Description of Work: While serching for a fence company for several months I found Lions Fence online. I left a messge to be contacted for a quote. I received a call the following day by Richard. He scheduled an appointment for the next day. Once I met Richard I was confident this was the company I wanted to install my fence. Richard and I agreed on a price, and an installation date for Tuesday the 28th. On Monday the 27th I spoke to Richard to confirm the installation because miss utility had not been out to mark the yard. He then informed me that he would have to delay the install because he had to take the day off and it was going to put him behind. I explained that I had already taken the day off of work and we really needed to stay on schedule. Richard then said that he couldn't install if miss utility didn't mark the yard by the end of the day (I understand this). But this should not have been a problem. We agreed on an install date a week ago. I called miss utility to make sure the yard would be marked before the end of the day. Miss utility told me that it would not be. The agent stated that Lions fence had only called at 3:30 pm the Friday before, and that they have 48 business hours to come out to mark (someone dropped the ball). The agent did expalin to me that if Richard called them they would give him the number to expedite the process. When I told Richard this he stated they frown on that and would still not mark it. That statement proved to me that Richard didn't want the job for the next day. |That evening I sent him a text letting him know that Miss utility didn't show to mark the yard (per his request). He wrote me a long email stating because they did not come out that he would not be coming out on Tuesday. He stated that he didn't want to risk bringing his crew out to work and miss utility not show up to mark the yard on Tuesday. He said this would only cost him money. | I explained that I was very disapointed. I would expect this type of service from a national company. I also let him know that since he was not coming out to do the work, I was also losing money. I took the day off of work for install to be completed. | Although Richard did apologize, he was not very sincere. In fact beleive it or not, I have not heard from Richard since Monday the 27th. I have tried calling, emailing and texting him. I still have not received a response from Richard. |I would not reccommend Richard or his company to anyone. This has been a horrible experience. Unfortunately Richard has set me back even further on getting a fence installed on my property. | |Richard, please don't respond back with excuses. A simple call stating that you didn't want the business could have resolved the situation.

+ -1 moreI got estimates from 4 vendors and based on Lions' high ratings in Angies list and the fact that they beat their competitors in pricing I selected them. I was impressed that even during the winter they could complete the job with snow on the ground and frozen dirt. Their onsite crew was great and was attentive to the particular items that I needed to be addressed. They were done on time and were very professional. My next door neighbor commented on how efficient their process was in getting the job done. Nice work Richard.
Description of Work: Removed old fence, replaced with 6ft cedar fence with lattice, approximately 230ft of fence with one gate.

+ -1 moreBased on a recommendation of my general contractor, Kirby Kerns, I contacted Richard Leitch, owner of Lion Fence for an estimate. I thought the estimate was very fair and contracted for his company to demolish my current fence and construct a new fence with two gates. Lion Fence company's crew sowed up on time when they were supposed to be there and were very professional in their conduct and demeanor. The finished fence looks great.
Description of Work: Demolished old fence and hauled off built new cedar plank fence with two gates.

+ -1 moreExcellent! Could not have been better. Lions Fence gave us the lowest estimate of all the fence compnaies we contacted. (The estimate by Lions Fence was considerably lowe than the others.) The Lions Fence Crew came down to our house exactly when they said they would, removed the old fence and put up the new one within two days. There was not one scrap piece of lumber or debris anywhere when they left. They left our yard was as neat as a pin. The foreman was at our house most of the time to make sure the job was being done as plannned, and to answer our questions. If you are thinking about having a fence installed, look no further.....call Lions Fence. (You won't be sorry.)

+ -1 moreThe estimate was done quickly by the company's owner. He gave the best estimate of three that we had. Additionally, he offered an even better deal by combining work on our fence and our neighbor's fence on the same day. They removed and disposed of an old chainlink fence and installed the new custom fence in two days. The workers were professional and efficient. The owner developed a solution to deal with a tree that was on the property line without removing the tree or making the fence look awkward. Overall, he met all of our needs with a quality product and good service.

+ -1 moreLions Fence was the first to contact us after emailing out estimate requests. The estimate was done within three days. We asked for a couple options, pine vs cedar, 5' vs 6' etc, and the Lions estimate was 5 to 10 percent lower than others. A couple of follow up questions and answers were emailed back and forth and the job was scheduled within about 10 days of the estimate. The crew arrived as stated and completed the entire job in one day. The crew leader was friendly and helpful with questions. When the first arch on the first section was cut, we weren't quite satisfied with the look, but it was no problem to replace the boards and re-cut. The workmanship was first rate and when the crew finished, everything was cleaned up well. The fence looks great and we were more than satisfied with the choice we made.
Description of Work: Removed old cedar fence, replaced with cedar, board on board, approximately 275 feet, arched top, one gate.

+ -1 moreUsing both local consumer reporting groups and the ratings for fence installation, I selected 3 companies for estimates that had decent and consistent customer satisfaction ratings and fair pricing. I chose Lions Fence because he offered the lowest price, had good customer reviews and could provide what I asked for which was a simple stockade fence. We scheduled the estimate appointment and after making my decision to hire Lions, scheduled for the work, which scheduling runs out about a week and a half and that also was a little sooner than the others offered. They showed up to begin work when they said they would and worked solid all day. His crew leader, Miguel, was attentive to all details and was very helpful in making some adjustments along the way. He was an A+ problem solver a couple times and made me feel like he would do what it took to satisfy us. They took care around my plants that were in the work area, cleaned up after the job and the fence looks great.
Description of Work: Total fence replacement for our backyard that included one gate. The old fence was removed.

+ -1 morePhone call about estimate was returned promptly. Estimate was done when scheduled. Work was done when scheduled. Quality of work was excellent. Price of work was very reasonable. Willing and able to work on all styles of wooden fencing, and advertise as "wooden fence repairs; no job too small." Some of the big companies don't seem interested in fairly small fence repair jobs; not so with Lions Fence, they did a great job on our fence and it looks better than it ever has since we owned our home!
Description of Work: Paddock style fence was repaired. Six boards and all vertical trim boards were replaced. All trash was hauled away.
