The estimate was competitive and they had good quality cabinets to choose from. In the end, we went with another contractor who had a slightly higher bid, but had a cabinet design we liked better and who seemed a bit more knowledgeable on the actual work (for example, about the need to anchor the island).

Virginia Kitchen and Bath We attended the January Home and Garden Expo event, as we were planning a major kitchen renovation. Once there, we spoke with quite a few home remodel companies. We were particularly taken with Leon of Virgina Kitchen and Bath, so we gave him our contact information. We had already had one kitchen design drawn up for us, and it was essentially the identical kitchen we had, just newer. When Leon came over to look at our kitchen, the first thing he said was, ?Let?s move the kitchen sink over here so you can capitalize on the view.? It was a fantastic idea, and we never would have thought of it. He drew up detailed design plans and we signed a contract. His idea is truly what made the kitchen spectacular. I was impressed with every one of the tradesmen who worked with Virginia Kitchen and Bath. Kamal helped us finalize all of our choices (we switched to a different style cabinet after our initial choice), and Hakan oversaw all the work. Everyone who came worked very hard and did an excellent job. They carefully sealed off areas of the house so the dust and dirt would not spread. They were extremely neat at days' end with the cleanup. They worked long hours ? staying through the dinner hour at times. This worked for us since it is just my husband and me. When our children were younger, we probably would have had to end the days a little earlier, though. It was a large project (for us), and went about as painlessly as possible. The final result is perfect.

The workers arrived on time each day, did their best to minimize the mess and cleaned up each evening before they left. There were some communication issues since we do not speak Spanish but Kemal was always available to answer questions and address any issues that came up. Design work was provided, but it is helpful to find pictures/examples to ensure the project is done correctly. The Powder Room took a little over a week and the Master Bath took close to 4 weeks. All of the existing tile and fixtures were removed. In the Master Bath we now have 12" tile halfway up the wall with a decorative 3" inch strip, a niche in the shower and by the tub, we used different size tile for the floor (18x18) and the shower floor was fixed so it would drain better, lights were replaced, new vanity with drawers, granite vanity top, and a full wall made into a half wall between the tub and toilet. We are really very pleased with both bathrooms and it was something we have wanted to do for a long time. Remodeling is a tough thing to live through and it never seems like the house will be whole again. It is really important to ensure the job is going as expected and make a phone call as soon as you have a concern.

The workers were punctual and were very good about cleaning up when they left the job site. They were responsive to questions and worked at a steady pace. The job was delayed a few times due to errors in ordering of supplies but over all we were very pleased with the job. Their prices were certainly competitive and resonable. We would use them again.

I visited the store and set up an appointment for an estimate for this job. I then called and moved the appointment forward 3 days and they were very accomodating. Kemal showed up on time and was here for about an hour taking measurements and talking about possibilities. He sent me an estimate by email and I called and arranged an appointment to meet with him in the store to select granite color, cabinet style and color, floor color and hardware. Signed the contract and a week later the first team of workmen appeared at my door at 8:00 am. They arrived every work day, including Saturdays, at 8:00 am and were here until that day's job was finished. There was a different crew for each job and each crew was very hardworking and efficient. They layed drop cloths down each day and vacuumed before leaving each evening. The work crews asked questions of me to make sure the job was being done the way I wanted it and were very respectful of me and my house. If there were any problems communicating, all I had to do was call Kemal or Hakan and there were here to solve the problem. Two weeks was all it took to transform my kitchen into a beautiful, functional kitchen. They even let me add an extra job after the contract was signed, and priced it very reasonably. I was not happy with the condition of the floor at the end and Kemal had a man here to clean the floor and by the time he left, my new kitchen was perfect. All the work was very professional and I would highly recommend Virginia Kitchen and Bath!

The construction phase, although highly intrusive due to the magnitude of the project we were informed and on board with any revisions.

I tried to contact Virginia Kitchen and Bath via their Web site, and received no response for a while. It turns out, it was likely a technical error, and the company did everything they could to get a hold of me after they read an initial review on Angie s list. They have since shown up at my house, and are working on an estimate now.

