RooterMan of Virginia

The service technician first had to find the tank which proved to be difficult. He found it and dug down to gain access. He did a good job took the time to do it correctly. The tank was not marked on my site plans so it took longer to find. My only issue would be that some sort of chemical deodorant materiel had leaked on to my driveway when he was removing the pipe fro the tank truck and stained my driveway with an oily stain, which I have not been able to clean off.

Provider came same day (late Friday) to stop overflow and stabilize the system. Then came the following Monday, in spite of the rain, to do a complete reconditioning of the system, including jet cleaning of the drain field and new pipes and connections to replace old orangeberg fittings. Provider also took a lot of time to explain the work and give directions for keeping it in good condition.

Remarkably quick. Called at 8:05am, and Kenny arrived at 8:45. He dug out the lid, pumped it clean, added the bacteria needed and sealed it up in about 90 minutes. As I watched, he told me step by step what he was doing and answered all my questions. Thanks

I was absolutely shocked when handled a bill of $325. for a very simple 1/2 hr repair at my home. I will definitely NOT call them again. In addition, I am also a property manager, and the owner of the property has recently requested I no longer use Rooterman either because of their very inflated prices. I have learned from this costly repair, and I caution anyone with a tight budget to use them. They obviously like gouging people and I can only guess it is to pay for the overhead of a large company. There are plenty of smaller or individual plumbers who can tackle the job for considerably less.

Jessica, office manager, called me to confirm my appointment. She also called me the morning of the appointment to tell me that the technicians were on their way. Chris and Joe (Technicians) were both very professional and did an amazing job at clearing out the main line and inspecting the septic tank. I will continue to use Roerman of Virginia when needed. I originally had a negative review, but Chris with the company had amazing follow up and I wanted to change my review based on that.

They were great. Answered my call right away and had someone here within a few hours. Worked along side the guys doing the water mitigation. Cleared away all the debris and installed new tank with pan & drain (that would have prevented the problem in the first place!). I think the price was fair but I've never bought a new hot water tank before so don't really know cost.

The upside to Rooterman is that they are very timely, and did a great job figuring out the best way to fix the problem. The downside is that they charge $125 an hour. That includes the time to drive to your house, look around, talk with you about the problem, drive to the store to pick up parts, install, clean up, etc. I would never have agreed to this fix, but I was in a real bind and had to leave town the next morning. So, I had no choice. You will get dependable and professional service, but be prepared to pay.

The repairman (Robert) was very knowledgeable and fast with the repair. He gave me details of everything he did including the camera visuals. A very nice and polite man who was professional throughout. I was very pleased with this service. And had a warranty

BACKS UP THEIR WORK I just bought a house, and most of the drains were a little slow to clear. After the inspection, it looked like two drains were in real need of the treatment (hallway and basement), so I went ahead with the service and had a garbage disposal installed. A few hours after the work was completed, the master bathroom shower drain started backing up. I wasn't aware that RooterMan offered a warranty on their work, so I posted a negative review on Angie's List, indicating they were tardy and did not finish the job. Within a day of the posting, Chris made a valiant effort to reach out to me so they could resolve the problem. At no additional charge, they sent someone out that afternoon to snake the master bathroom. I also have to acknowledge an error on my part. I originally posted that their service man was tardy to the appointment. After speaking with Chris, the GPS on the service truck indicated that their man arrived at 8:45 to a 9:00am appointment. So, I checked my planner, and realized that it was different contractor that missed their appointment window. RooterMan delivered on all their promises and went the extra mile to make sure that I was pleased with their work. Other companies may offer cut rate pricing, but I would rather have the peace of mind knowing that RooterMan stands behind their work. I would recommend this company and use them again in the future.

Honest, Professional, and they BACK UP THEIR WORK. I usually dont write reviews but I felt I needed to because of RooterMans outstanding service. These guys are not all about making money, they are about doing a good job for their customers and leaving them happy. I will most certainly use Rooterman for any future plumbing or drain needs and you should also. Don't bother with anyone else, these guys will take care of you and most of all they will BE HONEST and FAIR!

We had a slow leak in a wall that could have been approached in a couple ways. Our plumber responded very quickly and came out within a short period of time on a Sunday night, and gave us some options for the problem at hand. Within 1.5 hours, he had removed part of the wall, fitted a copper pipe (due to proximity to a radiator) and cleaned up after himself. We appreciated his communication throughout the process and the relatively quick fix, as well as his professionalism and courtesy. He cleaned up very nicely after himself, and provided some advice on potential future projects since our house is a bit older, which we appreciated. Though we paid extra for emergency service, we had the peace of mind of having a potentially damaging problem fixed with minimal wall removal. We definitely think our plumber did the best possible job under the circumstances, and we felt that he had integrity and professionalism that we look for in our contractors. We would definitely call on this company again for plumbing jobs. We might use our regular plumber for bigger jobs simply due to price, but RooterMan would be our second choice, and top choice for emergencies. We really appreciated the service Rooter Man provided and would definitely call them again!

