The whole experience was professional, with plenty of courtesy thrown in!! The materials provided and the service given was top notch, per our expectations. Dale and Andy were outstanding team leaders. Their patience with us was much appreciated. They favorably adjusted to our changes in product/material desires. They were prompt. They keep their construction area clean and hauled away the transh.

The job went very well. Dale was extremely helpful in guiding us through the design / selection process in the showroom. Burak and Yunus led the job site activities and worked with us to finalize design details and address questions and issues. Edison, Edgar and Paolo were excellent at the tile work and installation, dry wall, etc. We appreciate that either Burak or Yunus came to the site almost everyday and always checked on the quality and made sure we were happy.

i chose virginia kitchen and bath to redo my bathroom on the referral of a co-worker. i enjoyed working with dale mcquillen- my designer to help me make good decisions as to what would fit and look good in my bathroom. i believe he listened to what i needed and wanted and he was easy to work with. the showroom was stocked with many choices of fixtures, tiles and everything needed-- one stop shopping. i appreciated all the time he took with me allowing me to make decisions in their showroom. the job was started and completed as we discussed. the workers that came daily were considerate and professional. they seemed very competent and left the area very clean every day. you wouldn't have known there was anyone there working. burak akin was my project manager-- he too was very professional-- he came frequently to check on the progress of the project and to make sure everything was going as planned .. i had obtained several quotes for this job and found the one from virginia kitchen and bath to be middle of the road. i am very very pleased with the outcome of this project. the bathroom looks fabulous. at this time i can not think of anything that could have been done differently. i would certainly use virginia kitchen and bath for other home improvement projects

Burak and his team were great to work with. They were very responsive, on time with the schedule and the bath turn out beautiful. We are very happy with the end result and would definitely work with them again.

Kemal, Brock and his team at Virginia Kitchen and Bath went the extra mile and gave us a beautiful bathroom that addressed all of the problems we had with our Master Bath. Their expert advice and guidance with the many decisions we needed to make really made the difference in giving us a luxurious, updated and up -to -code bathroom. They opened the wall to give us a shower twice as large as what it originally was, reworked all the plumbing that was originally done very poorly, and convinced us to choose a uniform tile throughout to make our bathroom appear larger. Kemal not only matched the lowest estimate we received to redo our space, but he also stuck to our agreed upon budget: when Aneville discovered that he would have to rework the pipes to change the position of the showerhead, he said thee would be no additional cost. And though it wasn't originally in the estimate, Aneville, the contractor, and his team gave us an electrical outlet, a vent, fixed the door plate and also repainted the space for us. Aneville and Cari were very courteous, respectful of our home, and very hard working! It was nice to know that the same two individuals would be working to complete the entire project and we did not have to have different people each day. We will definitely use Virginia Kitchen and Bath again!

Virginia Kitchen and Bath did outstanding work. My wife and I were extremely pleased with the initial consultation, visit to the showroom and actual work. Our Project Manager, Yunus, did an outstanding job keeping us informed every step of the way and was responsive to the changes we made along the way. The work crew was on-site at the time we were told each workday and cleaned up the work site every day. We are very proud showing off the bathroom to our family and friends and gladly recommend them if they are considering remodeling their bathrooms.

I was looking for a local remodeling company to renew our kitchen. I noticed Virginia Kitchen and Bath in clocktower plaza. I went right in and asked to schedule an appointment. They gave me their earliest possible. Their showroom is very impressive. They have displays for both traditional and contemporary kitchens. I wasn't planning on doing our bathroom but their display made me think about it. Our designer and project manager were very helpful and experienced. They were able to help me with new ideas. Helpful in selections and design throughout the project. Workers were easy to deal with and supervison was hands on. Project had some delays which were not VKB's fault. It took a while, but the end result met our expectations!! We are very satisfied with their product!!!

We got a lovely updated bathroom in spite of some issues with our space. Our 40 year old townhouse has uneven walls and uneven floors, but the crew managed to make everything work, and we love it. Burak, the young man in charge worked very hard to make sure it all turned out well. Because of our issues, it took a few days longer than planned, but the outcome was worth it.

I received a few estimates -- the one from VKB was competitive so I decided to go with them due to the "one-stop" shopping nature of their business. At first I was a bit reluctant, but their selection for all the bathroom fixtures, etc was exactly what I was looking for. The one-stop shop saved a lot of time and frustration looking around in several shops. But, what I really liked is first, the design. The bathroom I had remodeled is very small and a difficult space, but the design used every inch of space -- I can't believe the amount of storage I have now. Second, the installation team--excellent. The team leader was a man named Andy. He is fantastic--at the end of the day he showed what they did during the day and what was scheduled for the next day. He also answered all my many, many questions along the way. He is a great asset. The installation itself was trouble free and was finished two days early. All in all, a great deal and I LOVE my new bathroom.

