It was fine. He initially was out of town and that was okay but he did get back to me as soon as he was back in town. I live out in the country and he was willing to come out to where I am. He did the job well and quickly and as advertised. I didn't need 4 locks, I just needed 3. Everything worked fine. I would recommend him to someone else. After, all the work was done....and the Lock Doctor was gone there was just one key that would not work for me in one of the door locks. I called the Lock Doctor, and he came the very next day and readjusted the one key and did not charge me anything extra for his work or time. I am so appreciative of his professionalism and helpfulness in responding to my needs so very quickly and at such a great price! We purchased the $99 deal expecting to have to pay a little extra since we were having all the locks changed in a house we just bought. He got back to us right away and was able to come the morning we needed him. He arrived right on time and got straight to work (with little help from us since we had several contractors there at once and were quite distracted). He asked how many keys we needed and made sure they all worked before he left. He didn't charge more than the $99 even though he could have based on the number of locks he had to change.

Initially signed up for the 4 locks rekeyed offer. We called the Lock Doctor and let him know there would be additional work on the door locks and a new one for the front door. He let us know he could do all that we wanted to be done. Set a date for the work and he was there on time. He makes installing dead bolt locks look easy, works fast and is very meticulous. Made sure everything worked it should. We would contact him for any future door lock or door handle work that we want done. We now have all doors keyed the same and a great looking front door handle and keyed dead bolt lock.

First of all I called Terry (the Lock Doctor) for advice on what kind of replacement hardware to buy. I told him I'd hire him to do the work, but he had no way of knowing that I'd actually follow through on my promise. Nonetheless, he gave me some valuable advice. Then when I came out of Lowes with my purchase and saw The Lock Doctor truck, and Terry in it, in the parking lot, I went over, introduced myself, and asked if he'd look over my purchases. He did, and pointed out that although it had not been noticeable in the store, it would be noticeable on an external door that the two pieces had somewhat different finishes. I exchanged one of them. It took an email and a follow-up phone call to set an appointment for installation, for which Terry apologized profusely. He arrived to do the job precisely on time, was friendly and personable, and given what I'd paid locksmiths before, charged a reasonable amount. He even looked at a very old lock on another door and recommended a place in the area that might be able to help with getting a replacement. If I need locksmith services in the future, The Lock Doctor would be my very first choice. I recommend him highly.
