 + -1 moreThey did a great job but they were somewhat expensive. I have used this company in the past. They knew what they were doing as they are led by a certified arborist. They cleaned up the mess but I would not hire them again on the cost factor alone.
Description of Work: I hired this company to prune a willow tree. They estimated the tree removal, but we did not go with that option. They took off the dead wood and diseased looking parts instead.

The scheduled appointment was the day we requested, but was not able to confirm as the call back was on my business phone and I was on vacation the week they left messages. Anyway, I was reached by a family member to return to monitor the work. I left work and went home to monitor. The team was professional, timely and courteous. They cleaned up and left the scene as clean as it was to start.
Description of Work: I called the arborist to have an assessment of a diseased limb on my Red Maple. I also wanted to have some limbs cleared back to keep them off the power lines. Two Red Maples were trimmed/pruned/cleaned out in the front yard; one diseased main limb removed. All cut materials were chipped and hauled away. The yard was swept and power blown to clean up.

 + -1 moreWe have had The Care of Trees come to our house on three separate occasions this year to do work on these trees in our yard. They are polite and courteous, always doing a great job and cleaning up beautifully. After the work done to straighten the peach tree, disposing of the branches that needed to be removed, they even came and picked up the peaches that had dropped off into the yard. I assure you they are reasonable for the area and I wouldn't call anyone else for this type of work at our house.
Description of Work: They pruned several trees on our property, sprayed the trees for insects, and staked and straightened up a peach tree that had been damaged by a hurricane.

All work was performed professionally and efficiently. Cost was in line with estimates from other firms. Overall experience was excellent. Would rate The Care of Trees "A".
Description of Work: Removed large tree, pruned four trees, structural pruning of cherry tree, removed all debris, sprayed two peach trees and cherry tree for scale. Staked peach tree partially uprooted by high winds.

 + -1 moreI received a prompt estimate and was impressed with the knowledge of the arborist. The work was done efficiently - and cleanly. Not a twig was left behind, and the remaining tree stumps from the dead trees were at ground level! There was a follow up call to make sure I was satisfied.
Description of Work: They removed a fractured major tree limb, raised the canopies of several trees and trimmed them, removed a 20'' dead oak and a 6'' dead oak, and they removed all resulting debris.

 + -1 moreTHE CARE OF TREES STAFF WERE DELIBERATE, AND CAME TO THE CONCLUSION THAT THE TREE WAS TERMINAL. THE ARBORIST WAS PROFESSIONAL AND FELT THAT THE TREE COULD NOT BE SAVED.
Description of Work: ROOT PRUNE LARGE RED OAK, RIGHT REAR CORNER OF THE HOUSE. THE TREE WAS STRUCK BY LIGHTENING AND LOST A LARGE BRANCH.
