When a leak in our upstairs bathroom threw a curveball our Memorial Day weekend, we decided to turn lemons into lemonade and remodel! We got several quotes and decided on Virginia Kitchen and Bath because they had beautiful, luxury-level results at our price point and did not sacrifice quality. It was a great choice! The design process with Burak was smooth from start to finish. He had the perfect balance of expertise and willingness to incorporate our ideas. I didn’t feel steered into a cookie cutter remodel. I felt like I had an experienced guide who knew what worked based on years of working in our community. Once we got started, Emin was professional and responsive. We always knew what was happening with our project, and when we had questions the answers were only a text away. Our day to day team, headed by Angel, were clearly the best in the business. They worked hard through the whole contract, often stopping to get our opinions to make sure everything was just right. The result speaks for itself. Our once dated bathroom with a broken toilet is now our serene oasis. The whole team at Virginia Kitchen and Bath made what could have been a tough summer easy!

This is our second home project with VK&B. The first was a kitchen and minor powder room addition, and the most recent one was a bathroom in our guest house. We've been pleased with the outcome of both projects. They've done quality work for us. One thing that stands out for me is their flexibility. We've been on long trips during both jobs, which would normally make me very nervous about not seeing progress. But I was able to facetime with the crew for issues/questions/updates and they sent pictures every couple of days. I also appreciate their willingness to come back to address issues after the project is done. Their nice people, too. All in all - I'm pleased. I've used them twice and will get a bid for any future projects as well.

I have had VHB redo two kitchens, a master bath and half bath across two houses over the years. The remodel of our current master bathroom was ~4 years ago and was great. Recently the tub filler (Kohler) failed and I reached out asking for proof of purchase so I could reach out to request a replacement from Kohler warranty. Instead , they contacted Kohler for me, registered the warranty for the part under my name and had Kohler ship me the part directly. The part Kohler sent didn't' solve the problem so VHB followed up again and had an equivalent model tub filler shipped to me. I will go back to VHB for any future remodeling, the initial work was great, and even ~4 years later, they went above and beyond to help with something that wasn't their responsibility.

My family has used the services of Virginia Kitchen and Bath in the past. This time we had a small bathroom remodeling project, updating a 80's-era bathroom that was original to the townhouse. VK&B may not be the least expensive option, but I cannot fault the selection of materials or quality of the craftsmanship. Their crews are very diligent, and always asked for guidance to make sure we were happy with the work.

We have had several contractors perform work on our house over the past 12 years and Virginia Kitchen and Bath (VKB) is by far the best. Our bathrooms and kitchen are GORGEOUS. VKB offered us a competitive price, high quality workmanship, superior project management, and insightful design. Plus, the projects were performed at the presented timeline and budget. The transformation of our 1980s master bathroom to its current contemporary style was truly impressive. I took pictures every day of this transformation and we are still stunned at how beautiful our bathroom is. It is my favorite room in the house! VA Kitchen & Bath’s team, professionalism, timeliness, courtesy was exactly as they stated, which is why we chose them. At times, the selection process was overwhelming, but his responsiveness and suggestions calmed our concerns. Eliseo, our project manager, and his team were top-notch quality! Incompetent, cutting corners, no project management, do not inform the customers of decisions they make on their behalf. 1. They tried to cut corners every step of the way, including improper plumbing that would have caused a major issue down the road. No electrical inspection, good thing we insisted on it being done, issues were discovered that could have been a concern for safety and would have destroyed our new appliances. 2. There were 3 “must haves” in our remodel and we were told that they will do all three. When the project started, it turned out that 2 were no longer happening. One was due to VKB placing the wrong ordering and us not finding out until it was too late, and the second one was due to them not reviewing the floor plan prior to project start. The 3rd “must have” was at jeopardy as well but, at that point it was a deal breaker for us and they managed to get it done. 3. The project was supposed to be complete in 6 weeks, while we understand that delays happen, going from 6 to 14 weeks with no explanation or communication is unacceptable. 4. The work space was a disaster. 5. While the workers were very polite, the craftmanship was horrible, or nonexistent. Most of the time it felt as if we are the first project they have ever worked on and if we didn’t insist on re-work it would have looked like DIY project. 6. They damaged our furniture with paint splashes, it was not properly covered.

From design, to repeated consultations, to install and completion, VKB did an amazing job. They are straight forward and honest. From Burak Akin (my designer/salesperson) through Matt Bidgood (project manager), they responded to my questions, slight real time alterations, and finished way ahead of schedule. Simply a great job!

