Description of Work: They arrived on time and hung a flat screen TV on the wall in my sun room. They ran the wire down the wall and covered it in a wall colored cover. (This was an extra charge of $30, to cover the wire.) They hung a larger TV on the wall in the bedroom and connected a VHS player. (We requested they run the wire in the wall, instead of down the wall, which was $100 extra). They connected the largest TV to our newly installed Direct TV and hooked up two speakers, so that our radio would play through them. (The radio was in the entertainment cabinet, below the TV). They did all of this in the allotted 2 hrs. that I had already paid for in a Angies List Special, with the exception of running over a half hr., which I paid for. Their work was very satisfactory and I would recommend them to anyone and would use them again.

Description of Work: I was very pleased with the service. When the technician took the TV out of the box (it was delivered to my home), he discovered the TV would not work. He went put the TV on his truck and went with me to a local Walmart and I had the TV exchanged for a larger model and still got money refunded from the original price I paid for the first Samsung model. He brought the TV back to my home and installed it, along with a sound bar I had purchased. He only charged me for an extra half hour of work. He was very nice and sympathetic to what happened. He did not have to go to Walmart with me, but he did, and I was very grateful for that. I am female and was not able to carry such a large TV myself. I don't know what I would have done without the help of this technician. I would highly recommend this company. | |Terrel Wiggins

Came on time. Completed all work requested very efficiently and capably. Took time to educate me on how to use the remote controls in activating the TV and other components. Friendly and helpful. Would definitely use again. Great professionalism at a great price.
Description of Work: Installed new 46-inch LED TV, with cable box, new Blue Ray player, plus an older VHS/DVD player. Provided new HDMI cords for two connections. Moved older TV and stand upstairs to another room and installed it with cable box. Programmed new cable remote controls to work with the new devices. Arranged all cables and surge protector so that my 4 cats could not interact with them.

When the home was recently purchased, the seller removed all of the capability to control the installed TVs including surround sound. The FIOS installer indicated that we would be able to control the TVs with the provided FIOS controllers. Not so. After research we noted that RF to IR capability would be required to control the FIOS TVs without going to a closet tp point the IR controler at the FIOS box. We checked Angies list for stereo and home theater reviews. We called several companies listed and had only one call returned. JOHN REEDY of Spartan Protech. He was very helpful and patient on the call and scheduled an appointment for the next day which happened to be a Saturday. John arrived on time and was very knowledgeable and explained the various options available to us to solve the problem. He did not rush us and patiently explained in simple terms what we needed. We scheduled the installation at his first availability several days later.. John and a helper arrived as scheduled, completed the work professionally and very neatly. Shortly after they left we noted that cc and mute were not programmed into the new controller. We called John on his cell phone and he returned immediately and added the items. Very impressive. We highly recommend him for home theater installation and custom wiring. We plan to us him later to instal surround sound.
Description of Work: 1. Installed an RF remote capability system with an advanced universal controller to allow control of FIOS on a 60" TV installed over the firfeplace in the family room. 2. Installed an IR surface receiver to control FIOS on a 40" TV installed on the wall in the master bedroom.\\ The FIOS HD control boxes/units for both TVs were in closets out of the line of sight for the IR remote provided with FIOS needed to control the FIOS capability.. (Required one to go to the closet each time a FIOS change was made) Installation enabled simple remote control of both TVs in the vicinity of the TVs, not a closet.

I initially found this company through a discount coupon I purchased on Living Social. I was unfamiliar with the process of having a TV wall mounted. John came to the house to provide an evaluation of what needed to be done for the proper installation of the TV. I had to purchase a wall mount and some HDMI cables, and a surge protector in addition to the price of the installation. It cost more than I expected, but I was extremely pleased with the workmanship,professionalism and the final outcome.

Extremely well. I am very happy with the results.
Description of Work: I had a television mounted on the wall, and there was a string of network cable that was run for convenience, I had the technicians to run the cable for me cleaning for a better appearance. John and I setup a noon appointment, he was actually early, having another technician with him. They started with the television mount, measuring the area for the installation. The entire job surprisely took a little more than three hours. They cleaned up their mess, testing connection and appearance. It was wonderful.

First he did a thorough inspection of what we had existent and then he worked with us to establish what our needs were. He thoroughly removed all the old dead lines we had and reestablished lines directly from our box to various outlets in the house. He did a great job. He did it quickly, cleanly and at a fair price. He knows what he’s doing.
Description of Work: We used Spartan Pro-Tech LLC to update our cable system for phone, internet and television. John Reedy was the gentleman who came and did it for us.
