So very happy with the service we get. They do a awesome job cleaning my chimney and fireplace. Wouldn't use anyone else!

Arrived on time and performed well. Somewhat expensive, but you get what you pay for.

It went great. I had called a well know chimney sweep company and critter control in January 2017. Both told me they couldn't do anything with an active resident. Wickline said they would have taken on an active resident . I wish I would have known about them earlier .

My husband and I were negotiating some home repairs on a house we were buying and I wanted an inspection performed on the fireplace and gas logs. The negotiation period was expiring rapidly and we called multiple places but they were all booked. Although Mr. Wickline was also booked, he made time after a project to have personnel come to the house to perform the inspection. We are very appreciative of this. The inspection was $99 and included a detailed summary. I will definitely use this company again.

After reading so many lovely reviews about AH Wickline I thought I would give them a try. Everything started out great. I called for a free estimate, and they came out within a couple days exactly when they said they would. They were very friendly and did a detailed job, saying I needed a new chain for my chimney cap (which we knew was broken) and that they needed to repair the re-point some of the brickwork on the chimney exterior. They even took photos of the chimney and the work that needed to be done. The owner said I will call you tomorrow with an estimate because they needed to look up the cost of the chain. He said- if I don't call you, you call me. That's when it all began. He did not call me the next day so I called him and left a message. He never returned my phone call. I called the following week and he did not return my phone call. I called the following week after that and got a hold of him - but I had to remind him who I was and what I wanted done (he had no idea), and he said he would call me back with an estimate but he never did. I waited another week to call and again, had to explain everything all over again and he said it would be between $250-$300 depending on the chain cost and then didn't follow up with an actual estimate (he was still speculating). I gave up and my husband started after him. Myy husband called and was able to schedule an appointment after a few tries. They came out and said the job was $225 just to fix the chimney cap/chain but they had no idea they were also supposed to point the brickwork. In summary: they never ONCE called me with an estimate or returned any of my messages and when I did catch them on the phone they always forgot who I was and what I wanted done. The entire process took about 4 weeks. I assume we were just unlucky because of everyone else's positive experiences, and they must have just dropped the ball on us, but boy did they ever.

We have not used our fireplace in the 3 years we have lived here because we had never had it cleaned. We decided it was time and scheduled A H Wickline to come out. They were a little late showing up, but traffic was bad that morning. They were very friendly and professional. They laid out a blanket to protect my carpet from getting dirty. My dogs were very interested in all their equipment and the guys were very friendly to the dogs. They cleaned my chimney (which had not been cleaned in at least 6 years) and killed all the spiders that were living in there. We will be using them again in the future.

Mr. Wickline has been working on our hearth for 8 years. He had a stove that was exactly what we wanted. They covered the area they were working in and completed the job in a timely manner. Mr. Wickline directed his crew to ensure perfection. Once completed, he gave me a great summary of how to work the stove. I've always been impressed with their work and competitive pricing.

The service was exceptional, fast, courteous and professional. I'm not exactly sure of the date of service, can't remember so just used best guess.

It was a complete pleasure from start to finish. As I said before they went above and beyond the regular chimney sweeping service.

He was highly recommended on Angie's List, so I chose him. I dealt with two or three other chimney sweep companies in the area when I was buying the house. They were all awful. When I called this company, he came out the next day. He was there on time. He was able to do the work by the end of the week. They did exactly what they said they were going to do. They charged me what they said they were going to charge. They were very good.

This company was able to give me a same day appointment due to a cancellation on their schedule. The two men who came were very thorough and left everything as clean as when they arrived. They showed me how to use my fireplace as well. I will definitely use them again.

After doing the research on Angie's List, I decided to go with A.H. Wickline. I left a message on the voicemail and received a callback within the hour. I scheduled an appointment for that week on a day my wife would be home. She said that Stoney and the other technician were very polite and quite entertaining while they went about cleaning the fireplace and chimney, She was particularly impressed with their care not to make a big mess and that they vacuumed the fireplace out and cleaned up after themselves very well. However, when I got home, I found that they had not left a work order, receipt or anything describing what they did, the condition of the chimney, or anything to keep an eye on. Our house was built in 1963, so I like to know that everything is safe. My wife doesn't recall much being said about the chimney when they finished either. I called and left a message on the cell # on his card. No response. I left another one a couple days later. Finally, on the third try I got Stoney and asked him about the lack of a report, etc. He said everything was fine. I found out that they had not gone on the roof and inspected the chimney interior and exterior which concerned me a little since I don't think you can see anything above the flue from inside. I happen to know I have some pretty good cracks on top of my chimney that I had filled in with concrete sealer. In summary, they have several rave reviews, but it took me awhile to get in touch with them after our job was completed and I would have felt better about things if they had left a cleaning/inspection report, work order or something as a record of the chimney condition, what they did, and whether there might be anything down the road to watch.

