Let me preface this review by saying that we used A-1 last year with no problems. That is why we called them again this year for their service. This year, I called again to have them come out to treat an ant problem. They came out with no issues. While the man was here we discussed plans moving forward. He suggested to me the quarterly plan because he said it was cheaper and you were able to call them out in between services at no additional charges, as many times as you needed. He also said to call back if we had any problems within 30 days and they would come back out - no extra charge. I signed up for the quarterly plan based on his recommendation. I called back 3 weeks later because the ants were back. Contrary to what the technician told me - I was told on the phone it was going to be an extra charge because the one time treatment did not cover a follow up treatment. They also told me the the quarterly visit only included 1 treatment in between treatments. There is an obvious communication problem between the technician and the front office. The lady that I spoke to on the phone did not help out in any way or offer any type of solution. I will not be using them moving forward and I have cancelled our quarterly service (which never even started). Do your homework because there are a lot of companies that do offer way better plans than this company.

The gentleman that came out was of the utmost professionalism. My husband and I were very impressed and felt he had done a complete inspection of (even under) our home.

I bought the $73 big deal for a termite inspection and re-treatment warranty. The company responded to me one day after I purchased the deal and provided service two days after that at a time that worked best for my schedule. The inspection was pretty thorough for a slab house like mine, taking about 15-20 minutes. Afterwards, the technician provided me a certificate indicating my house was termite-free and under their warranty protection for the next year. Overall, a great experience at a great value, and now I have peace of mind. I would recommend their services.

We have been a customer of this company for a couple of years and also have a yearly contract for pest control and a termite warranty with them. When they came for the annual termite inspection, they checked the subfloor and beams (in the crawl space) for moisture. Although no evidence of termite damage or activity, we have been monitoring the moisture in the wooden framing for a few years and this time it was high, too high, so we agreed to installing a poly moisture barrier over the dirt in the crawl space. I had been reluctant to do this in past because of a large porch with a deck type floor allowing water to go under the house from rain. After expressing my concerns about effective moisture control with the AI folks, they assured me that this I agreed to this work. The price was reasonable, based on another estimate I had received from a national chain pest control company. I left that company a few years ago because they were unable to control a rodent problem. A1 was successful and continues to be effective. We see the same technician for all quarterly visits, and inspections. He is competent, pleasant and knows what he is doing. He effectively solved the rodent issue and I believe that the moisture issue will now be solved as well. I remain impressed with the integrity and professional work of A1 particularly when compared to the previous pest control company we had employed.

He showed up 5 minutes before he was supposed to arrive (awesome!) and let us know first hand that it was a gel he was spraying that is odorless and wouldn't harm our 5 month old baby. He sprayed around our kitchen, then went outside and sprayed around the condo. He finished after about 30 minutes, we paid him and he was off. Like I said before, we haven't seen an ant since!

The inspection went well. Overall we were happy with the service.

I thought I was impressed with the guy that came out to assess the project. He was quick to point the possibility of termites in my door frame and did a complete inspection of the house crawl space and foundations. He was courteous and professional. He explained that he could give me a quote for the termite treatment but would have to be updated after the door frame was removed. I talked to a couple of firms and decided on this one. The carpenter who came out to check the door frame found that it had been infested and gave me a good price to remove the frame and the studs that were infested and to replace and realign the door and paint the door frame. The team t\hat did the termite treatment did a professional and complete job including grilling holes thru the concrete at the front porch and at the sidewalk adjacent to the garage wall.. They were on time and prompt and courteous.

Originally called A1 Inc for termite inspection but the little flying bugs turned out to be ants. The technician treated the outside and inside of my house to get rid of the ants. I am very happy with the service and plan on using them in the future.

I hired A1 for a home termite and moisture inspection for a home purchase. They had quite a number of good reviews so I figured why not. Two men showed up on time, about 15 min early actually, and quickly got to work measuring the exterior of the property. They did a quick inspection of the foundatation (visual, knocking here and there) and then moved inside. The inspection took roughly 15 minutes and consisted of knocking on some baseboards with a flashlight and/or their boots. They quickly checked some cabinets and were ready for the check and to be done. I have never had an inspection done for this type of work before but I didn't really see any value in it.

Wonderfully, ... great work ethic, timely, pleasant, ... continuing contract with them.

The man who came out was very prompt and professional. As promised, they called 6 months later for the follow-up appt ( I had completely forgotten about it.) A nice experience overall!

It turned out well and we'll probably hire them again after my contract expires. I moved into a new home and bought the big deal for peace of mind. They come about every 6 mos.

I purchased a $79 Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it was fine. I spent about $73 each for a couple of additional things they did. They were pretty good and the price was good. They did what they said they were going to do, but it is hard to tell if what they did worked because I don't go down in the crawl space. Their response was good; I was the one who was slow to react. They were pretty professional.

The visit went very well. We will be doing business with this company in the future and highly recommend there services. Very professional and helpful.

Thrilled! Called A-1 after being dissatisfied with another provider after 4 years! I was given an immediate appointment and Rick showed up on time. He explained the service and went right to work. I asked about the need for additional pest control services and he provided very helpful information about the services that I might consider going forward. In the end, this one visit will save me a lot of money!

They came out to do the inspection and I do have termites and I need a whole treatment which wasn't covered in the deal. They were wonderful to work with and I am using them for my treatment.

Tom from A1 came out on time and explained what treatments he was using and why. He found termite tunnels in my garage and explained necessary treatment. He was very thorough and empathic about the expense. I will continue to use A1 for all my pest issues because of their honesty and desire to help while keeping expensive treatments to a minimum.

Two men worked most of the day treating and inspecting my home for termites. As I expected, I had active termites, but after the 90 day follow up February, I no longer had any signs or evidence of active termites. The agents over the phone were great. The specialists that came to my home were all courteous, professional, informative, and prompt. As a spouse of a forward deployed Navy service-member, I was happy to pay their prices to ensure I had no more issues. However, I recently learned that after their last service call, they were not thorough and may have in fact been deceitful. We began having issues with mice and waterbugs again. I suspected there might have been a hole behind the stove. I asked my husband, who was actually home for once, to check it out. When he pulled it back, he noticed the hole was behind the sink cabinets. He then pulled the dishwaher out, and what we found was alarming. There was a hole about 18 inches tall that ran the entire length of that wall behind the sink. This is something that would have been easily visible to anyone who had been in our crawlspace or when looking at the pipes from the sink. My husband did find signs of the poison they told me they had spread, but the specialist only plugged the hole that I could see from the sink which was only 6 inches in diameter. We discovered this just before we had a scheduled termite service from them. I cancelled it and will do no further business with this company. I recommend that any person able to do a thorough inspection of their work, do so before paying. Additionally, I will not recommend them any longer.

They were quick and thorough. Their regular prices are not that bad as well. They did not take long to set up an appointment and come out. They were right in time and the young man who came out was very good. They did a fine job.
