Quality Built Exteriors

Once deal was purchased, the response from company was very quick and a date and time was set up by Larry. On day of service, he arrived promptly and proceeded to set up for replacement of fan... he was very organized. He was also polite, knowledgeable, very neat and finished the replacement in less than an hour. He made sure I inspected the work and knew how to operate the fan. He then did a roof inspection and found everything to be in good shape. I was very satisfied with the service and professionalism and would recommend this company to others.

Baldy, and when I gave him a "get out of jail free" card (twice) he didn't take it. He arrived and we sat inside and discussed what I wanted to be done. He had brought a product sample kit and some photographs of the companies work. He didn't seem to understand that I want to preserve the historical elements of the home, it was built in 1912. Looking through the photographs, I asked if he had experience working on older homes and he said he did, so I asked if he had pictures of those projects. He did not respond immediately. toward the end of the appointment he said that the reason he didn't have pictures of the work on older homes was he did that when he worked for another company. We went outside to discuss the particulars and I had to tell him three times I did not want the trim on the 2nd story sleeping porch to be included. We stood on the lawn and he pointed up to the eaves 3 stories up and basically said "What do you want to do about that?". I finally figured oput he was talking about the Facia. As we discussed what I wanted he kept telling me it would be expensive. I told him I would decide on the priorities excetra after reviewing his proposal and cost estimate. He seemed confused, so explained I wanted a detailed estimate with matierial quantities and cost breakdowns. He said the compnay normally just provides a bottom line estimate. I said OK, I want a detailed cost estimate and if your company doesn't work that way I will find one that does. He said he copuld provide it. I went inside and a little while later he can in and showed me his notes and said they were tha material requirements. I replied great I looked forward to seeing his proposal. I never have seen the proposal.

Horrible. They attempted to price gauge me. If it was truly a deal worth $6200, they attempted to get that amount and more from me for doing the work advertised. It was a horrible experience and seemed like a scam from the provider to gain new customers and get guaranteed work. They attempted to turn a $2999 work project into an additional $4000+ of work just to add trimming the garage doors. They added lots of additional fees including gutter removal and re installation because there are existing gutters there. Too much to explain but suffice it to say, I would never recommend these guys (especially to another woman).

I was on deployment for the navy and my wife had a man from quality built exteriors come out to talk with her about getting plans for a new porch in the summer of 2013. He came out and talked to my wife about the plans and what she wanted and he said he would draft something up and then come back with the new plans and sketch. My wife never got a follow up. She tried calling multiple times leaving messages, and there was never a returned call. Finally she gave up on trying to get the man to come back out. I returned after 9 months of deployment, and contacted the company and asked them about it, and I have still not heard back from them. The plans are no longer useful to us and would like our money refunded due to what we paid for was never completed.

It was fine. They did what they said they would.

The Provider was punctual and knowledgeable. We were out of town when he came, and he told us he did not need to get access to the inside. Once he did his inspection and told us the problem, he repaired it and went on his way. Everything worked out great.

The man was very nice and inspected the roofs on our house and barns. He noted some missing shingles we hadn't noticed and came back to replace them. He was accommodating to our scheduling needs. Nice job.

The person who came out was very professional. He did a thorough job and explained the state of the life of my roof very well. He was on time and cleaned up when the work was fnished.

It went well above my expectations and would recommend them based on the quick response I received from the time of initial request to the time they came out to perform the work. He was honest and not pushy to get work.

They worked with me and were competitive. There were a lot issues, but I'd say it was a fairly good experience. It took a while to get something done. The siding quality was good and the trim quality that they replaced wasn't so good. It took them a while to get that redone but still I'd say it's not to the mission that we would have liked it. It was okay. Siding was the primary work and they did a good job on the siding itself.

I purchased a $59 deal from Angie's list for 2 hours of roof or gutter maintenance. Quality Builders emailed me immediately to try and set up the appointment but got me by phone instead to set it up. Came out when scheduled and was very nice, polite, and knowledgeable about the gutters and what I needed done. Went right to work and secured the gutter tighter that it was ever before, put a patch on a split gutter in the back of the house, and even replaced a few shingles on the roof edge line to try and make sure it was well protected. I still had time left over from the 2 hours purchased but the work was all done but he made sure I did not want or need him to fix or do anything else while he was here. It has rained a lot since the work has been done and no problems at all with the gutter!

It went great. He photographed the before and after work. Highly recommend.

I was very pleased with the technician but I was not very excited that he was already on my rook before the time we scheduled and I wasn't home yet. There was also a "salesman" with him that I wish was not, but he was very nice and professional about talking to me. He wan't pushy, just would rather not have had to deal with a salesperson on a service call.

We took advantage of ' The Big Deal ' offer for Quality Built Exteriors. The deal was $59.00 for two hours of repair and inspection of the gutter/roof . We had gutters that leaked terribly and there were a couple broken shingles, where they meet the gutters. We were contacted via email within two days and were able to schedule an appointment . Larry called us to set up a time that he could come out to do the work. He called the day of to let us know he was on the way. He arrived on schedule and proceeded to look at what we needed to be done. He was very efficient and neat . He finished the job within the time frame, and asked if there was anything he could do, so I asked if he would paint a small area on our front porch the painter had overlooked.. He didn't hesitate to put the ladder up there and took care of that too! It rained today so I got to see how the gutters worked. Great job Larry! No more dripping leaking gutters. We are very pleased .