We got several estimates from different companies to completely demolish and remodel 3 full baths in our house. Virginia Kitchen & Bath (VKB) provided us the lowest estimate by far on all 3 bathrooms. Their estimate was about $20,000 lower than the next lowest. (Yes $20,000 lower). So we decided to give them a chance by first letting them do the smallest and least used of the 3 bathrooms to verify the quality of their work. This bathroom (off the mudroom) would be the easiest to do, since the shower, toilet, and sink locations stayed relatively in the same place. The remodel of this bathroom included new tiled shower (with new glass door) installed, new tiled floor, new vanity (with granite countertop), new tiolet, and new lights were installed. (And of course, new fixtures throughtout the bathroom). It turned out beautifully. They did such an excellect job, that we had them start on the other two bathrooms (master and hall bath) immediately. These second 2 bathrooms shared a common wall, so they had to be done together, as we wanted to make one (the master bath) bigger, and the hall bath a little smaller (so that common wall between the two had to be moved). Furthermore, we wanted major changes in both bathrooms. I drew out the basic layout of how we wanted to change the 2 bathrooms, and VKB made it happen. For the Master bath, we wanted a separate tiolet room created with a pocket door, a cabinet installed above the toilet, with a separate light switch, and vent fan. New dual vanity cabinets with a drawer cabinet in the middle were installed. A granite countertop (with dual sinks), full wall mirror, additional electrical outlets, vanity and ceilings lights were installed. Along with a new oversized shower, with 2 walled beautifully tiled, and 2 clear glass walls (with a glass door). For the Hall bath, they did everything as oulined above was completed in excellent fashion. And again these 2 bathrooms turned out beautifully. And better than we had imagined. We couldn't have asked for anything more. VBK also did the following: hung plastic sheeting to keep dust from getting to other parts of the house. Put down matting, and cloth over the floors to prevent them from getting dirty. Cleaned up each and every day before leaving for the day. They were very polite and respectful. And were quick to address anything, and everything we asked for. They were a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend them. Leroy & Gail

After shopping around several vendors and getting several competitive quotes, VKB came in at the best pricing for the services we would be receiving during our kitchen remodel. We had a complete remodel including cabinets, granite, tile and recessed lighting. We were originally quoted that the project would take at most 21 days, but it ended up only taking 9; and everything looked amazing when completed! Any issues or challenges that came up during the job were quickly discussed and corrected. We are very proud of our new kitchen and would use VKB again for another remodel in the future.

The gentlemen who came to the house was very knowledgeable. It was not the right time for me and I was not ready to start the service. The offer expired and now I am looking for another company. The estimate was okay. I also decided to buy material on my own. There was something was not included in the quote. When they gave me the estimate there was no mention of the endorsement of the top itself. It was kind of unofficial. They were very nice and were on time.

We received a few quotes for our kitchen remodel and Virginia Kitchen and Bath definitely gave us the best quote with regards to time and price. Even with the upgrades we chose, we were still happy with the price and a friend's recommendation was huge. Our sales person/project manager was Panah. He was fantastic to work with. We've had other home projects done where we never saw who was in charge. Panah visited us everyday and kept us updated on the progress of the project as far as to what was going to happen the following day. Communication is key. He was quick to respond to emails and phone calls. They finished the project in less time than we expected without taking shortcuts! We had a lot of questions do to our inexperience with kitchen remodels and Panah and his crew were able to answer all of our concerns to our satisfaction. We plan on rehiring them to do a bit more work in our home. We had a much more pleasant experience than we anticipated. Panah really went above and beyond to make us happy.

Very good experience - The 2 men worked from before 8 am until after 5 every day and always cleaned up before they left every evening. Can not say enough good things about them

We started this process by getting three different quotes from three different Angie's list vendors. We visited all their show room. Mr.Kamel from the Virginia Kitchen and Bath visited our house for measurement. He gave us a estimate on the same day by email. It was a competitive price. Then we visited their show room for cabinet and granite selection. Mr.Kamel helped us designing the kitchen and made very nice suggestions. We signed the contract with in a week. When we signed the contract Mr.Kamel gave us a estimated time frame for completion of the project. He stayed on his schedule from start to end. His crew demonstrated complete professionalism. They have top notch granite, cabinet crew. At the end of the project we had some minor issues, Mr.Kamel was very quick in fixing them. We are very happy with this team, we are planning to use them for our bathroom remodel in near future.

They were very nice and easy to work with. The show room is also very nice. We would consider using them again in the future.

