A-1 Inc Exterminators

A-1 did a thorough job of finding the ant nests, exterminating existing ants and baiting for any ants that might be hiding. DO call A-1 if you want good service and value.

Everything was done as told it would be done on time both days. Stayed 5 hours 2nd week to do worok. Very friendly explained everything and polite.

Great service from the beginning. No pressure to sign a contract...which I appreciate. We have seen a dramatic decrease in ants and spiders.

When I called them they supposed to come out between 10 and 12pm. They were a little late. I did not want them to spray that day because it was to hot and I have respiration problem. So they came back first thing the nest morning to spray. The technician was very nice.

We just moved to town into a house on the water. We know pests would be a problem so we called A-1 (as they were highly recommended on Angie's List!). The came out next day and thoroughly explained their treatment and the chemicals they'd be using.Their price was right in line with what others reported paying yet much less than expected for a house our size. We signed up for a quarterly service and couldn't be happier with them thus far!

All my experiences with A-1 over the last three years have been highly satisfactory.

They are great. They are dependable and reasonably priced. We live in a wooded area. They came and put extra stuff down. They went above and beyond. They even treated the wooded area behind our house.

They arrived when they were supposed to. I was having a house inspection at the time. I was provided with very little feedback about the whole process so was not impressed. I did not have much time to look into the "best" company since I was on a deadline. Furthermore it was a bit of a hassle getting the inspection report for the closing of the house since the owner was on vacation or something. I wasn't that impressed.

They do an excellent job. They come out right away if I have any problems with pests.

Everyone that I spoke to at this company from the receptionst on the phone to the technicians that came to my home, were courteous and professional. The service they provided me was excellent! I haven't had any problems with termites in my home since. I do not have any problems with service, and they also worked with me on a payment plan.

He was exactly on time for a 8:00 am appointment. He arrived in a company (A-1 Inc. Truck) and was dressed in company clothing. He introduced himself to me and described what he was going to do. He spoke with clear and understandable English. He dressed in coveralls and performed a crawl space inspection followed by an inspection of the exterior. He made a detailed map of the home structure (for his companies records - for future service I think) and provided me with his assessment of his findings. My home was in good shape, but he did say the humidity readings from the wood in the crawl space was at the high end of the acceptable levels. Everyone else that has inspected my property has tried to sell me some sort of mold treatment. He told me the little "pepper" mold he found was normal. I found A-1 from Angie's List and they had a coupon. Normal cost would have been $135. I paid $63.00. A-1 was the best of 3 companies I have used in the last 6 years.

The experience was pleasant from start to finish. The technician Tom arrived early within the service window provided. He was thorough in his work, and clear and professional in his explanation of what he did.

A-1 does my annual termite inspection as well as pest control as needed. They are very professional.

While we have no active termites (GOOD NEWS), he did locate a serious leak coming from the shower valve in the first floor master bath. The leak had unmined the subfloor (BAD NEWS). Hard to say how long that would have gone on had Tom not found the leak.We were extremely impressed with his knowledge and expertice and will recommend A-1 to everyone we know. GREAT JOB!

The technician, was on time, explained what he would do and offered suggestions for the future. He was well informed and very courteous. No high pressure tactics.

We discovered we had rats when our cats began staring at the AC vents on the first floor of our townhome. We could actually hear something skittering inside the metal ducts. A rat had apparently gotten into the ductwork and couldn't get out. It would frantically claw at our vents trying to find a way out! He ended up dying right in front of the vent in our kitchen. (It apparently got trapped in there and couldn't get out!) We had called another company to take care of the problem, but since we didn't hear anymore activity he said our problem was solved. Of course, the following week we head something pulling on our AC filter (the filter vent is at the top of the stairs in the ceiling). This time I decided to call A-1 due to their high ratings on Angie's List. Our technician, Tom, did a fantastic job! He was right on time for the appointment and went into our attics (we have upper and lower attic spaces) to check things out. While he was in there he explained everything he saw and how he'd take care of the issue. There was definitely evidence of rats (droppings, chewed insulation, etc.). He placed baited traps in each attic space and will come back monthly to check the traps and re-bait if necessary. It's going to cost $50 for each monthly check/re-bait, but if it takes care of the problem then it's worth it!

Great, they showed up on time. Finished the inspection in a timely manner and answered any questions that I had.

I'd spent several weeks researching pest control companies in the area. Ultimately, I went with A-1 Inc. because of how well rated they were- and with good reason. He arrived promptly right at the top of the 2-hour window I was given. He was courteous, thorough, and even went beyond what the original service order stated; I thought I had requested external treatment and although it wasn't listed on the work order, the technician treated the exterior of the house as well. He also answered all my questions and didn't mind me observing as he worked. I look forward to calling on them again.