I was very pleased with the job that Stoney did. He was very friendly and professional, taking time to explain to me what he was doing and he provided me with good information about my fireplace. He was very thorough with the cleaning and took time to reset my damper as it was off-track. The inspection yielded no problems. We also discussed the possibility of putting a wood burning insert in for more effective heating use, something that I have been interested in. Stoney took time to clean-up any smudges on the fireplace that he had made. One note, they only except cash or check, so be prepared.

This company far exceeded my expectations. Not only did they inspect our chimney and clean our wood stove, but they also did something no other company had done previously, they inspected and lubricated the fan. That may be something that should be standard, but like I said, no other company had ever done that before and I hadn't even thought to ask. And if that wasn't enough, they polished the brass trim, spray painted the outside of the stove to make it look new and lubricated all moving parts. I will most definitely call this company again and would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

I called for a chimney sweeping, and Mr. Wickline responded quickly--he called the next morning and arrived the next day at 6pm.Both men were friendly and knowledgeable about their work, and answered all my questions. He recommended which parts to watch and to consider replacing in the future, but he did not press us to purchase extra services, which I greatly appreciated. We haven't been using our fireplace in recent years, so Mr. Wickline suggested that we could burn candles in place of wood and at least have a nice appearance and help dry out occasional moisture in the chimney. (How did he know we are candle people?) We've been burning candles since and enjoying the fireplace again. I like that the candle flame is behind the glass doors and away from our cat. Mr. Wickline also helped us understand that the chimney (as part of the house) should be inspected and/or cleaned on a regular basis whether we use the fireplace often or not. Thanks Mr. Wickline!

I'm waiting for the gentleman to put the final piece of the job to be done but I understand it's been an extended weekend. They got high rating on Angie's list. I'm pleased with them, they were very thorough and the contractor really worked with me. I feel like I got a lot of value for my money.

Mr. Wickline replaced my old nearly rusted through galvanized chimney chase cover a new stainless steel model. These things aren't cheap, but I won't have to do it again either though. He came and measured one week and came back the next week after the cover was manufactured and replaced it without a hitch, no mess. Quick repsonse too. Highly recommend the his company and going to the stainless.

He came out for an estimate to make sure that we actually needed the cleaning done. He moved it a few inches and determined that it definitely needed cleaning. He educated me during the cleaning, letting me know what to do and what to look out for. He even updated me on the history of the stove, chimney and what to look out for in other companies. He did an excellent job. He was very knowledgeable and experienced. He left the place clean as well. One thing I loved was that he put a shop vac in the fireplace while he was cleaning it to keep the soot under control.

My impression is that Butch Wickline is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to this line of work. He installed my stove for me many years ago, and I was pleased to be able to get him to return to perform the above services for me. I intend to use him in the future for work on my chimney cap.

I scheduled an appointment on a Tuesday for a Saturday between 12-1. 1 came around and no one had showed up so I checked my voice mail to see if I missed a call saying they would be late. They had called me but not to tell me they were running late but to ask me if they had ever returned my call from Tuesday. I understand this is a busy time of year for chimney cleaning but you need to record your appointments. Needless to say I'm not rescheduling I don't want to waste anymore of my time. *Update* They called me again the next weekend. And since I was playing phone tag with another company I decided to give these guys a chance considering they were able to come out the same day. The guys who came out were very friendly. They laid down a blanket to keep the work area clean. They swept the chimney from inside and were still able to get out a lot of soot. They cleaned up after themselves and wiped down the metal frame to our fireplace.

Excellent service! I called on Tuesday and they were able to come out that day, but I asked them to come on Wednesday. I will definitely use their services again.

EXCELLENT. Stoney takes real pride in his work - regrettably he is a rare exception.

A.H. Wickline repaired the chimney cap on my chimney in 2004. During a recent inspection, another firm showed me that the cap repair material was coming off and was improperly applied. I contacted Mr. Wickline to come and take a look and he never showed or called. I was would have been willing to pay him to redo it since it had been so long. VERY unprofessional.

I think Mr. Wickline only returns calls in the mornings so it sometimes took 24 hrs. to get a return call but overall he communicated clearly on pricing and availability. His sons came out to do the work and were very pleasant to deal with. They recommended a chimney cap but didn't make me feel bad about not wanting to buy their expensive one. They cleaned up after themselves. Overall it was a good experience.

Mr Wickline and his assistants were very professional and knowledgable in fireplace and chimney systems. The work was accomplished over several different periods of time due to the inclement winter weather. All the work was done to high standards with the intent to have the customer satisfied. Mr Wickline's son did an excellent job in cleaning and sweeping the chimney and fireplace with zero mess. Very pleased with all the work.
