His first visit to my home was intially to replace the leaking valves in the Sayco fixtures in both of my bathrooms, but after investigation of my daughter's tub the that wasn't going to be the solution. The valves couldn't be replaced because someone had tried removing them with a chisel and damaged the diverter. The original cost to replace the valves was going to be around $200, and I was expecting to pay close to a $1,000 to replace the fixtures and the diverters. After all the work, Mr. Craig told me the charge would only be a little over $600, and there was enen a coupon through Angie's List.

My main water pipe burst in the month of November, I was without water for the City had been checking and found the leak so the shut off the water. I had been laid-off and was working a temporary job so funds were not available for this. I explained my situation and told them I would have to go to my family for the money so once I am given a price it cannot change for if it did I would not be given the money. I could get with the City to turn the water back on. In order to get the water turned back on the City of Virginia Beach had me sign a waiver stating I would not request a credit towards my bill from that day on. Of course I signed. Jim Craig knew I had no water and I was going to stay at a friends house for the night. He immediately went into action. He arranged the work, etc. Due to rain it took 3 days instead of 1, but once the rain stopped they finished and cleaned up completely. Again I would highly recommend Craig's Plumbing Donna Ingalls

I had a very good experience with "Matt" the representative from Craig Plumbing. He diagnosed the problem efficiently and effectively, was dligent and hard working in addressing the problem as well as courteous and patient with my questions. He offered suggestions and advice which I greatly appreciated. Upon paymnent, he applied the discount as advertised on Angies List. Overall, this was one of the best experiences I have ever had with a plumber.

I had quest pipe that runs from the water heater to the air handler, the house is heated this way. The quest pipe leaked so I was unable to heat the house. I spoke with Jim during lunch time and he was able to send out a tech the same day. Adam arrived on time with the tools and supplies to do the job. I was back in business in no-time.

I had an urgent need for a plumber. I had out of town guests coming in for Thanksgiving and the contractor I had remodeling my tub/shower decided to celebrate early before getting the fixtures installed. I got Craig's off Angies List and called that morning (Friday 11/18). They were very understanding and sent someone out about 3:30pm that same day. Upon his inspection, it was discovered I had a couple of issues that needed to be addressed, but he could get me up and running for the time being, said it wouldn't be pretty, but he could make it work. I said do it. Before he left, he discussed some options and said he would tell his boss what he found. His boss would call me on Monday 11/21 to go over what could be done to correct the issues. Well, Monday 11/21 came and went and so has Monday 11/28. I have yet to hear a word from them. So, even though my initial experience with this company was a good one, if you can not follow through and do not have the courtesy to call and say so, that's just bad business.

Matt arrived on time and was professional throughout. He reviewed our issues and gave us several options to correct them. Once he started working he went nonstop for several hours until the job was complete. We are very pleased with Craig Plumbing and would recommend them to anyone. We will definitely use them again for our future plumbing needs.

It was hard work, especially in our tight crawlspace. Everything looks great and they did exactly what they said they were going to do. Showed up on time. We've had a lot of work done on the house recently, many different contractors, and they definitely stand above the rest for courtesy, quality work, and doing a thorough job. It was simply a relief to have something done right and completely without any worries. We will definitely be calling them again for our future plumbing needs.

It all went very well. Got there at 0730 and were out by 1300.

I called between 10 and 20 companies in search of one that could replace our Bock Model 32E oil-fired water heater. ET Lawson installed the unit about 10 years ago but did not want to service it since we no longer purchase oil from them. Craig Plumbing was one of only two companies willing to take on this rare residential water heater. Craig Plumbing's estimate was very reasonable and they were able to start as soon as the water heater was in stock at a local supplier. They showed up on time, were very professional, and did a fantastic job. They also replaced a whole house water filtration system to include new valves. I highly recommend Craig Plumbing and will be calling them for all of our future plumbing needs.

