Extremely pleased. We are using them for an annual integrated pest management system and also for biannual pruning.

The Care of Trees arrived to remove, from my front yard, two very large Bradford Pear trees that had been damaged in a storm. These trees had lots of branches and stood about 30 feet tall. They sent experienced, English-speaking professionals, who did a really great job of navigating all of the ins and out of the tree branches and removing them with precision from their motorized lift while being careful not to hurt my house or front yard. They really seemed to know what they were doing. For this job I thought their price was very reasonable for the tree work, but a tad high for the stump grinding, which apparently they subcontract out. Overall, the total price was very fair and I was happy with the work.

From my first phone call with Alease Carr at their Dulles Office to a visit from the Dulles supervisor Jeff Walton, to each work crew I spoke with, these folks are real professionals. I actually changed my mind about the scope of the work I wanted done after Jeff had visited and given me a firm quote, which I hated to do but I had a real change of mind, and Jeff was very patient with me. He shifted the scope around so we could still do essentially all of what I decided I wanted done, and still stay within the budget. Due to weather and my own schedule constraints the work was spread over two separate visits, but the crews were great, and genuinely knowledgeable. These guys know trees and are excellent communicators. They are not the cheapest around, but you get what you pay for, and I thought it was money very well spent, on a company that provides great value because they do such excellent work. I plan to call them again for work in the future and I recommend Care of Trees without Reserations

OUTSTANDING!!! As always, Jeff Walton was a pleasure to work with; he is reliable, honest and extremely knowledgeable. He outlined the game plan for next year and advised my husband as to what tools to buy so he can do a bit of maintenance work himself in the meantime. What a refreshing change from a vendor who would charge you ridiculous "professional" prices for a job that anyone could do! Just a side note: Care of Trees came out last year and trimmed and pruned all our trees. We are proud to say we were the ONLY house on the block without ANY damage to our trees caused by the winter storms. We can bet that it was a result of the impeccable job that was done getting the trees ready for the ice and snow! There is simply not enough words to convey what a terrific company Care of Trees is -- a credit to Angies List!

They did a very good job. We found them from Angie's list. They did an excellent job. They cleaned up, and they were very safe. There were three men, so they did the job very quickly and efficiently. There was always somebody on the ground, whenever there was somebody on the tree to make sure he was safe because they all were on the front as well as backyard. It was very nice. They sent an arborist out, and she evaluated the situation. She then scheduled an appointment, and sent her workers out with the detailed explanation of what needed to be done. The price was very good because we did price them compare to other people, and they were extremely reasonable.

Could have been a better experience. Had used In Care of Trees many times in the past, knowing that they were pricey, but usually pretty good. Decided to get a quote from them to remove 3 large oaks, one which was leaning towards the house and had the potential to fall anytime. The were prompt in their response, but their price was high compared to Absolute Tree who I eventually used with great success. They also indicated that they would be using a crane that had the potential to crack my driveway and that it was not their responsibility. Absolute did the work using a crane and never touched my driveway... Their salesman was also a little miffed when I called him to tell him that I chose someone else. He said he felt like he wasted his time. I think that's the nature of quoting, you win some you lose some. I will probably never call them again given how happy I was with Absolute Tree.

They were expensive but they were good. The people who came out were arborists. They were knowledgeable about the trees and knew what they were doing. They do not suggest you to get rid of trees. They are very good at strategically pruning trees, so they stay healthy and also reduce the weight in the canopy.

They were efficient and professional. They came out on a holiday weekend when a tree had hit the house.

The Care of Trees crew arrived when scheduled. They called in advance to let me know they were within 10 minutes. They arrived with 2 very large trucks, 1 with a shredder and 1 with a big bucket. The crew worked diligently and quickly took down the 2 very large trees. They then worked on the remaining 3 trees. They were professional and thorough. They cleaned up the entire area when they were done. I would use them again and would recommend the Care of Trees to anyone.

Did an excellant job of removing trees and all debris. Delay on stump grinding due to very lousy weather. When the guy showed up with the tank tracked grinder, he put down what looked like sheets of ply wood to protect the grass on the way to the site. There wasn't a bit of damage to the grass that I could see. All work was done very professionally. They will be my tree service folks in the future. Plus they are certified as suggested in the Angie's List booklet. Had some fly by nighters do some work and it was really poorly done. Make sure you arborista are certified. It makes a difference.

