Description of Work: The company was supposed to caulk/winterize 10 windows and 1 door. They had a scheduling problem because the weather was so cold the first time they tried that the caulk would not flow properly. On Jan. 26, they had the same situation, but put the unopened tubes in hot water to try and keep it flowing. They were courteous, and spent all day working to get all the windows done. They cleaned up well after they finished. I don't the communication between the company owner and his workers was quite clear. They had no idea what they were supposed to do to the front door's gap at the bottom.

Description of Work: Quality Built Exteriors removed our deteriorated existing privacy and chain link fencing, and replaced them with new privacy fencing and gates. They were professional, fast, extremely polite to my neighbors on either side which was important since their fences were impacted, and we are still happy with our new fence.

Description of Work: This guy is the master of excuses. Came out to evaluate; was to call w/in 72 hours to schedule. I called him after 3 weeks! He said the fault was Angie's List: they had all customer info and website was "down for several weeks." Datye re-scheduled; then he called: stuck in Chesapeake traffic & hadn't moved in over an hour (not bridge). Date RE-RE-scheduled. He came. 2 windows to be caulked: he didn't remove old caulk, didn't caulk entire window, just put caulk on 2" BOTTOM ONLY frame of each side. Worker told me he'd do future work; call him, not the company.

Description of Work: I contacted the provider a couple of times, but they didn't respond well enough to actually set up an appointment. I finally had another company do the work that needed to be done.

Description of Work: Built custom stockade fence with a single and a double gate. Beautiful and very sturdy. Crew worked hard and cleaned up and removed unwanted foliage and rotted fencing. A pleasure to deal with.

Description of Work: Mike is outstanding and his contractors do a great job - very happy with finished product. Only complaints were folks doing the work left nails scattered about (I have kids) and plastic trimmings in my lawn that I had to remove before mowing. Took a while (days) to confirm the job was done; would have appreciated a quicker followup to let me know.

Description of Work: I was not that impressed with this business. I was postponed 3 times and then called and put me off another few days. It was several weeks before I saw anyone and then the owner called and I got excuses about the person calling me and that he got fired. When the guys came I just got told that they needed to hurry so they could be done and kept trying to see me a new roof from themselves. My roof is still leaking and they supposedly caulked where I have breaks in the old caulking. I am very disappointed.and I would not use this company again.

Description of Work: Quality Built Exterior built a fence to replace an old, damaged one. This was conducted on our rental property and therefore, it required them to arrange for a survey and coordinate with our renters for the work to be completed. The company was very thorough, polite, and did a great job of working with the us (the homeowners), even though we did not live in the area.

Description of Work: Removed and replaced roofing shingles on my home and shed, along with removal of old vents/attic van and installation of multiple ridge vents. Called about small stain left on driveway and they came right out and took care of it, and followed up with a phone call to make sure I was satisfied. Overall very professional, timely and neat--highly recommend!

Description of Work: The repaired some siding that had blown off during the last storm. He arrived promptly at the time that we agreed upon. At first he didn't have a tall enough ladder. He asked if he return tomorrow to complete the job. Again, he was prompt and completed the job quickly.

Description of Work: It was a little disappointing that the work I wanted done was unable to be completed, but we did get an awesome estimate for roof replacement. We look forward to working with them soon.

Description of Work: Prior to the person coming out to the house, my husband and I took pics of the roof, missing shingles, (there were no missing shingles) etc. When the worker came out, he removed shingles off the roof, told us our roof (which did not give use any issues before; this was only purchased for maintenance service as we are new home owners and want to stay on top of things) was a piece of "poop" for lack of a better word. Scared the mess out of us by saying we needed a new roof pronto (we just had a home inspection, roof was in great shape).. It was an uneasy experience. We felt a lil con-ed. Not only did he remove shingles and did not check the gutters, he did not replace the shingles...so now I'm paranoid of something happening. ;(. Quality Exteriors is rated as a great company but the worker did not dictate that in his performance.