The project actually began about a month earlier than originally scheduled, which was a nice surprise. Demolition of the old bathroom and installation of new cement board went according to plan, though a missing niche in the shower was changed to four corner shelves (a fair swap). Installation of colored accent tile was not initially done outside the shower area on the long, side wall, as planned, but I caught the matter and worked with Kemal to ensure a good solution. Installation of a new customer-purchased lighting fixture in a second bathroom was a "make-good" for a small ceiling light directly below the bathroom that was damaged by vibrations during demolition. The entire project was completed within the anticipated 7-10 day window. Any minor miscommunications between VKB and its contractor were addressed satisfactorily. Other than a shower curtain bar installed a few inches too high, we are pleased with the job.

Virginia Kitchen and Bath (VKB) did a good job estimating and coming up with a usable design plan. The biggest issues that we faced we're mainly condo building related. Our condo has strict delivery and construction policies and VKB did a good job working around the condo staff, which, at times could be very challenging. All issues in the field such as cabinet, reordering, or measurement issues, were taken care of without a fuss and their designer and site supervisors were there on the premises multiple times to ensure that things went as smooth as they could. Panah, the designer and estimator, came multiple times to offer insight and even brought extra tile samples for backsplashes to help make the selection choices easier. Having a head office guy there definitely made us feel like they cared that the project turn out the way it was originally planned to and not left solely to the workers in the field when issues arose. We are definitely considering using them again for another project at another house in Arlington.

From start to finish the experience with Virginia Kitchen and Bath was excellent. We are very happy with our new Kitchen, two master bathrooms and were very, very satisfied with our experience with Virginia Kitchen and Bath. I worked with Kemal for the design and he did a terrific job coming up with a design that was perfect for me. He was very responsive throughout the entire process and was completely professional. Team was professional and punctual and there were no issues taking care of minor changes as they came up. Overall, I am very pleased with my experience with the company and would definitely work with them again.

Overall the job went well. Our project manager, Kemal, was attentive, easy to communicate with, professional, friendly and courteous. 1. Cabinets....I do believe the cabinets were a lesser quality grade than I would have chosen if I studied them more closely. I was not happy with the finishing touches to the cabinets, but Kemal made sure all was finished to my liking when the job was completed.2. Flooring...Now, for the refinishing of the pine floors.....by the 4th and last try the floors looked good, not great, but good. Kemal once again came through for us, to have them done properly. I believe there was little overall daily managing of the project, as the general daily manager was out of town the first week of my project.3. Countertops.....the company tried to reinstall my Silestone countertop which I had for only a few years.....but, when all was done, and the Silestone replaced, it did not look good, nor fit properly......soooooooo, to make a long story longer..........we chose a steel gray granite, which added $2200 to our original estimate.4. Electrical work....PERFECT!!!!!!!!! Needed a designated electrical line for the microwave and new recessed lighting and under counter lighting..... GREAT work!5. Plumbing....to disconnect and reconnect all the plumbing....GREAT!!!!!!6. Painting... wonderful friendly team of young fellows, I was very pleased!!!!7. General clean up....each and every day the work place was cleaned as best as possible. The worst part of the whole project was the sanding of the pine floors, dust dust dust and more dust.....it was difficult to contain those small particles. The workers tried as best as they could, by sealing off the room.8. General impression......I love my new kitchen! Kemal, our project manager was a 'see-it-to-the-end' kinda guy. He was always within reach either by email or phone call and especially always willing to work things out for the benefit of the customer.......I would recommend them especially, Kemal....thank you.

After receiving multiple quotes for our kitchen renovation we decided to go with Virginia Kitchen & Bath. We really enjoyed visiting their showroom and being able to pick out and see actual examples of what the kitchen would look like. The designers we worked with were very responsive to our questions and concerns when we raised any. The work was completed in the timeframe quoted to us, and they were even able to add on some additional work to our pantry that was needed. Overall the project went smoothly and we never encountered any major problems. The work done was excellent, and our new kitchen looks great. I can't believe we waited this long to upgrade!!! After our positive experience with Virginia Kitchen & Bath, we are now using them to update the three bathrooms in our house.

when the room was a shell they put down new hardwoods floors, painted everything. Put in new cabinets, appliances and just did a wonderful job. they made an ugly kitchen look fabulous. I love my new kitchen and bath. the people that did the work really worked and always cleaned up their mess. It took a much shorter time than I expected. their price was very fair and they even sent me to a place to get all new appliances which were not included in their price, but also a very fair price. I would use them again in a heartbeat. Lynne