Prompt return of phone call in early AM. Representative to my door withing 6 hrs of calling. Completely unhurried evaluation of specific situations and likely scenarios. Advised to watch trees for the time being. Not necessary to remove any trees in question. Well Done!

Jeff Walton came out and did a thorough assessment of my problems, and suggested the work to be done. The two crews showed up on time, and worked non-stop for one full day, and a few hours the next. They performed all the work mentioned in the estimate, and cleaned up so well it was hard to tell they had been there if not for the piles of firewood left behind. The price was not cheap, but the work was exemplary, and I would definitely use The Care of Trees again!! They even let me use their wood chipper to get rid of some bamboo knocked down during the big winter snow storm!

I made an appointment for an estimate, Jeff Walton came and looked at my tree, listened to my needs and explained what they could do. He is very knowledgeable and I learned a lot about my tree. The workers came as scheduled even tho we had had snow earlier in the week. They performed the work as described and cleaned up the area to the point I could not have told they had been here except the tree was trimmed.

It went great. I have not lost any major tree limbs since they pruned and cabled.

The quote process was pretty simple but there was a big mix up when I tried to order the service. They "told" me that they did not get my message so my order was delayed until I called to ask about it. Other than that, everything want well. The two employees that showed up did a great job. They worked very hard and the yard was completed cleaned up at the end. The process took about 2.5 hours. The end result is that my two trees look very nice.

They were on time. They are efficient and did the job to my satisfaction.

This whole process we simply amazing from start to finish! When Mr. Walton came out to look over the yard he did an extremely thorough job, walking with us thoughout the whole yard, examining every tree, taking in depth notes and making detailed suggestions. We were floored by the estimate -- far, far less than any other company and when you are talking this size of a job -- the Angie's List coupon (which was cheerfully accepted) offered a sizeable discount! We signed up on the spot. On the work day, the gentlemen showed up on time, knocked on the door and walked with my husband through the yard, reviewing the task list. They then got right to work. One of the fellows even knocked on the neighbor's door, introduced himself and explained what work was to be done on the trees overhanging their property. The gentlemen left the yard cleaner than they found it, removing all debris and generally tidying up.The results are OUTSTANDING! We bought the house four years ago and neighbors are telling us the yard has never looked so good. The trees look simply beautiful and if you can say trees look happier, they do. ;-) We are already planning additional work to be done in the Fall. Care of Trees knows how to take care of customers above and beyond the expected. Thank you, all!

They were very professional in what they did and they did what they were doing and when they finished with the trees they did the bushes because the neighbors had it done by someone else. Again I don't think this is my review. Care of Trees didn't do anything with bushes on my property. But they were very professional and skilled at pruning and thinning the oak, maple and beech trees in my yard. Yes, they are more expensive than other providers but they are true arborists, not just someone with a chainsaw in a pickup truck.

Altogether a top-notch job. This is our 3rd (and by far the largest) tree service with them. I've had other bids but it seems like each time I find Care of Trees to be the best value for money. They will not be the cheapest, but you will get what you pay for. Highly knowledgeable, professional and courteous.

They came out and were very nice, prompt, and professional. I chose not have the work done, but would call them again for another estimate. Their pricing was around the other estimates I received from other arborists.

I told them that I wanted firewood left. They only did it when I objected and they only did about half of what I wanted. They just left me with logs that were double long then they should have and they didn't split it, I had to hire someone else to do that. They should have told me before hand what they were willing to do and what they werne't because they knew I wanted firewood. They were able to do the work with disturbing the other plants in my yard.

They were very reasonably priced and were wonderful to work with! They did good a great job.

One of the trees they were trying to take care of is dying. I have told them to quit treating it because it was pointless. The first time they returned they lowered the price since they were no longer taking care of this tree, the next time they came they charged me for maintaining this tree even though they were not. They are not customer friendly and their prices are a little steep. They come out and expect payment within 5 days but we dont always get the bill within those 5 days even. The arborist was very nice, but customer service wise they were a bit rude.

They did a fine job. They are thoroughly professional. They are a very large company and you can even pay your bills online. They have trained Arborists that work for them. They show up when they tell you & if for some reason they're not going to be there they do call you to let you know.