He was on the road to my house before the answering service finished my call. He wore shoe covers over his shoes and placed plastic on the floors he would be working near. Took awhile to get the snake to go around the pipe bends. When all was done he put an enzyme treatment into the pipe to help break down anymore debris. Treatment lasts a month. He also made sure everything was spotless before he left which means tub, floors and even our home plunger were cleaned. Would DEFINITELY have RooterMan fix our plumbing again.

They were awesome. I cannot say enough nice things about them. First of all they came out really promptly and did an assessment. And the guy spent a lot, a lot of time with me. They came out a couple days later, because I think we had a lot of snow, and he checked at the meter. It wasn't at the meter so he checked at the house. It wasn't at the house. He checked a couple of feet from the house and found that there was a kink in the pipe at that point and just replaced that. So instead of people giving me $7,000 quotes, it was a fraction of the cost. They had three people, the supervisor and two workmen, all morning. The supervisor left and the two guys did the rest of the work. Because it was so snowy, it was really muddy in the yard. They were apologizing about that to the point that one of the workmen came on his own and put grass seed down and straw in the yard. They went above and beyond and spent so much time with us that the charge was really minimal. I felt they really knew what they were talking about. I felt they were really interested in fixing the problem instead of just going in and charging a lot of money. I felt like everything, promptness, professionalism, the work, cleanup; in fact, afterwards we had to give a report to the water company so they'd give us a refund on the water that had been lost. They had a hand written report and it was originally hard to read so they typed up the whole report and sent that to us. Just incredible! I can't say enough. The problem is absolutely fixed.

As expensive as that sounds, they were the cheapest. they were on time and it works great.

I spoke to their service manager on Friday. I expected a call Monday because by the time, I thought I determined what I needed, it was already late Friday afternoon. Chris, the Service Manager called me back. He recommended that they come out and determine the problem instead of telling me something erroneous over the phone. I appreciated their promptness and honesty; moreover, me not wondering over the weekend if I would have to delay this project. I scheduled the visit for Tuesday with no problem.It went very well. I researched my topic and saw videos on how to do the work (we thought) needed. Robert Harvey, our plumber, went through the steps-textbook. He followed all the procedures (and more because he is a professional) that we would have followed had we opened-up a book and went about figuring out the problem. I was very happy about him being methodical. While determining the water pressure, he discovered that we damaged our outside faucet ( we left the hose attached for part of the winter).Once he determined the course of action, he gave me an estimate. He fixed it all in one day. Just a couple of hours. Very hard worker. He encountered a plastic valve and he replaced it with a brass fitting.He also gave me an estimate for fixing the faucet which I will schedule along with pumping-out the septic tank.Robert was very professional, he honored the Angie's list coupon. I also have to say, that I asked a lot of questions. I didn't hover, but I want to learn what is being done in my house. Robert was patient and explained everything very well. He also gave me his card, in case my husband, or I have questions later on. They also guarantee their work.So far, so good. When I have them do the next repair, I will update on how this one is working, but I am having them come back.

I woke up to standing water around a drain in my basement and another just outside the basement door. I called my usual plumber and he was out of town. I then contacted Rooterman of VA and they were at my home within the hour. Chris was very professional, courteous and did an excellent job unclogging the drain. (Its been a few days and I've not experienced any water issues.) He even went so far as to fully clean up the dirt/mess from the water. Truly above and beyond. Great price with the Angie's List Member special. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again or refer to friends. Thanks for the great service.

They haven't come out yet, but as soon as I get word from the warranty folks, I will be contacting RooterMan to come do the work.

I was able to get someone there that day and they came with all they needed to repair the problem. It was one of the coldest day of the year. It was slightly more than I expected to pay but was glad to have water back by 1:00 that day

Great! I would highly recommend Rooterman to my friends. I had a leak 2 weeks ago from a toilet, and they were able to come in a short time period and fixed that issue quickly. I called yesterday to get a quote to replace our old hot water heater, and today I have it installed and running. They also saw and repaired issues with old supply lines and upgraded them as needed. Pricing was from printed lists that were clear and concise. They were professional, friendly, and I was impressed by their knowledge. They will be my "go to" company for plumbing from now on.

It was okay and they used their high pressure hoses to blow drain pipes. I was not here when they did the work, but my husband was. Scheduling was fine, but we had to work it out with the gutter company too. They did well with working with another company. They came out, took a look and gave me the estimate before they did the work. They didn't make it clear where the end of the pipes ended and it would have been nice if they would have indicated that for us. But the pipes are working fine after they did their work.

It turned out wonderfully. I called a plumber about a problem that I had, and they said that I needed to replace a sewer line. That was going to run me about $8000. So I called Rooter-Man and they came in with their camera and gave me a different option. They let me know that there were roots in the draining line. His solution was to clean the roots out and use a treatment that would require repeated treatments, so that would prevent the roots from growing again. It would only cost me $600- $800. I called them up and they came out the next day. They came out and treated that for me. They didn’t leave a mess and solved the issue in a timely manner.

They are trustworthy; the service was done at our vacation house when we were not there. It was a pretty big job. They did exactly what they said they were supposed to do. Scheduling was good; they came out within a week of two after my call and arrived on time for the appointment.

It was an emmergency call, it took them two calls before they came out. They were able to come out the same day and complete the service. I was impressed with their responsiveness and felt they did a great job.
