All went well. Very nice man informed me of what he was doing the check out the performance of each unit. Very pleased with his service. No maintenance needed at this time. His service took about 30 minutes.

The service was great. The product I don't know. We had to replace the part that froze up on the air conditioner unit, but that was due to the electric company, not Blue Ridge. The electric company had surges and burnt up the air conditioner unit. They came out fairly quickly. We had a warranty on it, but this particular part was not covered by the warranty. They did good work and did a good job as far as what they did.

Wonderful. Here when they said they would be. Very helpful in explaining what we were getting. Finished well!

Josh & John were the installers. They were very professional knowledgeable and friendly. They were on time, which was important to me and work had every day.

You be the judge. Here are the facts: I called Blue Ridge Heating and Air for their advertised $59.00 heating system checkup special. They came to the house on Nov. 19, on time and as scheduled. So far, so good. As part of the heating system checkup, the technician removed the starting capacitor for the blower motor and discovered that the capacitor was ?weak?. When he started to reinstall the old capacitor, I told him that if he had a new capacitor on his truck, to go ahead and replace the capacitor. He had the part and replaced the ?weak? capacitor with a new capacitor. These capacitors used slip-on connectors so there was no soldering or screws, other than the screw for the capacitor bracket, involved in removing /re-installing the capacitor. Blue Ridge subsequently billed me $99.00 for ?ESA?, which I took to mean a service call PLUS $95.00 for the capacitor and the labor to install the capacitor for a total of $194.00. When I questioned the bill, they said that the $99.00 charge was a mistake and that the charge should have been $59.00 as per their advertised special but that the $95.00 charge for installing a new capacitor was correct and that my corrected bill would be $154.00. I authorized the technician to install a new capacitor, without asking for the cost, so I will pay the ?corrected bill? although I feel that I was overcharged. The price of the capacitor was not separately priced. You decide but, if you use Blue Ridge Heating and Air, be sure you ask the cost for any work you authorize before they do the work.

Came right on time, when straight to work, check and tested everything - even checked the coils in the A/C unit. Gave his approval that all was well. Buttoned the system back up and left. About a 30 - 45 minute job.

It went well, I wasn't here when they did the work. It was neat and clean when I got home ... I'm not happy with the system they sold me, though. It's not very user friendly.

Blue Ridge Heating and Air did an outstanding job. They were very neat with their installation. I expected to find a "mess" when I got home that evening but instead was surprised with a job well done!
