Our experience with VA Kitchen and Bath was excellent from start to end. We started the work in the middle of the pandemic. They were very professional and completed the work in a timely manner. Burak Akin has helped us design our new kitchen and we had a dedicated project Manager Omar who took care of the complete project. They stayed on schedule with frequent updates once the deal was signed. We are very happy with the outcome and highly recommend them.

Virginia Kitchen & Bath did a fantastic job completely remodeling a dated master bathroom and walk-in closet as well as another bathroom! From the start of the process with the layout, design, and selection of materials/fixtures through the final walkthrough after construction their entire team was professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and diligent. For the master bath the work was complicated - it involved blocking off one entrance, expanding the bathroom into a little used walk-in closet, replacing the fixtures, pipes, tile, installing a pocket door and painting. The construction team, who are employees, not subcontractors, worked long hours, including Saturdays, and was extremely careful, cleaning up each day and making every effort to cause as little disruption as possible. They also wore masks and took care to social distance, making us very comfortable to have their team work in our home during COVID. We are delighted with the results - a bigger, brighter, modern master bath with a much bigger walk-in shower, a new bathtub, as well as new shelving in the closet and a fully updated guest bathroom. Our only regret is that we didn't have Virginia Kitchen & Bath do the work sooner! I would not hesitate to hire their team again or to recommend them to anyone looking to renovate. Their work is top notch and their entire team, from the designers to the construction crew, are a pleasure to work with.

Great experience from start to finish on our Jack and Jill bathroom. Full replacement of floor and shower/tub tiles, double vanities and sinks, mirrors, light fixtures, toilet, exhaust fan, new recessed lights, tub, towel bars, faucets...the works. They removed a hinged door to the water closet/tub and prepped the walls above it for a sliding barn door support system by installing backer wood and replacing the drywall. I also requested the Schluter system for water proofing the floors and shower which they accommodated for a little extra cost. I truly appreciated the showroom experience. My family had the run of the place with Burak our designer while we picked out all the finishes. For nearly all elements required for our bathroom, there were no up charges for higher end materials. The quoted price allowed us to pick exactly what we wanted including high end quartz countertops that look like marble. Install started about when 3-4 weeks after choosing materials, and the job was finished one week after start, all as promised. Project manager stopped by nearly every day to check on progress and any concerns we may have. Crew worked from about 8:30 to 5:30 Monday through Saturday, finishing the next Monday. They used plenty of tarps for dust control and cleaned up before leaving everyday. Very happy with the results, and the crew came out to complete our punch list of final touchups in a timely fashion. We plan on using Virginia Kitchen & Bath again soon.

We have had a Master Bathroom remodeled, and then another hallway bathroom and half-bath. All projects were great! VA Kitchen & Bath did an incredible job - from design help to installation and then follow up afterwards. We had everything replaced - from flooring, tiling, cabinets, mirrors, lighting and painting - and all professional and great quality of work! I would highly recommend them and have another project (laundry remodel) that is currently being designed.

Remodel kitchen and master bathroom

We used Virginia Kitchen & Bath originally to update our townhouse kitchen. After they were done, we used them to renovate 3 bathrooms to include a master bath overhaul to include walk in closet. They were very reasonably priced, but more importantly they came in on budget and on time! Even many years after the renovations they have always responded to any inquiry to question I have. I’ve referred a few friends who have used them with great results as well. Highly recommend. Good luck on your renovation.

Our bathroom remodeling experience with Virginia Kitchen & Bath was great, and we were really pleased with the results. We had two original bathrooms that needed some love. We found VKB's pricing to be in line with their competitors, but their prompt responses to all of our inquiries made them an easy choice. We worked with Bo to design our bathrooms, and she was incredible helping us choose colors and materials that would flow. Our project manager, Sertac, checked in with us daily as soon as work started. He was available all hours to answer any questions we might have had about the process. We had one crew throughout the entirety of our project, and they were equally wonderful. We are very happy with the results, and will definitely go to them first when we inevitably remodel the kitchen.