I had previously used Virginia Kitchen and Bath for my kitchen remodeling. I had no doubt about using them again for my other projects. As usual we started off by getting initial estimates and design. We had carpet in the house and it was pretty hard to maintain. We were thinking about doing hardwood floors for a long time. Also we wanted to add a bathroom in our basement. We were able to get a great deal as a former client considering the type/quality of the hardwood floor we selected. The whole process was stress-free. We knew how it was going to be. The workers were organized. They started at one place and continued from there for hardwood. They were not all over the house at once. They cleaned as they finished each room so we could place our furniture back. The basement was the easiest since it wasn't in the way and we were not using the basement much for our daily routine. Overall we are once again very satisfied with the outcome. Virginia Kitchen and Bath, it's workers, and office staff are always professional and on top of everything. We would love to hire them again if needed.

We hired Virginia Kitchen and Bath to renovate our kitchen. We were very skeptical at first but Leon (our designer) and Kemal (our project manager) were very helpful and professional. One of the many reasons why we chose them is because they had the best showroom out of all the places we've been to. Their options on display would suit anyone with any type of design (traditional/contemporary etc.) their staff is also very professional and organized. Most importantly they were on schedule with everything stated on the contract. They started and finished as they promised. Kemal was always on site and on the phone with us whenever we needed. We highly recommend Virginia Kitchen and Bath with any remodeling project without a doubt.

The designer at the store was very helpful. Work was scheduled within 2 weeks and the workmen arrived on time. The workmen cleaned up at the end of each day to limit the dust/debris. Each bathroom took about 1.5 wks. I would concur with a previous view that all the important items were communicated but some of the smaller details got lost. The designer recommended to me a 3" (three inch) accent tile/band but the first bathroom had more of a standard 5" accent band. I noticed after most of the tile was already in place in the first bathroom, so I just asked the workmen to adjust it for the second bathroom (which they did). I had asked for an additional medicine cabinet above the toilet and one they brought was not the one I had picked out (they did it exchange it). There were a couple of minor issues after most of the work was done. I did not have to make the final payment until all the issues were cleared up the following weekend. The project manager was responsive and checked on each issue to make sure I was ok with the result. The bathrooms look great and I would use this company again. If I do another bathroom, I would take pictures of all of my choices - to make sure I did not forget what I chose, and that the written contract listed everything I had picked out.

My wife and I decided to have the entire kitchen remodeling in June. We got several bids on the job and chose Virginia Kitchen & Bath , basically because of all the great detailed Angieslist reviews. Kemal and his team are 100% professional, efficient, and fantastic to work with. They showed up on time , worked well, and had great manners and customer service. Furthermore, Kemal was very good at giving advice and insight into future projects I discussed with him. I'll definitely use them again.

Excellent. Everything went very well. This was our first bathroom remodeling project ever, and now we are going to use Virginia Kitchen and Bath again for our other bathrooms. We surveyed a few very good companies in the area before going final with Virginia Kitchen and Bath. We are very pleased with the results--very attractive new bathroom, high quality fixtures, superb workmanship, and timely service--all at a reasonable price compared to cost estimates provided by competitors in the area. Leon brought considerable experience to our discussions on bathroom design and functionality. He clarified the many choices for us and assured that our lack of knowledge on bathroom engineering did not lead us into making dumb decisions. Kemal is simply an honest, direct, knowledgeable and friendly project director. He is very reliable, responsive and quick to adjust. When a couple ordered items arrived that did not match what we desired, Kemal quickly contacted the producer to obtain the item that would work best. All this was done without cost or argument. The remodeling work team arrived on time, worked very hard without much impact on our daily life, and cleaned up every day. They accomplished a ton of work without much noise or trouble. The entire job was complete in five days. Quite impressive. Over time, the workmanship has proved to be superb. Everything works well, and there are no "do overs". The overall cost for the project was about $3,000.00 less than estimates provided by other good companies in the area. And we are very pleased with the outcome of their superb work. Overall, I give Virginia Kitchen and Bath our highest recommendation to our friends. And now we are eager to use Virginia Kitchen and Bath once again to remodel our remaining bathrooms.

The master bath remodel was great. They made suggestions on how to repurpose the space to acheive what I wanted. Workers were prompt, polite and responsive to my questions and did quality work. Hakan was my main contact and was easy to communicate with and quick to resolve any issues that arose. The second job (most recent) was less extensive but once again did a great job. Even though much of the work did not involve a bathroom, they were happy to provide me with what I needed. Once again, crew was wonderful and responsive. Pricewise, I feel the value was very good for the work that was done. Estimates were given quickly. I have really enjoyed working with this company. I look forward to using their services again in the future.

Making selections at the store was a snap. The materials were purchased and work scheduled within a few days. The quality of the work was excellent and the team very friendly and professional.

