Although our bathroom project was small (a partial remodeling--replacement of wall and floor tile and installation of new shower), FBT executed it as seriously and professionally as thought it was a much larger project. The scheduled installations were performed on the exact schedule they proposed, and to the exact dollar as contracted. Mr. Mark Farewell was extremely patient and helpful while we spent months deliberating color, style and sizes of the tile pieces, as well as the shower components. Giovanni, FBT's tile "artist", quickly removed the old tile and proceeded to lay the new tile without skipping a beat. FBT also installed the plumbing and fixtures associated with the new shower Although the new quasi-frameless shower walls were subcontracted, their installation as made fully according to expectations, on schedule, and this work took less than five hours in making the shower fully operational, an amazing feat for such custom work. The installation was performed with absolutely no damage to our beautiful hardwood floors over which materials had to be carried back and forth. Since installation, which was completed about 45 days ago, we continue to be fully satisfied with the remodeling work performed by FBT, and can recommend them to anyone contemplating similar work. In fact, our neighbor has expressed an interest in having similar work done by FBT after seeing the results achieve in our bathroom. Should we require similar work in the future for another bathroom or in our kitchen, FBT would be at the very top of our preference list for carrying it out.

Superb experience. This job initially arose from a need to replace the tile floor in my rental property's main bathroom. When he reviewed the room to prepare his bid, Frank Brennan, the owner, spotted a weakness in the shower drywall where the old caulk had pulled away from the tap and the controls, allowing water to seep behind the wall over time and to leach into the drywall. The result was soft spongy walls on two sides of the tub, a disaster in waiting. While I was not overjoyed to learn that I needed the extra work, I was relieved and impressed that he had spotted the problem. If you have ever had a wall or ceiling fail from water damage, you know whereof I speak. FTB was willing to schedule the work around the weekend absence .of my tenants, which was very important to me. The installation crew showed up on time and did the work promptly and exactly as we had agreed, while keeping the house immaculate. The floor and the shower walls look great. And all within the original bid. I couldn't be happier.

Mr. Farewell quickly provided me with a detailed breakdown of the cost and scope of the project, written in a way I could understand. For various reasons, it took a while to obtain additional bids on the construction (the renovation of 2 bathrooms). The company was very patient with me and handled all communication in a very professional manner. In the end, my decision came down to FBT and another company, which I chose to do the work. I would definitely consider FBT for any future jobs.

The staff of this provider arrived about the same time each day. They were also able to accommodate my schedule for one day that I could not be home because of a doctor's appointment. The only mix up was that they came a week early; but I had not been informed of the date to start the work that week. So, the work was rescheduled for the following week. I'm very happy with the work done. The tile on the floor is much better than the tile replaced, because it does not have a slippy surface, which makes it safer for a bathroom. I would recommend that anyone thinking about getting work done in, or a remodel of, a bathroom get a number of estimates. I got a surprising range of estimates. Selecting the lowest estimate may not be the best option.

Very pleased with the entire project - from initial contact to estimate/quote and to actual install. I had picked a complicated herringbone pattern for my tile backsplash and it came out beautifully. Appreciate the attention to detail and the precise ways the smaller pieces were cut to fit into the area. It's the highlight of my kitchen.

These guys were great from start to finish! Frank came out to create our estimate. He was extremely thorough, and was very helpful with all our questions. The project manager, Jason, came out to meet with us again before the work started to help confirm our tile decisions and to make sure we were comfortable with everything that would be happening during the course of the work. Everyone we met with--Frank, Jason, Julio--were all extremely friendly, very knowledgeable, and very professional. The work they did was fantastic, and they even finished much earlier than we had expected. We couldn't be happier with the beautiful bathroom they remodeled for us!

Project lasted much longer than original estimate. Because of extended schedule several crews were involved. They do very good tile work.

My wife, who has very high standards, says it looks better than she imagined it could.

FBT installed our back splash a while ago, and so because we were happy with the quality and service, we decided to hire them for a small full bath remodel. They did an excellent job withinstallation of the tile, new bath tub, plumbing fixtures, etc. but did have some communication issues with one of their subcontractors which resulted in some less than desirable results - mainly drywall patchwork that is very noticeable. But FBT (their tile installer) went above and beyond to create a custom niche in the bath area to accommodate our requests. That is the sort of service we are looking for. All in all, FBT provides very good service/quality at a reasonable price.

FBT was very responsive when I left my first message on Angie's list and contacted me the same day. The following day, Mark came over to give me an estimate. I mentioned that I would like the work to be down within the next two weeks and he said that though they were booked through the end of August, he would get back to me and try to work my job in. Two days later, he phoned to say that they could begin work the following morning. The men who installed the backsplash were polite, professional, and worked hard to get the job done quickly. The end result was a beautiful backsplash installed with precision. I hightly recommend them and would use them again.

Frank and the team saved the day! Not only did they do a beautiful job, but they fixed the plumbing issue last minute when the plumber didn't show. They worked quickly, were friendly and did a perfect job.This was the only shower in the home so it had to be done in one day. Awesome.

They did quality work. It was a good job. They will work with you and they stay on top of the job to make sure everything was right.