We are extremely happy with the remodel performed by Virginia Kitchen and Bath and have already recommended them to several friends. We planned our remodel for late September and obtained four quotes from different contractors in early June and signed the contract in July. Virginia Kitchen and Bath was not the cheapest but were fairly priced based on what we wanted done. We chose them because they were able to accommodate our schedule, incorporate our needs and successfully anticipated and addressed some of the difficulties that we faced. There were no surprise costs! WORK DONE: They removed all existing cabinets, redesigned the layout (moved electrical, gas and water connections, got the permits!) and installed flooring, cabinets with granite counter tops and new lighting. The design team (Leon and Bo) was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. They came to our home a couple of times and met with us a couple of times in their office to design and adjust the layout based on what we were looking for. They showed us a 3-D rendering of what everything would look like before we finalized selections. All materials and appliances were selected and ordered in July. Work started the third week in September and was finished 2.5 weeks later. Crew: I would say that 85% of the work was done by crew supervisor and two workers. They were extremely punctual, meticulous, worked to completion and it showed on the quality of the final product. Trash was removed regularly from the premises.

I researched 8 different company contractors for our partial bathroom remodeling project which included: removing the tub, extending a wall by several inches, installing the shower stall flooring, repositioning the bathroom plumbing and of course, laying all the tiles, installing a custom-sized glass shower door and painting the walls of the bathroom. I feel so blessed having worked with the designer Burak, who came to the house to provide a quote, then met me at the showroom so I could select the tile, accents and shower fixtures, and then meeting the project mgr. Sertac, who aligned skilled workers to the timelines (BTW: all contractors are VKB full time employees), and our amazing lead contractor Mario. Everyone helped to move things along swiftly, in time, on budget and with a great quality job through to completion. And finally, the price was extremely fair - I received exactly what I hoped for with no hiccups for a good price. I would definitely recommend VKB to friends and family. Javier was an excellent construction lead and a great guy. The job was done in the estimated time frame (4 weeks) and within budget. We love how it turned out...it's so beautiful.

We hired Virginia Kitchen & bath because we really liked the design team who helped us make the decisions necessary to upgrade and redesign both the kitchen and bathroom. We added replacing the main level floor, also. When the work teams arrived to start the bath remodel, they were so obviously excellent at their jobs that we added replacing some windows and the upstairs flooring. Everyone we worked with went the extra mile to make design and construction upgrades that really impacted the final results. They started and ended on time, the costs were very reasonable and the outcome is a couple really beautiful and functional rooms.

We were very pleased with VKB's work. We were looking for a full service shop with minimum effort on our part and VKB delivered. We had a visit from one of their reps followed by an hour in the store picking out the materials. The quality of the work was excellent and we plan to hire them again for our kitchen. The only complaint was the work dragged on quite a bit longer than the original estimate. For the next project we are going to ensure everything is ordered in advance so we don't get stuck waiting on materials.

Amazing work and service and professionalism on all dimensions. Excellent choices of options; Work started on time and ended early as we needed everything before guests arrived for an event at home. Crew was not just professional but made good suggestions to make finer points of the bathroom better. There was no bickering over materials or labor and they went above and beyond my expectations on the overall job. Will definitely do my next home improvement project with VKB in a heartbeat!

It went smooth as silk for a complete gutting and replacement of the "hallway" bathroom (i.e., the main bathroom) in our mid-1960's vintage Colonial home in Fairfax. This work included ripping out the old pink bathtub (good riddance!) and replacing it with another standard tub (with new showerhead and faucet, etc.), ripping out and replacing most of the old drywall, ripping out and replacing floor tiles, installing new sink and vanity, toilet, etc. We got three quotes from very reputable firms after careful research on Angie's List. All three seemed very capable and were highly rated in their reviews. The highest bid was $17,000, the other two in a virtual tie at about $14,000. We chose one of those two, from Virginia Kitchen & Bath, and they did a terrific job. We accepted their bid in mid-August, and VKB said they would start job in the last week of September, and to allow 2-3 weeks for the work. That is exactly how it went. Work took just a little over two weeks. Our crew was led by Mario, while Leon Zajdel was the senior designer. Both were great to work with. I was not aware of just how much labor would be involved. We had two men here for a good 6-8 hours daily, five days a week for the two-week period. Would definitely hire VKB again.

