Well, excellent contact throughout process wtih office. Were helpful in explaining services to me regarding moisture barrier and other services. Followed up when they promised without having to be contacted.

Everything went as scheduled and exceeded all expectations. I really appreciated the detailed report including digital pictures. I plan on having them back out to condition the crawlspace.

They came out and did an inspection for treatment and gave me an estimate. Their estimate was the highest of 3 that I have gotten. They were prompt and friendly.

They did an okay job. They were reasonable and did what they needed to do. I saved some money with the Big Deal. The scheduling was perfect and they got the job done in about 20-30 minutes.

The technician was on time and very professional. I would recommend this company to my friends.

Inspection and the overall process went smoothly. The technician was on time and got right to work. After he completed the inspection he took time to explain his findings as well as options for further follow-on inspections to ensure we remained termite free.

Late due to traffic - no big deal. It happens in this area. Was professional, courteous and offered suggestions and guidance on moisture under house. Would definitely use again.

The technician arrived on the morning of the scheduled date and provided a thorough inspection of the premises, a riverside condominium, that we closed on at the end of June 2014. His inspection was conducted as a verification of an inspection performed at the Seller's expense. A-1 Inc Exterminators provided us peace of mind that the property was free of termite evidence and the cost of their inspection also included one year of follow-on service as required. I highly recommend this provider to residents of the Hampton Roads area.

The person was on time and very nice. He have is options to get the mostire out from under the house. The suggestions were cost effective and honest.

The special said spider webs would be cleaned from the windows and a spray to prevent future spider webs would be applied. The guy was done by the time I got home so I couldn't even see what he had done. I only saw the spider webs still around two windows so I knew they hadn't been cleaned. All in all it was a good deal but they lost any future business when I saw they had not done all that was promised.

The inspection was complete with no sign of termites.

It went well. Did not realized it was only an outdoor treatment and inspection and I had to pay extra for indoor treatment. He was professional and thorough.

The advertised deal was ambiguous and did not include actual termite treatment. Company advised they could not treat for termites and issue a termite letter for this deal, which is the only reason I purchased it.

When I called to schedule an appointment for a termite treatment it was never explained to me the deal was only for a pest treatment. When the rep came out and told me what he was scheduled to do for us, I asked him for a quote on the termite treatment and he said it would be about $1100.00! When I questioned him about the wording in the ad, he agreed it was a bit misleading. The Big Deal reads; "$99 Termite/Pest Inspection & Treatment - Plus Re-Treatment Warranty and More" Further in the review it states: Complete exterior pest treatment on foundation for general pests (such as ants, beetles, roaches, crickets, ticks, Black Widow and Brown Recluse spiders, etc.) with Termidor (WHICH IS USED TO TREAT TERMITES) Here's the (partial) Deal: Checking for active termites in or on your home and also for evidence of inactive termite infestations Inspection also includes evaluating possible troublesome conditions conducive to termite and general pest problems such as: ........... No charge One Year Termite Protection and Re-treatment Warranty if home qualifies at conclusion of inspection which includes: 1) Annual Inspection 2) No charge re-inspections when termite activity is suspected 3) No charge termite treatment to infested areas when termites are found to be active in or on the structure The Home Pest Advantage Plan is renewable each year at $239. This ad is totaling misleading and it does lead one to believe this does include a termite treatment. There should be in Big Bold letters that IT DOES NOT INCLUDE TREATMENT FOR TERMITES. THIS IS WILL BE AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE. I am very disappointed with this company and Angie's List for backing this ad. This is simply a way for this company to get into my home and sell me on additional services. Please note, the rep that came out was very nice and professional, I am not badmouthing him, he was just doing his job, my beef is with A-1 and the add they put out and Angies List for putting this misleading ad out there.

I wasn't impressed with them at all. They merely confirmed what I already knew about the termite situation, and their treatment wasn't entirely effective agains the ants. Ultimately, I hired another company for a much lower cost to successfully treat the termite situation which also took care of the ants.

Dave3 did a very thorough job, explained each step, and made reasonable recommendations, which i plan to adopt on a phased in basis.

It went fine. I didn't meet them but they did a good job. Their responsiveness was very good.

Went extremely well. Appt was made for morning, and I missed them (due to Dr appt). They were there before 8:30, which was around the time I got home. They left a "missed you" hanger on the door, and I called them as soon as I got home. Heather was the person I spoke with, and explained the situation. She checked, but the technician had already left the area. She apologized (several times) and said she thinks (but can not confirm) the technician may be able to "fit me in" later in the day, and she would keep in contact with me through-out the day. As this was my fault (was not home), I appreciated that kind of response. Just after 10am, I got a call from Heather letting me know that the technician could be there in about 30 minutes, and asked me if that would work / be ok with me! (Asked, not 'told' me - WOW!) The technician arrived on time, and was nothing less then awesome. Tim (the tech) "did his thing", and surprised (and exceeded our expectations)! Of note, the last termite folks we had did a look around (standard inside garage, separate building and crawl space). Typical "termite inspection" took around 15-20 minutes. I need to tell you, A1's Tim took his time, explained what he was doing (and looking for). So after about 45 minutes, I followed him to his truck (expecting to sign some paperwork), when he advised me he "wasn't done yet"! (Did I say WOW?) As he started unreeling a hose, I asked and he let me know that part of the service was a foundation treatment. (I don't pretend to know what that means, but he went completely around and sprayed the foundation of the house.) He mentioned this would help with termites & ants. - Cool! OK, at this point I really though he was done - but not yet! He came out with what looked like a big duster (a fuzzy thing, about twice the size of a softball) and was spraying it with something (Web out?)... As he continued, I walked with him as he went around every door and window, spraying the stuff on the duster and clearing all the cobwebs. OK, How many times can I say - WOW!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND A-1 Inc Exterminators - A VERY Happy customer...

The exterminator was punctual and thorough. He answered all my questions, and explained the different services available. I plan to contract this company for pest services in the near future.

It went okay. They sent one tech out to do the inspection & he worked outside. He was punctual to our appointment. They didn't have to return - I haven't seen any termites since they came.

I have been using A-1 for the last few years and they have been great. Our neighborhood had a rat/mouse problem last winter and they were very quick to come by and take care of it for us. The price is always good and they are very professional on the phone and when they arrive.