We discovered the leak in our water heater as we were preparing to relocate to another house - not great timing and under time pressure. I called Jim Craig based on his company's reviews and proximity to our home. I got a call back that day from one of his guys in the office, and then from Jim about an hour later (refreshing!). When Jim heard that there was a leak, he insisted that he come out the next day to replace it before something worse happened. I was out of town and wasn't expecting that quick of a response, and didn't even know the size he needed in order to replace it. He put the most likely model on his truck the next morning, and promised to either fix it while there if he had the right one, or to make another trip if he didn't. Amazing. We had some complexity in the piping to the heater from a bathroom remodel we did last year, and he also promised to make sure that the piping, the blanket and pipe insulation were all as good as he found them. He was delayed in coming out due to a delay in another job, but called my wife well ahead of time to let her know. Once there, he and his guy did the work and were out in very reasonable time, lugging new and old units up two flights of stairs to the attic, and left no mess on the rugs along the way - very thoughtful. Finally, the finished product was the nicest I've seen - no solder mess, everything on and around the unit tidied up and very professional. All of the complexities were addressed as promised. In summary, this is the best experience I've had with a plumbing contractor so far, and I won't hesitate to use them again. I'd encourage anyone else to do likewise based on this experience.

Craigs Plumbing was great. I got a descent estimate from them the first go around and after finding a cheaper estimate, they were willing to match it. They arrived on time and completed the work in an orderly fashion. They had no problems installing a water heater I had bought, and were fair in the pricing of additional parts needed. They cleaned up well and did a great job explaining everything afterwards.

Matt was a competent and knowledgeable plumber...he saw the problem and went on to make the correction. Matt handled all the paperwork since he spoke directly to the manufacturer. I had a water leak out in the garage that I feared was coming from our main line under the crawlspace. Jim Craig was very responsive and helpful. He checked everything out and assured me that the leak was actually from my well pump. He gave me the name and number of someone he recommended for that repair (yes, that person was great), and only charged $25 for his time. He said he was already in the neighborhood and didn't feel right charging more. I would definitely call him for any future plumbing needs since he proved to be an honest and considerate person.

They are meticulous. Because of the things that we were doing in these bathrooms, it required, at times, a plumber sitting for hours rooting small pipes into really closed-in areas. They had to move pipes because it is an existing structure and it is three stories. They are very meticulous and they are perfectionists. We could not beat the price for what they delivered to us. They are outside working right now.

I really like them. They are A1. Their pricing is reasonable. The company is professional and efficient. They talk to you and tell you what they are doing. I will use them again.

I spoke to Mr. Craig and he dispatched Matt out to look at a leak I had under the house. Matt did a good job explaining what needed to be done and fixed it in a timely professional manner. He noticed a hangar problem that he corrected as well. I was pretty impressed with Craig Plumbing and will certainly call again when needed. matt represent Craig plumbing well.

We discovered our water heater was leaking on a Friday afternoon. Jim came over within two hours from being called, gave an estimate and said he could be there the next day. He even said that he would not charge more for doing the job on the weekend. He was extremely professional, friendly, and he and his crew were very careful around the house. They did not mess up anything and cleaned up after themselves. His quote was fair and the job was done well. I would recommend Craig Plumbing to anyone.

Mr. Craig was very responsive when we called and came out to give us an in home estimate. His quote was slightly less than his competitors and we felt very comfortable with him. Jim and his assitant, Paul, showed up on time as scheduled and quickly and competently completed the job. No hidden costs. All details were explained to our satisfaction. Paul was quite thorough in instructing us how to clean and operate the new water heater. No mess left behind. These guys did a great job and I will certainly use them for any plumbing issues we have going forward. I would highly recommend them.

We described problems over the phone and got an estimate. They came and replaced the water heater. Unfortunately while draining water they broke a spigot outside. They did a great job of fixing that and we obviously weren't charged for that. They had to get parts (o-rings, etc...) for the repairs b/c some of our plumbing is uncommon. They went out and found those & fixed everything @ the estimate price. Courteous and professional. Would recommend.

Jim Craig reviewed the installation location, gave me a bid and his company did the installation. He took care of the permits and scheduling the necessary inspections. A tankless water heater isn't cheap initially but will pay for itself in the future with lower gas bills and a longer tank life. I also believe that a tankless heater will be an asset for the house resale. Jim is easy to work with, a true professional and no pushy sales pitch. He gave me the options, with the pros and cons. He didn't lean on me to upgrade to a more expensive product. His employees are polite and cleaned up after the installation. I would definitely use Craig Plumbing again and have recommended him to my neighbors.