If you value your time, money and blood pressure read this review. Our remodel started in January 2019 and hit delays because the wrong cabinet (for a double oven) was ordered. The project manager told us it would take 3 months to get components to fix it for a microwave. and got surly when I called once a week for updates. He finally walked out on the company. We waited 43 days before we got the cabinet fixed close to what we asked for, and what the designer drew up. One sub-contractor did such a shoddy job installing a window, someone else came attempting to rectify the problem and the window opens well now, but the whole window would have to be taken out and reinstalled to make it perfect. The floor installer left gouge marks in the floor. The only good worker was Wilson, who did exceptional work. Most of their contractors had no respect for your home leaving the doors opened in cold weather, sitting on your chairs in the living room while having personal conservations on their cell, and the window installer threw nails and other debris off the deck into the yard. We also got a flat tire from a nail he left in the drive. We closed out the project with the owner of VKB, July 19. He felt that we focused too much on the flaws rather than the good work, and we should be satisfied with 95% of the project acceptable. Our advice if you hire this company: when you work with your designer at VKB, insist on looking at the cabinet catalog to see your choices for shelf depth, or types of cabinets you would like. We did not get that. In fact, once the designer was finished with the drawings, we were handed off to the project manager, never to hear from the designer again. VRB policy is demanding the customer has all customer-provided items on site prior to project start – strange this same policy does not apply to them.

We hired Virginia Kitchen and Bath to completely remodel our Master Bathroom. From the initial planning stage with Burak to the final finishing touches, we were very happy. Selection was done in their Leesburg showroom, which was very convenient for us. They were willing to obtain the fixtures we wanted that were not displayed in their showroom. Our project manager Sertac and his crew were fantastic. He responded to questions or issues within hours of contacting him. Alejandro, our lead carpenter and his crew showed up on time every morning, and worked through until early evening. We knew what they would be working on each day and when they would arrive. They left their work area neat and cleaned up what they could at the end of the day. The entire process was a great experience. We would definitely hire them again.

Virginia Kitchen & Bath was an ideal experience, from the design to the completion of the job. The professionalism of the workers was outstanding - they showed up on time, cleaned up, made great suggestions to make detail changes at no additional cost - and the work was completed in a timely fashion. It was actually ahead of schedule. Although a but pricey, I would hire them again as there was nothing that needed rework.

We had a master bath, a second bath and a powder room redone. The quality of workmanship varied. Both the wallboard and tile work were excellent. I cannot speak definitively to the plumbing yet, but with some minor exceptions, appears to be good. The electrical work, unfortunately, was apparently subpar. An electrician that I had come in later to add a bathroom fan noted that an overhead light VA Bath had removed in the master bath was simply removed and left in the attic, and remained connected to power. He also fixed two electrical connections which had simply been taped together, rather than using proper electrical connectors. We will likely be having him come back to check the remaining work. We were told it was not typical to ask for county inspections. I would urge anyone having a bathroom renovation done to insist upon them. It may slow the pace of work, but is worth the peace of mind.

I had a fantastic experience with VA Kitchen and Bath. My project was probably one of the smaller they have worked on with only replacing my counter tops and adding a back splash. Regardless, they treated me like I was a priority and expertly helped me every step of the way. From Tara helping to choose the right materials, to Sertac who managed the project from start to finish and Cesar and his team performing the installation. I had a concern with the size of the sink and the entire team showed up to my house to evaluate the situation before any installation took place. I was so impressed. They did an outstanding job and worked with me on my schedule. Their customer service is second to none! I love the finished product. Highly recommend.

Selection of fixtures was fine. I did not receive a detailed list of the selections along with the contract that we signed. We did not receive a scale CAD drawing of the layout. No discussion of grab bars during planning. We didn't get them and I wish we had. My fault for not demanding. Installers are contractors, not employees. Project manager who was assigned spoke poor English, tended to be overly pushy when something did not turn out right and he wanted us to just accept it. Installers seemed good on the whole. A few problems came up and they corrected quickly. They were reasonably careful and neat. They were not always timely. We felt we had to sit on them to make sure they showed up on time and spent the whole day on the job. There wasn't a big sense of urgency. There were some loose ends that were promptly resolved and the end product looks great.

I had a total bathroom renovation by Virginia Kitchen and Bath at Leesburg. It was a fantastic experience, and I would recommend them most highly to anyone. I needed to have the shower redone to accommodate my husband who has disabilities. From the very earliest design, the people at VK&B helped to make this fit his personal needs. The seat height was to his specifications as was the location of the hand-held shower. They built a ramp up to the shower entrance so that he could roll his walker as close as possible to the bench, and they built up the shower floor so there was a minimal threshold to step over. They removed the separate bathtub and installed a second vanity that had a leg space so he could sit on his walker and use the sink. This second vanity was lower in height and with the vanity cabinet lower as well. Not only was the design well done, but the construction was completed ahead of time. They told me in advance that the shower door would require custom glass and would take longer. However, we were back to using the majority of the bathroom in about 10 days, with the completion of the shower door taking another week. They resolved all issues. Overall this was a superb experience.
