Great workers and job!!

We hired Thadson floors to install new hardwood floors throughout entire upstairs and to refinish the existing hardwood floors on the main level. Initially, we were impressed with Tom when he came to our home for the estimate, and the price he quoted was lower than 2 other companies, so we chose him. His team arrived on time and worked quickly, but in the end we were dissatisfied with their work. First off, the stain of the floor wasn't nearly as dark as Tom's team told us it would be. When we were shown the stain on the floor, we said that it wasn't as dark as we wanted, and the workers assured us it would be dark after all the coats were applied. In the end, it was not any darker. When we expressed disappointment that we felt the workers had mislead us, Tom became very defensive, never apologized, just said "everyone else is always happy with our work". We followed up with an email to him, and again received a defensive reply that did not acknowledge our unhappiness. Additionally, the workers left multiple stains on the trim, which we had to ask for them to come back and clean up. They left trash in our house as well (water bottles, wrappers, etc). Also, they also put a hole in one of the walls, which Tom did take responsibility for, but never offered to fix (we had to specifically ask him for a credit on the bill to cover the repair of the hole, he did not volunteer this). In the end, we were quite disappointed with the Thadson team's professionalism and Tom's lack of responsiveness to our dissatisfaction. We are planning on remodeling our bathroom and had originally had Tom take measurements of our bathroom for the tiling, but we will not be using Thadson Floors again for any future job.

Tom came to our house for measurements and e-mailed us a few quotes for carpet a few days later. Then we changed our mind and wanted a different style of carpet. He was very helpful and ended up giving us several more carpet suggestions, sent us many large carpet samples, and several more quotes. Thadson's prices were initially higher than another company. Tom worked with us on the pricing. Although the price was still a little higher than the another company, but the customer service was outstanding. Not many companies would be patient enough to work with a indecisive customer for two months. We were also pleased with the installation of the carpet. The staff was very courteous and did a very good job. Everyone was very professional and we would definitely use them again.

Superior customer service. Especially sales rep. Dustin. Sensational to work with. Puts the customer first. Extremely responsive and accommodating to any and all needs. We have called the company several times for cleaning/care advise for our floors. They have gone out of their way to provide advise (including how to remove PVC purple primer-plumber's spill from our newly finished floors). The oak to cherry stain match was nearly perfect. Couldn't ask for more. I recommend to all my friends.

Everything went great. Tom Spiewak gave us excellent color choices and high quality carpeting. The work was flawless and no mess was left.

Our 30+ y/o single-family home needed a new basement floor. We had 3 companies give us quotes on removing the old tile floor (laid on concrete) and laying down sheet vinyl, and Thadson was by far the most impressive presentation but they also seemed to have the best selection of product. They weren't the cheapest but they negotiated their price enough for us to have them do the installation, and they did a great job. They knocked it out in half a day and cleaned up well. We're thrilled with our new floor and would highly recommend Thadson for both their installation and customer service.

The crew showed up right on time. They were polite and respectful. The work done was grade A+. The area was completely cleaned when they left. The only reason you would know they were there was the great looking new tile floor in my bathroom. I will be using Thadson again when we do the rest of the house.

The floor was sanded using their dustless vacuum system, which was fabulous. I highly recommend this system when you are living in the house, even if it is more expensive. Earlier jobs we have had done resulted in dust everywhere that lasted for months, even when we thought we had cleaned everything. They matched the color with the adjoining floor in the hall and cleaned up after the job. They came as promised and finished on time.

Tom was recommended to us and although we had had other hardwoods installed in our house through another company, we called Tom. We went back and forth on color since we have light woods throughout most of the house and couldn't decide if we wanted to go darker on the upstairs. Tom was pretty patient with us until we finally made our decision (darker!). The first install last year took three days - the guys were as neat as could be considering all the cutting that had to be done and the floors are beautiful. We had one piece that did not match and called Tom - he looked at it and immediately said it needed to be redone - which it was the very next day. There was no doubt that when we were ready for the stairs and the upstairs hallway, etc. we would call Tom. We talked about what to do in the dining room - rip up the existing wood which was 21 years old or refinish - he suggested refinishing and promised it would match the living room and he saved us $1000 over pulling up the floor and replacing the wood and it is beautiful and matches exactly. No one can tell that the dining room floor is any different than the rest of the downstairs. While the dining room floor was being refinished, the other crew worked on the stairs and upper hallway. As with the first installation, it went smoothly, ontime and the results are beautiful. Wish we had more floors to finish.

They allowed us to take samples from their showroom and keep them for several days while we selected colors. We went with the best padding they had available and are very glad we did! Part of the need for carpeting was to make the floors warmer and more comfortable in the winter months. It is like walking on a cloud! From contract to installation was pretty quick.....less than 2 weeks. The installers were prompt and polite and moved all of our (heavy) bedroom furniture around in order to install the carpet. They also did a very nice job cleaning up. The pricing was excellent for the carpet/padding quality and service that we received! We've already used Thadson again to install a carpet runner on our staircase and a hallway runner too.

They were very professional from beginning to end. They showed up on time, worked hard, were courteous, and they finished earlier than expected. They found an unexpected problem, came up with a creative solution, and fixed it at no additional cost. Their price was a little higher than another estimate, but their quality was worth it. Plus, the other company probably would have charged for the unexpected problem, so I feel like I ultimately paid less and got more from Thadson.

They have superior customer service. This company very highly recommended to me. I cannot say enough good things about them. They do beautiful work. Tom Spiewak was doing a fantastic job working with the crew to make sure everything went well.
