Description of Work: We had a "blow-back" from our wood burning stove during a storm with very strong winds which filled the entire house with smoke. Although I hired them directly and signed the contract, they and my insurance company raised the "contract" price by over $3000 after the job was completed. I refused to approve the increase since it exceeded the contract price and no additional services were provide to justify the additional payment. The insurance company adjuster when ahead and approved the additional claim without my permission and the company accepted the payment. Since they were the only company that my adjuster recommended, it raised a lot of suspicion in my mind on why this occurred. I will leave it to reader to reach their own conclusion on the possibility of why this occurred. I did considered entering a complaint with the state insurance commissioner but didn't think it would do any good. They also ruined a section of my carpet, padding and subflooring upstairs that took forever to get resolved. I would not hire them again.

Description of Work: Personal Touch handled a gigantic mold remediation project for me. They went above and beyond what I could ever ask for or imagine. I highly recommend them because they do an excellent job and truly offer a personal working relationship.

We did what we had estimated to do here. After our work was completed she had different subs in to do work and walked all over our grading. We came out free of charge and corrected the grading agian. After the North eastern storm came thru the sunken room started gettting water in it from a hole behind the slab that we could not get to because she did not want to pay to have the slab removed. Agian we took care of the water damage, and tried to plug the hole from the inside. her sunken den is below ground level. a year went by and we had another trential rain come thru and she started getting water in agian. This house is on a slab with a sunken den below ground level. It is a pour design, and she will allways have problems unless she raises the level of the floor in the sunken den to match the rest on the house. We have refunded 1/2 of her bill to her dispite her losing twice to the refund request from Americian Express. I don't know how to be more fair to the customer than that.

These guys were AWESOME. Their work was professional and exactly what we asked for. The only slight problem was the outside painter they hired to finish the job, but that did not overshadow the wonderful job they did.

They worked with me on all the details and they stuck to the estimate they gave me. The crew was very skilled and everything looked great when they were finished. They were polite when they were in my home and they got right to work. I was really happy with all they did.
Description of Work: They took the bathroom walls down to studs and did a complete remodeling job.

This is actually the first time I have ever had the pleasure of using the services at Personal Touch. I must say, they did a rather good job. Everything looked just as I wanted it to. The men really paid close attention to what I wanted done and it turned out beautifully. I am almost positive I will be calling them back out again.
Description of Work: Personal Touch planted, mulched and cleaned out the flower beds in the front and back yards of my home.

These guys were very hard working; they came right out and got all of the carpeting put in very quickly. The carpet looked great, and I was very happy with the people and their services. The price was the deductible on my insurance plan.
