Description of Work: Lowe's installed a new laminate floor in our kitchen. They came out to detail an estimate. We had to purchase the supplies and get them to our house on our own. We were not told that delivery of supplies would cost an extra $60. Work was completed in one day. Installer was very professional and did an excellent job. He gave us tips about why it was installed a certain way. He had the proper tools, which we would not have had if we had done the job ourselves. While labor was more than twice the cost of supplies, we were glad that we paid to have the floor installed. It was well worth the money.

+ -1 moreWe had bought the carpet from Lowes, and it was very good quality of carpet. The men that came out to lay it were here on time and very decent. They cleaned up everything after they were finished.

+ -1 moreThis job was a problem from the start. We had a disagreement about the price to begin with. They tried to charge us one thousand more than we were quoted. Then there were two windows that had the wrong panes installed. They came back to replace the panes, but arrived with the wrong ones again. They said they have ordered the right ones, but they have not been back. That was fifteen months ago, and we have given up hope of ever getting the right ones installed.
Description of Work: Lowe's installed twelve double paned windows in our house.

+ -1 moreThis was not too big of a job for Lowe's to do. They are a very reliable company and I have used them in the past for many different things. Their pricing has always been great with me. I never have any complaints. I think all they really had to do was some sanding. Whatever it was, they fixed it and it is now fine. I enjoyed their company and also their professionalism.
Description of Work: Lowe's repaired my front door that had been cracking on the side.

+ -1 moreI waited a long time to find the perfect door and I found it at Lowes. It is perfect as it matches the rest of my doors. It is a brown Pella door. They came out right when they were supposed to. They stuck to the price that they had originally quoted me. I really liked the fact that they hauled away my old door as that is one less worry for me.

+ -1 moreThey crew who came out were just wonderful people. They were so friendly and polite. They got right to work and the sliding door opened and closed smoothly. They cleaned up everything. I ve used Lowes for a lot of home improvements.

The crew was very experienced and professional and we are satisfied with the results. The price was very reasonable for the installation.

+ -1 moreLowes removed and replaced the door frame. I really didn t like the frame work they did on that. We had to replace the doorknob lock on the storm door, but that was a manufacturer defect. They did make it right with us. Other than that, I liked the job done. I don't know if I would use this company again or not.

+ -1 moreThese windows haven't given me much of a reason to be satisfied. Some of them had leaks between the panes and were holding moisture. It was suppose to be a good brand name that cost what most of the others would, but they haven't held up to good. For almost $2000, I surely had expected a longer life span that the short year we have had them.
Description of Work: They installed 8 double payne American brand windows in our home.

+ -1 moreThe workmen that did the roof did an excellent job. The men were very polite and we have not had any problems with their work. The roof looked great when they were done and they cleaned up all the debris from the old roof. They also made sure there were not any nails left behind.
Description of Work: They removed our old roof and replaced it with a shingle roof. Our home was a 2000 square foot ranch style home.

+ -1 moreWe picked the opener out over at the store with the salesman's help and got a good bargain. They sent the folks over to put it up when they said they would and they installed it pretty fast, to be honest. It opens and closes the door like it should and we haven't had to call for anything. They showed us how to adjust it and we were happy with the service.