FBT Tile & Marble did a terrific job with the installation. The original custom built curb was only going to be one inch high, but they determined it would be best to be 3 - 4 inches high and did not charge extra for the change. They were respectful to our home, did not make a mess outside of the bathroom and reinstalled a mirror (with child safety locks) outside of the bathroom for us. The workers came on time and stayed until the day's work was done. Overall, the job took about 3 weeks.

Their core staff (especially Carlos) did quality work. Their subcontractors had to come back to correct their previously done work. Specifically: the plumbing subcontractor installed a large soaking tub but did not install the drain plug or drain plug control handle so the tub could not hold water; the glass shower door leaked and had to be reset with a gasket. The project took a whopping three (3) months to complete. To their credit, FBT's manager (Mark) did get the subs to properly finish their work and all workers were courteous throughout the work period.

We used FBT Tile & Marble Inc for two different jobs. FBT Tile & Marble Inc did a half bathroom downstairs, they did tile, replace the commode and the sink and the shower, faucet and the appliances there and they tiled the floor. They did a very nice job, we were very happy with it, they were very clean and they cleaned up after themselves. They were very nice, they were all very nice. We did a few things ourselves, but for the most part they did everything. They were very reasonable. They weren't the cheapest and they by far not the most expensive. I thought they were very reasonable. I was happy with the price.

In preparation for excavation of a full perimeter French drain and sump pumps by a waterproofing company, we needed to have part of a downstairs bathroom removed and later restored. FBT's proposal offered a fair price that included removal of the glass shower door enclosure, removal of several rows of tile and drywall to provide access to the shower pan, and removal of the shower pan itself. The proposal did not include restoration of the removed components, which would be handled as a separate job. I elected to contract with a different company whose proposal included everything. I was favorable impressed with FBT and definitely will keep them in mind for any ceramic tile/renovation needs that arise in the future.

FBT Tile and Marble did a fantastic job installing tile in our half-bath on our main floor. Upon completion, we were thrilled with the results. The floor was beautiful! It was evident that the work was of high-quality. In addition, upon completion, they replaced the baseboards and perfectly matched the wooden floor plank connecting to the hallway. Finally, they reinstalled the toilet and sink as well. We will definitely seek their services again in the future for additional tile work. We highly recommend this business to others. They were very knowledgeable about their product and very professional. Scheduling was easy and I did not encounter any issues. There were initially one project manager and two workers that showed up to do the work. The project manager checked everything over before they left my home.

FBT Tile & Marble were superior from the start. Mark came out and gave us a competitive estimate on the job, and explained all the work that would need to be done. We did not want to replace the vanities as it would have busted our budget, and we never felt any pressure to expand the project at any time. The 2-man team who removed the old tile and installed the new 13" tiles, led by Julio, were excellent, professional, and thorough. They remained focused on the job, which took approximately a week, until it was completed. They took care to protect the area outside the bathroom from tile dust as they cut and laid the tile. They worked quickly and efficiently. When I asked about a corner tile that had a small crack in it, they were incredibly responsive. Mark told me that they would take care of it the next day before the shower was installed; the next day, Julio was here at 8am, and by the time the shower installer arrived later that morning, the tile was fixed. We were extremely impressed by FBT Tile's professionalism, workmanship, and customer service. We have a number of other projects that we are considering, and we have already asked Mark for an estimate on the next project. I recommend FBT Tile without reservation.

FBT did complete renovation of two bathrooms--gut demolition, new bathtub, showers, wall and floor tiles, sinks, toilets, fans, lighting, and we also installed two skylights. They exceeded all of our expectations. The workmanship is excellent. The team that we dealt with -- Mark (sales), Jason (project manager), and crew (Walter, Matt and Juan) were superb. Calls and emails answered promptly; all queries and issues addressed in a timely way. Our house has an unusual shape so laying tile on floor and walls was a challenge because there are few right angles, but the crew did extraordinary work. Everyone was polite and friendly. FBT gets highest marks for professionalism, craftsmanship, and timeliness. They plan the work well (actually they finished in less time than originally estimated, which seems to be rare for contractors!). The supply companies they work with, Ferguson for fixtures, Mosaic for tile, and Marblex for marble, were also really great. Part of the secret I think is that they do all the work themselves-- tiling, plumbing, drywall, painting, skylights. The only subcontractor they brought in was the electrician. So they control both quality and timeliness. They are not cheap but I believe their price was fair. (price above includes all labor and materials but not custom cabinetry and lighting which we ordered separately). This company is booked for months in advance--but it is well worth the wait.

FBT Tile and Marble did an AWESOME job doing the backsplash in my kitchen. I had a picture and a vision that was very intricate and they did actually what I wanted. The work was excellent! I would definitely use them again and would recommend them highly.

FBT Tile and Marble is one of the best companies I have had the pleasure of working with. I have done extensive remodeling of my home and could write a book about all the things that can and will happen during the process. My experience with FBT Tile and Marble was professional, prompt and painless. The estimate was spot on. The tile selection is spectacular. All questions were promptly addressed. The attention to detail was wonderful - which lead to a seamless remodel. The crew arrived exactly at 7:30 am on Saturday morning. We actually left town for the day and arrived home to a gorgeous new bathroom. The house showed no signs of the demo that had taken place. The install was beautiful. FBT Tile and Marble will be the only company I use for future remodels.
