+ -1 moreTerry is the consummate professional. I have known him for years, from when he worked for another locksmith before he started his own business. He is pleasant, knowledgeable,honest and very good at what he does. He came the same day we called him (our lock on the front door broke and we were locked out of our house!) and made a temporary fix. He then came promptly at the scheduled time, installed the new lock, cleaned up and was on his way. You won't find a better, more ethical locksmith in Charlottesville who happens to be a really nice guy. Highly recommended!

+ -1 moreI needed all the exterior doors to my house rekeyed. Terry of The Lock Doctor came out on a Saturday. Our house is in the woods on a gravel road surrounded by farmland. Basically in the middle of nowhere. The cellular service is bad and it is hard to get good GPS/navigation directions to our location. He was right on time for the appointment. He asked for an original key, asked what doors were to be rekeyed, how many copies of keys we needed and got right to work. He rekeyed 3 Locks total, in 20 minutes. He takes credit cards or checks onsite. Terry was very professional and courteous. A very painless experience.
