Excellent. Once I accepted their quote their installation was timely. They are very professional from installation to customer service in their office.

I used them at my daughter's house last summer. I would use them again in future.

They arrived promptly, were very friendly but at the same time professional. They have always bent over backwards to accommodate us whenever we had a problem. The problem was always fixed in a timely fashion at the costs were very reasonable -- usually below other companies. I would recommend Colonial Plumbing to everyone who need their services. I don't think you will find a better company

Installers arrived as promised. Work progressed smoothly. A minor disappointment occurred when the only gas shut off valve installed was the one behind the stove, rather than in the garage where line enters the house and where it would be more accessible in the event of a fire or other emergency situation. Work was performed on a timely basis and neatly, with no callback needed.

On Saturday afternoon I heard water running in the crawl space. After determining all faucets and toilets were not running inside, I called for assistance. I received a call from the plumber indicating it would be at least an hour before he could get here. He arrived about and hour and a half later and spent about 10 minutes. He found a crack in a piece of PVC connected to part of the irrigation system. He was able to shut off the water and said he could return during normal business hours to repair it so that I would not have to pay the after hours rate (I did pay him $79 for the service call). He gave me a price to make the repair - $265.04. I decided to call the man who had worked on our system before. He came out the next day, made the repair in less than 30 minutes, and only charged me $85. While I appreciated the quick response on a Saturday evening, based on the pricing quote, I do not plan to use this company again.

Quick and simple so everything was taken care of in minutes. It was not a major issue; however, having the correct tools and patience unlike me, the problem was quickly corrected. It was worth the mindset of knowing there was nothing else wrong and knowing the problem was resolved. Scheduling the appointment was easy and could have been out as soon as the next day, but I was not available so they came first thing in the morning on the day I was available. Arrived right on time and could not say anything other than I highly recommend Colonial Heating and Plumbing.

I called at approx. 11am to ask if they could come out and check/unstop a clogged upstairs bathroom sink. The receptionist said they could be there between 2-2:30 ON THE SAME DAY! The two plumbers arrived at 2:25, spent approx. 10-15 minutes unclogging the drain, told me how we could prevent the problem in the future, and only charged $49.00!!! WE NOW HAVE NEW PLUMBERS!!! (and I told them so!!) Very appreciative new customer!

I had gas smell in garage and thought it was hot water heater. Check the lines but could not locate the issue. Jacob came out and fixed the problem immediately. Will call them back soon.

The contractors that previously worked on our house did not do a good job. They installed a unit that wasn't right for a 2 story home. Colonial Plumbing & Heating Co., Inc. replaced original unit with a larger one that could handle downstairs and installed a smaller unit for upstairs. Our home stays cool even on the days when the temperature reaches 91 degrees so right now I am really pleased. They were very pricey, but it was something we needed to do, Their service was good and their employees were professional. I believe the service was worth the money especially considering that it came with a 10 year warranty for parts and service.

They came out, looked at the staff and where the water heater was. The water heater they had brought with them wasn't gonna work because we had a gas water heater that was vented to the outside, they gave us a choice of either ordering one like that and would take two weeks to get here, (our grandson had been born and was getting home so we needed hot water in the house) or putting a tank-less water heater and that's the way we went because it was about the same price and they installed it on that Friday. They were very thorough, came when they said they were gonna come and were done by the time they thought they would be done. They explained everything to me. They installed it very professionally and I was very pleased with the installation and everything else.

We found this vendor in Angie's List. Our call was received by one of the most courteous and helpful call center workers that we have encountered in a very long time. She insured that she understood our requirement and sat up an appointment. The installation crew arrived on-time and surveyed the problem. They had to disconnect the old gas line, drill new holes from the crawl space into our kitchen and install a new gas line with associated new connections. Also the old holes were filled in the crawl space and in the kitchen to block rodents and to prevent airflow. After the above work was done, they insured that all gas appliances and the water heater were working before leaving. The plumbers were polite and efficient. They rapidly performed the job in a little over an hour. We were also very pleased with the price.

Went well. I apologize for a previous negative review for this company which was undeserved. To make sure I asked them back once and then again. They're great! I was mistaken in my previous assessment and must have confused them with someone else.

They are always on time, which is greatly appreciated. I have been a customer for many years and they take great care of me.

