Estimator was on time, explained everything well, and very good and helpful. Installation was on time. Door and hardware were properly installed except that the weatherstripping was installed too close and interfered with the smooth operation of the door. I removed and reinstalled the weatherstrip and all is well. The installation crew did not clean up well after themselves. The remains of someone's lunch and many nuts, bolts and screws were left on the floor and driveway where they could have punctured a tire.

From start to finish, the overall contact with Virginia Door was excellent. The person I talked to on the phone to explain my problem was quite helpful and walked me through the steps to determine what kind of garage door I had so that the appropriate springs were brought to my house. It was my suggestion to replace all four springs, even though only one was broken. Together we decided that this was the best for my door. Also, in having more than one door serviced, I was able to reduce my service fee (one door serviced was $65 + parts and the second door serviced at the same time was $32.50 + parts). The service person was on time and friendly and accomplished the task in about a half hour. In all it was a very positive experience.

The door would not close, and the guy spent all day working on it. They did send someone else out to fix it, and he did an excellent job. They apologized for the incompetence and fired the first guy who came out. That is the only reason why I would use them again.

The technicians arrived on time, with all equipment and finished the whole job in less than ninety minutes. The doors not only look better, but open and close much easier than the old ones.