This was one of the best renovation jobs that I have seen. Our sales contact, Kemal and the project manager, Andy were great. They had a very professional team, timely and did a good job. As always, there are adjustments to the plan once construction begins. They were able to accommodate these requests without any painful discussions. After the work was complete, there were minor issues and when I pointed out to them, they were very prompt in getting them fixed. I would highly recommend them and will be happy to provide a referral.

Workmen were fast, thorough, and neat, cleaning up entirely at the end of each day. They redid the kitchen in one week only. The designer Dale is breezily charming, skilled, experienced, and interested, full of useful suggestions and points to consider. They made adjustments to the readymade cabinetry to fit specific measurements and needs. Everything looks tightly fitted and level. However skilled the workmen were, they were insufficiently supervised as to exactly what they were supposed to do. One specialty cabinet was installed without the electric outlet it should have had, and its interior arrangements wrongly adjusted. Dale, when I told him about this, replied "Oh I didn't know about that." In my opinion, he should have, since it was he who suggested and sold me that cabinet.. Another cabinet was supposed to have two pull-out shelves installed but as this was not specified in the contract, the workman did not do it. Someone had to come back three weeks later to finish the job. Tile delivery did not include some trim tiles I had ordered -- "they're out of stock" said the delivery man. I should have called the office and stopped the whole thing but went along with what was available which I still slightly regret though visitors think it looks wonderful. The plumber installed appliances but did not test the dishwasher -- in fact left the intake tap turned off under the sink so I thought it has been incorrectly installed when I tried to use it. He did not caulk the edge of the cooktop when installing it on the new countertop, leaving a 1/2" deep crevice underneath to collect countertop gunk. His seal of the kitchen sink drains was sloppily done, leaving ooze all around the flange. Though his work was sloppy overall, he did come back three weeks later (finally) to correct all of this. The main workman, Carlos, however, was absolutely wonderful. Did all the cabinetry and backsplash tile installation practically single handed, to perfection, and his last night stayed until 9pm to be sure all was as it should be before he left. Were I to do it again, I might use the same company and workmen, but I would specifically check every detail in the contract and make sure it included every specific and necessary instruction to the workmen.. And I would quiz Dale thoroughly on every element suggested. Conclusion: we customers have to do our own research and check every detail ourselves! And don't sign the contract until after you have checked that every last detail that you want done is included.

We really enjoyed working with the team from Virginia Kitchen and Bath. It began with working with a designer, Leon. He was great, easy to talk to and gave great suggestions. He also listened to our wants and gave us a great design. The project was penciled for three weeks, but went five due to weather and additional work we had done. The only negative we had was during demolition. The crew did not cover any of our furniture, so we had dust all over our pieces. Also, they did not clean up after themselves, as they left soda cups and fast food bags around along with their tools and materials. After speaking to the project manager, this was quickly rectified. And that was the way the entire project went, whatever we asked for, a no problem attitude was given. The kitchen and bath came out beautiful and we could not be any happier with our decision. Thank you so much Hakan and Kemal! You guys were the best!!!

This review is an absolute pleasure to write. I say that because we couldn?t be more pleased with our experience with Virginia Kitchen and Bath. They did a complete kitchen remodeling for us in March, 2014. We love the product and we were very happy with the process. They did what they said they would, when they said they would, and started and finished on time. Dale did our design and Hakan was our project manager. They were both excellent to work with. Our kitchen exceeds our expectations. They really cared about making sure we were happy and they did go out of their way make sure everything was right with the project. I also believe that we got good value in terms of cost. They were very open with us about the costs and I know we got a fair price, because we shopped around before signing our contract. Overall, it was a very painless process and we love the new kitchen. There probably aren?t a whole lot of folks who live through a complete kitchen remodel and can say that, but we can. We have a condominium in Bethesda MD, built in the late 60's, that had never been updated. The update that Virginia Kitchen and Bath (VBK) did was on budget and time. VBK came in about the same as the other 3 companies who bid on the project, they were middle of the group price wise. The proposal, as submitted, was inclusive of all costs minus paint. They kept to the budget even with problems encountered that were outside their control. More importantly to me, they kept to the time-frame, the project was completed within 8 days, 7 days was estimated. There was a plumbing problem with the person above our condo, which the demo exposed, so the extra day was not a fault of VBK. One of the things to mention that sort of stood out at the end of the project. My place was clean, very clean. They mopped all the floors, removed dust from shelves in immediate areas, etc. I thought that was great. VBK delivered as promised, I think that is very important. It was fixed pricing and simple. It was a smooth process from estimate to selection of products to the actual work. Compared to other bids, they were within reason, they were $5K less than one bid. The work was good and on-time. My building engineers, who had to inspect certain phases, also mentioned they thought it was good work. I would recommend VBK.

They gave expert advice in choosing color and design of tiles, offered great suggestions, and added special touches that truely gave the bathrooms class and elegance. They produce superior quality workmanship and are highly devoted to care and cleanliness while working in your home. I will be using them to renovate my kitchen in the near future.
