Within a few hours of my call, Joseph arrived at the house. He explained what he was going to do, then explained every step he performed as he did it. He instantly identified the problem, within a matter of seconds. He was thorough without belaboring the procedure, he cleaned up after himself, and the entire process was painless. He was also very up-front about what it would cost. I would/will use Joseph Godbolt again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended.

I call Joseph Saturday morning and he was at my home Saturday afternoon. Joseph Godbolt responded promptly to my call to repair my front load washing machine (would not spin). He serviced us the same day and was very professional. The door lock switch needed replaced (part $83) and his labor was $135, right within the range he quoted. I would recommend Joseph highly.

Great service! Great price. I might have found the last honest businessman in America! My refrigerator stopped working. I found Mr. Godbolt on Angie's List and called him. He came to the house the next day, diagnosed and fixed the problem, all for the price he quoted. I would recommend him to friends and would definitely use him again.

Joseph was able to come the day after I called him to say that something was wrong with my refrigerator, which kept running continuously. He arrived as scheduled and opened the freezer. "I know what it is," he said immediately and began working. He showed me what he was doing every step of the way and worked for over an hour. He fixed it, charged me exactly what he had estimated and later called to see that things were working. Lovely man!

I was very impressed with Mr. Godbolt, who was able to come the same afternoon I called him. When he was unable to come at our originally agreed upon time, he called to let me know he would be a bit later - which allowed me to change my plans accordingly. He was then prompt, easily diagnosed the problem, and communicated well with me as to how he would fix it. His manner was polite and professional.

My mother's dryer would not tumble. I got Joseph's name off Angies List, called, and Joseph came out fixed the problem right away. He is polite, clean, prompt, and knows what he's doing. The price was very reasonable and he provided a full 1 year written guarantee parts and service on the repair. He is our new appliance man.

Joseph was very knowledgeable and could identify the problem right away. He also fixed the water dispenser, which had not been working for about a year. He is very honest and wants you to understand what and why he is doing something. He guaranteed his work and the parts. He charged only what he paid for the parts no additional. I would definitely call him again and recommend him to my friends.

Called about noon and Mr. Godbolt indicated he had several other calls to make, but could fit me in later that afternoon. He promised to call back within a few hours to give an update on his arrival time. He was also able to give me a price range for the labor costs, based on the problem I described to him. He was true to the promise, and called me back about an hour later, and indicated he was on his way. When he arrived, he encouraged me to stay in the room, so he could show and explain to me exactly what he was doing. He described every step. The problem was traced to a blown thermal cut-off. Mr. Godbolt indicated, however, that it was important to find why this had blown, or it would just do it again. He took off the dryer's internal exhaust duct and found it to be very clogged with debris. He cleaned this out. He then installed the new thermal cut-off and high limit thermostat from a kit he had with him in his truck. He then indicated that he wanted to test other aspects of the dryer to see if everything was running correctly. After sealing it back up, he ran it for several minutes, testing the temperature of the exhaust to see that the thermostat was working correctly. Mr. Godbolt was extremely courteous. Explained what he was doing every step of the way. His final price was consistent with his estimate, and was $40 cheaper than another estimate I received. I told Mr. Godbolt as he was leaving how happy I was with his service, and that he will now be my regular appliance repair guy.

Mr. Godbolt came out to look at a malfunctioning dryer. He was able to come out almost right away. He examined the dryer, took it apart, explained what he was doing the whole time. He replaced a switch and got the dryer working again. It was a great experience. I will certainly call him again the next time I need appliance repair.

The individual who came out was wonderful. He was there when he said he was going to be there. He finished the work in an hour. My husband was there with him so he explained my husband what had happened and what we needed to do to prevent that problem in the future. He showed us the part and explained to us about the warranty that came with it. We were very satisfied with his work. Everything was very clean when he left and there was no mess left behind.

He is excellent. His prices are very fair and he does good work. I will continue to use him and would recommend him as well.

Mr. Godbolt is great. He knows his stuff and is unfailingly polite. I have used his services before and he has always arrived the same day or the next. His company is a one-man operation so this might not always be possible. His price seems more than fair to me and sure beats having a service contract.
