Spectacular! Mr Wickline, Jr was easily available by phone. Showed up on time, very pleasant. Work done in a timely manner, completely clean evolution. Would (and have) recommend. Have had chimney cleaned numerous times and, by far, he was the best. I will use again.

Home inspection report revealed some repairs to be done prior to closing. Wickline reviewed the list and discussed with us what had to be done, what did not, and what it would cost. He arrives at appointments when he says he will, is honest, does great work. My realtor asked me for his card.

They did a good job of keeping everthing clean, and put everthing back nicer that when he go there. He also gave us a scale of how often to get the chimney cleaned. I appreciated him being up front with how often I need to have him back.

Amazing job. Stoney and David were prompt and got the job done right. Beware of other chimney sweep companies -- get a few estimates and call Mr. Wickline, you will get top-notch service at a lower price and you are doing business with a local company, so your money stays right here in Hampton Roads. Absolutely spectacular job! And they cleaned up afterwards -- I could not tell they were even here, other than my chimneys look great and the wood stove looks new again.

This is father and son business. The son returned our call within 12 hours and came out the same day to clean our fireplace and chimney. He was pleasant, conversational and interested in our home remodel. The cleaning job was discussed, a price decided on and he promised we would be pleased with the result. We asked about the nearly opaque glass front and he said it would be problem to clean this glass. No additional money was requested. The work was done carefully and professionally, with good communication on what was done, along with additional guidelines for use. When done, he explained that he had even touched up the black paint on the unit! Rarely have we had a contractor on site more conscientious and careful with their work. We told him about the good reports on Angie's List and he seemed very pleased. He didn't know about Angie's List.

I called Mr. Wickilne on October 2nd and he scheduled us for the next day. His son Stoney and a helper arrived right on time. Their work was clean, thorough and they were careful to lay down a tarp so that none of the carpet was affected. Stoney showed me where we had a chimney fire last season, but assured me that the stove itself had many more years left on it's life expectancy. When he finished with the chimney, he sprayed the stove, cleaned the glass and made sure the stove was level and secure.

Prompt arrival. He had to partially dis-assemble the flu as it was rusted shut. He thoroughly cleaned the chimney and fireplace. A new stainless steel cap was installed. Cleaning cost $109 and the cap was $169 installed. He left the fireplace clean and functional. Very satisfied.

I called and Mr. Wickline came out the next day. He was about an hour late, but was very efficient and knowledgeable. He was careful to lay out a large blanket in front of the fireplace to ensure that he kept the area clean and also came with a bucket and vacuum to clean up afterwords. He explained what he was doing step-by-step. When he was finished, he made sure I knew what had been removed and that I knew how to open the flue.

As always, Mr. Wickline was a true professional. The day he came to clean my fireplace, he also cleaned five others on my cul-de-sac never once stopping for a break. This mans work is impeccable.

They came out the same day I called and had the chimney (which was filthy from green wood) cleaned in quick fashion.

They did a very good chimney sweep. They used top of the line equipment and I could smell the difference when they were finished. They were a very knowledgeable crew who were hard working and polite. They were a good company to call for the job.