Virginia K&B provided an excellent estimate that beat all other estimates. The estimate also included that they would obtain all work permits. There showcase store had almost everything you could ever want in deciding what type of bath you wanted, to include tile, color of tile, color of caulk and all cabinets and fixtures . They showed up on time and immediately put down drop cloths to protect the carpet and floors. They cleaned up before they left for the day. All work was done with absolute professionalism and all details were done with perfection. They also completed the job 1 week earlier than they predicted. I would highly recommend them for any Kitchen and Bath work

We love our bathroom remodel. Virginia Kitchen and bath has a great team. Our designer, Leon, was very easy to work with and the crew did an exceptional job. They always showed up on time and worked hard all day. They were tidy and efficient and very friendly. The job was completed in a timely manner, and the cost was very reasonable. We would recommend them to anyone in the area looking to update a bathroom or kitchen.

I interviewed several contractors and ended up choosing Virginia Kitchen & Bath (VKB) to remodel my master bathroom and hallway bathroom. Omar came out to take the measurement. Omar really knows his trade, and he was very patient and helped me selecting cabinets, flooring, countertop, etc. My project started right after Thanksgiving, it was completed in January. It took longer than expected. Omar was the project manager initially; and Ethan became the project manager for my project. The work crew started on time every day which is really important to me as I work full time. The work crew cleaned up every day and left no mess before they left my house. The work crew Lead, Eliseo, kept me informed on what they would accomplish and do when they arrived every day which I appreciate a great deal. For my quartz countertop, there was a screw embedded on my countertop. Ethan had the countertop repair tech came to fix it. After a couple tries, the result was not acceptable as the tech removed the screw and put filling in where he dug out the screw, and buffed the area. Then, I ended up with a spot with filling and rings where he buffed. Ethan was able to have my quartz countertop replaced. With that I know I have selected the right contractor to do my bathrooms remodeling as VKB held up their words. They make sure their customers are happy with the work and care about the final result when the project is complete. VKB truly focus on customer satisfactory. Both of my bathrooms look really nice. And, I look forward to working with them on my next project.

We had a wonderful experience with VK&B. Very professional -- Leon and Bo were very helpful in the design phase. The subcontractor who built the kitchen was thorough and detailed. He adjusted the ceiling curvature with drywall just so that the molding above the cabinets would be flush against the ceiling. He spent hours aligning the cabinets doors and all fixtures. He even worked on Saturdays and Sundays to finish up the work within the promised timeframe. It was definitely worth the price.

In the beginning they were very responsive and helped us pick the tile and fixtures. I asked if the workers doing the job were employees or subs and was told employees. This was not the case which means we probably paid cost + 10 or 15% for the labor on top of the cost of materials. VK&B provides materials at list price and they make their profit on their discount with the supplier and were told this part up front by Bo and Leon. They forgot to order the bathtub facing we wanted and the spray head for the tub. When they ordered the spray head it matched the shower which was absurd for a bathtub, and I had to bring them back the parts and buy the proper one. I was not credited for the return which I handed directly to Mel and had to argue with them and produce texts at invoice time. The PM was horrible and according to VK&B no longer works for them. He did not communicate or really do anything that a PM should do. If I did not work from home this job would have gone south fast. Fortunately, they brought Matt back to the company and he did what the original PM should have done. The pantry that was ordered after VK&B measured did not fit through the door and had to be disassembled in our bedroom. While it all worked out in the end it should have never happened and a very expensive piece of furniture should not have had to be disassembled. The contractors doing the work were great and did their best with what they were given by VK&B. We would hire them to do any job at my house in the future. We will never use VK&B again nor would we recommend them to anyone.

The entire team at Virginia Kitchen & Bath was exceptional--from the very responsive owner and clear communicator, Kemal, to the excellent team of renovation pros, especially Marcelo, Rodrigo and Hugo, who executed the job. These guys paid great attention to detail, and you could tell they wanted to get things done right and as we requested. Thanks also to Tara who helped us with design elements and Faruk who managed the renovation. I don't think a better job could have been done. And this is not one of those companies that ignores you once they've gotten their last check!

Completely satisfied customer and impressed with both the very high caliber and quality of work as well as the experience during our kitchen remodel. We would not hesitate to use VKB again for any renovation or construction needs and would highly recommend to anyone looking. The entire crew from the sales representative, Mel, to the Project Manager, Sertac, to the work team and speciality crews was professional, responsive, always friendly and polite. The process from design and quoting , to demolition and construction and installation was very well laid out, communicated properly , and we always felt that both the workers and VKB staff valued our business and made it a priority to listen to our needs and preferences. The work crew showed up on time as scheduled and worked the entire day and always cleaned up prior to leaving. Our home was clean as possible during construction. Any time we had a modification or question during the work, they were quick to address it as well as make adjustments when necessary. Communication, professionalism and the great willingness to listen to each our needs and concerns was paramount in a contractor and crew, and VKB delivered and exceeded our expectations. We look forward to enjoying our new kitchen and very happy we chose to work with VKB.

The work went exceedingly well. The job started on time and ended earlier than estimated. Edison and his co-worker, Romero (sp?) were very easy to work with. They always announced when they arrived; met with us at the end of each day to show what they accomplished; and always asked questions should there be any decision/design that needed clarification. On the front end Leon and Bo were great to work with on all phases of the design and selection of tiles, cabinets, and accessories. Lastly, the quality of the work and the price was a great value.

