Square Feet of Hardwood Sanding and Refinishing. Masood came to do the estimate on time. His first impression was that our floor was maple, not oak, and that might cost more money, because he assumed we had oak floors; even though Maple is a hardwood, and that is what the Big Deal said. He gave us an estimate and said he decided not to charge us more, so I was happy with that, although I would have argued if I had to. I had some questions and had to confirm our appointment time for the work and I found that trying to reach him on the phone was difficult. He always did get back to me, but there was often a long delay. The appointment arrival time was set for 8 to 10 am. The workers arrived at 12:30 pm. They said it was a 3-4 hour job, with 8 hours of drying. At the end of the first day, they said they needed to come back in the morning to finish and apply the second coat of finish. This was a terrible inconvenience to me on both days. I though they would finish in one day. I had to rearrange my schedule for two days to accommodate them. The workers did call on the first day to say, first, that they would be there around 11, not 10; then, that it would more likely be 11:30; and they finally arrived at 12:30. The floor is still drying, but so far I believe they have done a nice job. The work site was kept clean and the floor looks great.

I have a very small foyer that needs to be refinished plus the stairs. The contractor said the stairs would be $50.00 per step in addition to the $349.00 that I had already paid. I thought the stairs would be included in the price since the foyer area is so small when I signed up for the coupon.