Rep was on time, did his work professionally, left the bathroom in the same condition he found it. He didn' t mind my 20 stupid questions on what/how he was doing. Actually learned quite a bit from him. I was a little concerned about the price for an hour worth of work but i feel he did a Class A job, so not real worried about it. I will, however, recommend to the next college bound youngster to consider plumbing instead of 4 years of institutional stuff.

We were moving into our new house and found the day before that the main water line valve was broke and had no water. The next morning I called Colonial at 6:45am and a real live person answered the phone. After explaining our problem that we had no water and a moving van going to show up in about 2 hours. They said they would have someone out in less then an hour. At 7:45 the truck drove and the two tech. had out water fixed in about 45 minutes. Yea, we had water. What GREAT SERVICE, they have all my business. Best part it only cost $136

They show up when promised, they are very clean, efficient, and friendly.

The plumber came and replaced faucets for a double sink in the bathroom. The coupon was a great savings.

Very pleased with work. Plumbers Tony and Greg showed up on time, looked professional and listened attentively to my description of problems. Work completed to my satisfaction. They had to deal with nuances associated with older home. Corrected leaking shower and kitchen facets. Value per dollar is good-true determination will be if facets remain leak free in a week but thus far "problem solved" as Tony said. Thank you and would highly recommend company and plumber Tony along with assistant Greg.

The guys came on time, assessed the job in short order, asked me how I wanted things hooked up, checked with me regarding switching the location of the disposal to the other sink after explaining the options, and got it all done very quickly. They showed me everything when they were done, and turned everything on & off to make sure it was all working with no leaks. I was very happy with the work done and would definitely use them again. Rather expensive, but that's the plumbing world.

Installed bath faucet, put new handle on toilet and repaired inside of toilet - can't remember what the part is called. Anyway, I bought the $89 Angie's list deal for the faucet and then added the handle, then decided they should fix the constant running of the toilet too. They did a great job and were very pleasant. I think one of them was an apprentice. Anyway - very satisfied with their work and their flexibility. They could have said they didn't have time to do the added on repair, but they were glad to do it and had the part with them.

I purchase an annual maintenance agreement with the firm ($241.00)and they provide free maintenance of my air conditioning and heating systems; I schedule two inspections annually and any other calls are free.

They were great. Very professional. They did as promised. Been very helpful since, with any questions I have had. I will use them again.

They were timely and worked efficiently. They did everything that I expected them to do. The faucet had a faulty part and I had to get a replacement part from the manufacturer. They got the job done in about an hour and a half. They were very prompt and they had availability the next day. The 2 people that came out to do the job were fine.

I have a Trane 13 seer Heatpump I bought in June 3007 (for my apx. 2100 sq. ft. brick rancher) from Barnes H/C and used their maint. plan for 5 years and in 2012 I changed to Colonial P/H for a cheaper maint. plan. On Jan 6th or 7th 2014, I called Colonial H/C and told them the heat wasn't working properly. They sent tech on Jan. 8. He toucheda pipe on garage heater and said "heats OK, let's check the thermostat" and proceeded to re-program the thermastat, inside the house , charged $104.04 and left. My Dec-Jan power bill was $274 (average for winter heating) and for the last 25 years the power bill had never gone over $400. Wher I received my Feb. power bill on 21 Jan. (15 Jan - 18 Jan), I was SHOCKED, the bill had increased dramactly to $649.25. I called Colonial and was told everybodys bill had increased because of the cold snap and they would send someone out if I wanted but, I thought I needed a scond opinion. Today (24 Jan. '14) I decided to call Barnes Heating & Cooling to check my thermostat's programming (telling them I had programmed it and wanted tot a second opinion). A tech came within the hour and Re-programmed the thermostat CORRECTLY (had been programmed wrong). When I told him of my power bill, he checked the outside heatpump and found the fan motor was burnt out out (needs to be replaced) and I had been running on aux. heat strips. He did what Colonial SHOULD have done - checked the whole system. Barnes is replacing the fan mortor within a couple of days at a discounted rate. I called Colonial, informed them what I was doing, and FIRED them.

Colonial Plumbing visited twice, once to install a vent free gas stove and once to rough pipe a gas line to the garage for a natural gas generator. All work was done in a professional and timely manner.
