We are a heating, air conditioning, plumbing and electrical contracting company serving the custom residential, light commercial, new construction, renovation and commercial markets in the Central Virgina Area. We have a Residential and Commercial Service department providing 24-hour emergency service for your heating, air conditioning, plumbing, and electical requirements. We offer a variety of Service Agreements for your Heating, Air Conditioning, Plumbing and Electrical needs. Our goal with these services is to improve your comfort level and reduce your operating costs. To be successful, we rely on the talents of our employees and their commitment to deliver a project that equals or exceeds the expectations of the customer and end user. This is achieved through teamwork, diligence, creative ideas, mutual respect for all participants, on-going training, development, and continuous evaluation of our success or failure at meeting these goals. To assure that we fulfill these commitments, we will attempt to provide the necessary financial resources for personal and corporate growth, expansion, and the utilization/integration of the latest technologies of our industry into the normal operations of our business. Description of Work: Installed 1 bath faucet and 1 kitchen faucet, faucets provided by us. We thought the cost was exorbitant but we were committed to paying them $69.95 for coming out and telling us the cost, it was getting close to Christmas and we needed the faucets fixed. We had not used a plumber for a while but we were very stupid to go along with this and still bothered by it. We chose Brown because they are an old co. and we thought we could rely on them.

Description of Work: I have had a maintenance contract with W. W. Brown since I bought my house in 1998. They come twice a year and inspect my air conditioning and furnace and also provide electrical and plumbing services as needed. They are AWESOME, knowledgeable, and always provide quality services.

Description of Work: The last service was for our fall heat pump maintenance and system checkup. I have used W E. Brown for over fifteen years. They installed two replacement heat pumps in our home over the years. They have always been very good at determining any problems and finding solutions. If the technician can not find a solution they called in technical help from the manufacture. They are the best in Charlottesville!

Description of Work: Installed a Mitsubishi Ductless system with two units in the basement. | |Excellent work with them and they were very competitive in price. | |Install was pretty difficult since they had to run up and over the garage and then down into the basement.

I had a hard time getting a hold of someone to do the estimate (I had to call twice) and the estimate was delivered two days later than the estimator had said it would be without all the information we had asked for. Went with another contractor

Excellent. When I called, the person who answered the telephone was knowledgeable, forthcoming and provided me with price information which helped me make an on the spot decision. This person was also able to schedule an appointment within a couple of days. The Electrician who performed the actual work was timely, knowledgeable, efficient, and personable. He also provided me with additional services offered by W. E. Brown, Inc. without being over bearing. Both switches have been working extremley well since their installation.
Description of Work: Installed a timer switch for a blower fan on a fireplace and a dimmer switch for an outside porch light.