I got a great deal for 2 hours of roof, gutter and siding repair for $59.00...fabulous deal! Larry called and we set up a time anddate...I rescheduled due to exoected snow/rain. We picked another day and Larry showed up right on time and did the work and I was very pleased with the job he did. He's very personable and friendly. I would definitely recommend him.

I purchased a big deal from Angie's List and their services turned out fine. He finished the job in 1 hour and 4 minutes. He did not charge me anything other than the big deal purchase. He is a very well qualified guy. He jumped right in, understood what I was asking him to do and did it and moved on. He did not leave any residue on the land around. We had some pine needles on the roof, he knocked them off two floors down and then he raked them up, put them in a little bag and took them with him. I could not have asked for a better job. His price was a fair price. It was worth the price for 2 hours of tune up, as we did not have anything major wrong. His professionalism was very good. His work was highly satisfactory and I would hire him for this other job.

They contacted me promptly, they came out when scheduled, they did what I asked them to do and I ended up contracting with them to do some deck repair so I'm happy with what they did. I have to wait until it rains during the day to be able to get outside and really see how well it's working but he went up there, take a look at it and seemed to have an idea about what to do about it. They got in touch with me within a day or 2 of when I purchased the deal and we scheduled it and then it was going to be pouring rain so I rescheduled for the following day. They worked around my schedule so I'm really happy with their responsiveness and of how they approach the thing.

Showed up on time. Got on roof, inspected roof, took pictures, and sat down with me to discuss what he had found. Discussed both what needed to be done now and what could wait. Emailed me the pictures for my records that evening. Looked at siding and gave me his opinion.

I originally bought the $59 Angie's List special deal because I thought I had a leak in a wall in my living room that was coming from a broken shingle on the outside. Mike came to my house and diagnosed the situation. He said the apparent "water damage" to the molding was not coming from a leak in the wall. I had a bookcase sitting over an air vent that, in the summer, serves an AC unit but, in the winter, serves a humidifier. He said the moist air was being blocked by the bookcase and forced to the wall. The house is over 90 years old and, somewhere down the line, most likely had a layer of lead paint on the molding. He said lead paint would buckle when it got damp. Some other contractor might have told me the wall needed to be replaced but, Mike said, "All you need to do is, move the bookcase, scrape off the old paint and repaint it." He said, he would fix the broken shingle (because, even though it wasn't leaking yet, it really did need to be fixed) and he would also do the repairs to the gutter and siding (that had been damaged by Cox cable!) and he would also repair the storm window on the second floor, all for the $59 in the original deal. I was so impressed by that, I asked him about re-coating the roofs of both side porches. That should be done about every 5 years and it had been 8 years since it was last done. There were also 3 or 4 places on each roof that needed repairs. He said he would do it all for $600. I thought that was a reasonable price so, I signed up. I paid half before the job was done and half after. He does offer financing but, I prefer to pay cash. Larry, one of Mikes' employees, came out on the scheduled day last week, even though there was still snow on the roof. He determined he couldn't do very much that day so, we rescheduled for today. He came out, right on time. He was so quiet, I hardly knew he was in the yard. By noon, he had half of the job done. He went to lunch and finished all of the work before 3:00. He cleaned up, never broke so much as a twig from my trees, and everything was spotless. I can see both porch roofs from second floor windows and they look better than they have in years. I was impressed that the work was done so quickly and so well. I have already recommended Quality Built Exteriors to a friend in Olde Towne who needs some work done on his slate roof.

Wonderful! I bought the "Big Deal" for two hours of exterior labor, and absolutely got my money's worth! Larry not only fixed all the various problems with the gutters (end caps, sagging, missing downspouts, etc.), but even cleaned them before he got started! (My only gripe was that he went crashing through the shrubbery with branches snapping alarmingly - but the azaleas seem to have survived well enough.) It was a great bargain with careful and conscientious work, and I'd absolutely call these guys again!

Since I live in AZ and my property is in VA, I needed someone that I could believe would do a good job without my supervison oversight. I found Quality exteriors on Angie's list and decided to go with them as they offered a certificate for a roofing job which didn't require me to put a huge deposit down to start. I was also in the process of financing the property and hadn't received the loan yet to start the complete job. During the assessment/appraise of the property, it was discovered that I would need a small roofing repair effort to get approval of the loan. Quality worked with me to repair the problem and added the cost to my balance which allowed the loan to be completed. They completed the entire roofing job in a very timely and professional manner working with my tenant for access to the property. The roof looks absolutely perfect and I will gladly do business with them again.

Mike Reddy and his personnel were very professional. At our first meeting I informed Mike that I needed a new roof, gutters and fence. He explained everything they would do and provided the cost at our first meeting. Upon Mike explaining everything to me I decided to go with his company. Due to the weather his guys started a week after our first meeting. The roofers arrived promptly that morning and went straight to work removing my old roof. By the close of the business day my new roof was complete. The fence was completed a day or so later along with the gutters. The work is high quality and looks great.

Excellent job start to finish, went the extra mile in terms of quality. Customer service and response were great, resolved all problems immediately.
