The service was performed on time, in a professional manner, and at a cost that I feel was extremely fair. Most importantly, it was successful in resolving the ant problem. The technician, Selvyn, explained what he was going to do and why. He also explained what to expect following the service and assured me that my grandchild would not be harmed by the chemicals. He respected my home by covering his shoes and making sure to ask before servicing a room with a closed door. In answer to your question, "How'd it go?", it went Great!

They arrived on time, and explained what the treatment would consist of. Thoroughly inspected premises for termites. Treated for insects on the inside and outside, knocked the webs that had formed. It was a very thorough job.

This went very well. After a previous company failed to correct a termite problem. I contacted A-1. They came in and inspected the house and determined that a treatment needed to be done. They came in and completed this in one day and followed up approx. 90 days later. So far everything has gone well. we look forward to continuing our relation with them.

Everyone was professional, prompt and couteous. However, the inspector didn't have a ladder when he arrived. Apparentlyl I was suposed to tell them they needed to bring a ladder. He offered to come back with a ladder, but upon further questioning, it turns out that unless your attic is finished or has walking boards installed, they can't go up there at all. They just shine the light around and look for signs.

I bought an $89 special for this service last year. I tried to get the same deal this year and they said it was within a year of the first purchase and that they couldn't do it. The first time they came out I would rate them very high. They came out when they said they would and did a great job. The price was right and I had no problems with them at all.

Service was performed properly. I had to purchase 2 packages because my property has 2 structures on it. The company did a follow-up about 6 months later to make sure there were still no termites.

We needed the inspection for a mortgage loan. I was not able to be home when the inspection was conducted, and my wife signed the forms. As it turns out this inspection did not qualify for the type that is needed by the loan officer. Now A-1 wants an extra $95 to get use the "correct VA" forms. If I were running that business, I would do it for free and earn me a long term customer. I am done with this company. Get your service somewhere else.

Excellent Service. The pest control person sprayed for spiders on the front porch and they have not returned. This is our new pest control company.

They perform service annually. The work they did was varied, most of it was an inspection which was a one to two hundred dollar range. I did have some other work done that was around eleven to twelve hundred dollars. It keeps the moisture from coming underneath the house. The price was reasonable. I don't think they could have done anything differently. I've been using them since 2012.

I was very impressed with the company and especially the front office. I had had an awful experience with Terminix, and was very disgusted with how they treated my 85 year old mother, so I was looking to replace them. I told A-1 about what happened, and told them I did not trust termite inspection companies, and that I was not looking forward to working with anyone. They were very understanding, and promised me they would send someone I could trust that was not going to try to sell me OVER PRICED services, and products that I didn't need. They came through with flying colors. They even offered to return in 6 months wihen the humidity wasn't so high to recheck moisture levels at no charge. The six month date came, and they called me. I did not return their calls at first because I was skeptical (Terminix has really damaged my trust in these companies.) that it would really be at no charge. They continued to try to get in touch with me, and even left a message indicating that this was a FREE follow up. I called them back, they rechecked, and once again were very professional, courteous, and kind. I will continue to use this company, and was thrilled to discontinue working with Terminix after a 25+ year relationship with them.

Selwyn was great to work with; very competent and personable. He explained in detail what he would do, what he was doing, and fully answered all our questions. This Provider is HIGHLY recommended.