We had our hall bathroom renovated and it was a great experience working with Virginia Kitchen and Bath throughout the project. Cleven was outstanding on-site leading the renovation. He was very skilled, hard working and kept project clean throughout the effort. Ali was our project manager and he was very responsive and kept project on track. We would use Virginia Kitchen and Bath again based on our experience with them both. We appreciate their work and efforts to deliver our new bathroom.

I highly recommend Virginia Kitchen & Bath. I hired them to do a complete remodel of our full bathroom in our basement. This was the first major remodel project that I had done, and I could not have been more pleased. The process from start to finish was easy and hassle free. Once the supplies were in, they quickly scheduled the project to start, and the remodel was finished in 1/2 the time I expected. The project manager and the two workers who performed the remodel were very professional. Any questions I had they answered and everything done exceeded my expectations. I plan to use them again in the near future for another bathroom remodel.

We are very happy with the remodel of our kitchen performed by Virginia Kitchen and Bath. Burak was extremely helpful during the planning phase of the project. We explained what we were looking to accomplish, and he worked our requests into the design and selection of materials. Ali, our project manager, gets an ‘A+’ for communication. He answered the phone every time we called and responded to texts within the hour. He was right there anytime there was a question and was diligent in making sure the job was being completed to our standards. Ihsan and his crew were also great. They were always on time, professional and hard working. We always knew when they would be there and what they planned to work on that day. Everyone we dealt with at Virginia Kitchen and Bath made sure everything was done exactly the way we wanted and we couldn’t be happier with our new kitchen!

The process of having a one stop shop made everything much smoother. Akin was great upfront helping us choose a style and materials. Our contractor Miguel was very detail oriented and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Always respectful of our space and communicating along the way. Final result was a completely transformed kitchen. We would use them again for other projects.

We went with Virginia Kitchen and Bath in the hopes that we would be pleased with their work and would use them later for a master bath reno and then a kitchen reno. The design experience was great and the price competitive. The quality of the work was ok, in general, but not as good quality as we expected it would be. On the first day on the job they busted a pipe which led to a rather large leak and water damage to the ceiling below (on the main level of the house). They busted a pipe again on the second day on the job leading to more water stains on the ceiling. They did replace/repaint the drywall but it's still somewhat noticeable where the repairs were made. We were specifically told cement backer board would be installed up to the ceiling (and it was in the contract). They only installed it 2/3 of the way up (and installed drywall on the remaining part) until we questioned it. On another day, no one showed up. When we called the project manager we were told it was because they were getting the tile -- when the workers showed up the next day and we asked why they didn't show, they said they were at another job for the day. They were on contract to seal the grout -- when I asked I was told it didn't need to be sealed, then when I showed them the contract they said they would do it (but I had to buy the sealer at Lowes). They were on contract to furnish and install a new shower curtain, new towel bars and toilet paper holder. They never provided them -- we had to buy at Lowe's and then they installed them. Not sure why, but the area around the tub drain looked terrible (they put some sort of putty or something around it). They did fix it but it still looks amateurish. There were half a dozen or so other items that had to be fixed (e.g. vanity drawer handles were crooked, towel rack didn't line up, etc.). To their credit there was no disagreement when I tallied up the cost of the towel racks, shower rod, tile sealer, etc., and deducted those costs from the final payment, but the project manager should have been on top of that (since it was in the contract) and not had me buy those items myself. In summary, we were disappointed in the project management and although the workmanship was ok, it was just that, ok. Although hoping to find a contractor to do our other bathroom, and kitchen as well, we will look elsewhere before going with VA Kitchen and Bath again.

We recently completed our kitchen and powder room remodel. Leon and Bo were our sales/designer team. They were very helpful providing us alternatives to what we “thought” we wanted to help open up our small kitchen (removing outdated soffits and the ledge on our center island). We were a little concerned when we learned before our project start that they left the company because we still didn’t choose our countertops, backsplash and paint colors. The owner Kemal Boyraz reassured us that the project would go smoothly and he and his team would assist us. Although we were a little apprehensive starting demolition before our final selections, I soon found myself thanking Kemal and phrasing the crew assigned to our project! Sertac was our project manager and Andy was our crew leader. Any concerns we had we brought to the attention of Sertac and were quickly addressed and relayed to Andy. Andy was personable and worked with me and my husband and made design, plumbing and electrical suggestions. He even sat with me and gave his onion on paint swatches I was struggling with! The powder room mirror we selected turned out to be too large and to order the smaller mirror would have taken two weeks to get. Andy ran out to a few different suppliers to find it in stock. I can’t praise and thank Andy and his crew enough. Our new kitchen and power room turned out to be even more beautiful than we imagined. We went from dark dated cabinets and countertops to a bright and open elegant design. Thank you Virginia Kitchen & Bath for all your hard work and craftsmanship.
