THADSON FLOORING

Recently Thadson flooring installed about 1600 sq ft of wood flooring and a wood stairway in our home replacing carpet and old wood flooring. From our initial meeting, John Locke, Manager demonstrated a professionalism, attention to detail and care about our home and specific concerns which far surpassed representatives from three other companies. He visited our home several times during the project to ensure our satisfaction, coordinated with our kitchen and railing contractors to avoid delays and followed through in addressing any concerns. Thadson's installation team led by Carlos was outstanding from demo day to finishing touches. Carlos is a perfectionist who takes great "old world" pride in his work and he treated our home as it was his own. They were better than competively priced and we couldn't be happier with the final result.

From start to finish, this was a great experience. The price was fair and there was a great selection to choose from. Once we decided what we wanted and placed our order, there was little wait time for it to arrive and we were scheduled for installation shortly thereafter. The installation guys were professional and courteous, as well as being respectful of our home and family time. Our floors turned out beautiful and we were so pleased with the workmanship. I wouldn't hesitate to use them for our next project. Great job!!!

This is the third installation by Thadson for us and again a great job! First was installation of hardwood floors in half of our upstairs; second was installation of hardwood in the remainder of our upstairs and the replacement of our carpeted staircase with wood stairs (total for the two installations of about 1800 square feet). We have now added a beautiful carpet runner on our stairs so that our aging dog does not slip going up/coming down. Tom's crew has also refinished our dining room wood floor which is original to the house (25 years) and it is beautiful and perfectly matches the wood floors in our downstairs. I can't say enough about Tom and Evie (owners) and their crews - great service; waiting time between order and installation is never long; crews always on time and never leave so much as a speck of dust when done...have recommended them to friends who have been as pleased as we are.

In May 2014 we had a ceiling collapse in one of our bedrooms and needed to have new drywall, paint and new carpet. We chose Thadsons for the carpeting because of a previous positive experience with a new tile floor in our family room. The carpeting installation was done well. and looks great.

Thadson's personnel was pleasant and helpful throughtout my decision process both within their store and over the phone and the work crew was courteous, arrived on time, completed work within the time frame expected and cleaned up everything after installation. The price was comparable to other quotes I received.

The price was really good and their work was superb. They were recommended to us by our real estate agent who uses them regularly. When finished, they left everything spotless.

Overall, the service and workmanship were excellent. The estimator explained the options for repairing and replacing the areas on the first floor and we selected the method we liked best. The work crew was under the supervision of an excellent foreman and was punctual and cleaned up everything at the end of the day. One year later, we are happy with our floors and have had none of the problems we encountered years ago with the installation on our first floor.

I called and schedule an appointment for lunch time during the week. They came out (5 minutes late - not horrible). Mr. Spiewick discussed the particulars with me, while Mr. Locke used a pad, pencil, and laser pointer to map out the exact measurements and specifications of my flooring job. The finished plan was very impressive. Unfortunately, we did not choose them and went with the cheapest price. Big mistake. We verified first that the providers website indicated we were in his service area. We were. When I called up I verified this again an received a positive response. We wanted the flooring on one floor of our home replaced with 2.25" prefinished red oak. The provider kept asking me to come down to look at samples and I responded that we know exactly what we want and are looking for an estimate. The providers response remained come in and look at samples. The provider advertising servicing our area and was unable or unwilling to do so. Poor service in my book.

The work team was very professional, careful and cleaned up after themselves.They offered us several selections of shoe molding, and widths of grouting gap. They arrived on time, worked very conscientiously, finished in one day and the final product turned out beautiful. The estimating process was very informative and professional and the price was very competitive.

The installation crew was top notch. On time, professional, courteous, and helpful with answers to a few questions and minor adjustments based on our preferences. They were meticulous with clean up each day. Follow-up from Tom, the owner, was thorough and as frequent as necessary. We are pleased with the product, the installation, and the customer service.

Thadson Flooring is a great resource for your floor covering needs. Eric is a great project manager an took the time to listen to what I wanted. He and his installers were very professional and did a great job refinishing over 1,000 sq ft. of wood flooring and installing a mid-century pattern VCT floor in my basement. Both jobs turned out great and the cost was very reasonable for the work performed.

They were a good company. They were professional, honest and reputable. They did what they were supposed to. They did a good job.

Thadson Flooring is fantastic! Eric prompty called me after I submitted my service request and I had a free estimate visit setup within a couple days and a service appointment setup in a few days after that! The technicians arrived on time and did a better job than I could have imagined. I wasn't sure what to expect as the hole in my berber carpet was really bad. They were able to use a scrap piece to patch the hole and the technician called Eric to let him know he needed another piece for for the closet and Eric went to the warehouse and grabbed a piece of carpet and delivered it to my home so the tech could finish! ABOVE AND BEYOND my expectations and did not charge me one penny more than my estimate. I will use Thadson for all my carpet and flooring needs.

It went well. We are pleased with the work they did in both the refinishing and carpet installation. For the refinishing, they matched an adjoining floor surface in color so well that one is unaware of it having been a different job. For the carpeting installation, we were especially pleased that the disruption was minimal. As they instructed us, we removed breakables and packed up items that were on tables or closet floors. Everything else including heavy furniture was moved by Thadson. They took pictures of the rooms so that they were able to reassemble the rooms correctly. They cleared all trash and left things in order. From the initial contact through the estimates, scheduling, and work, things went smoothly. The employees we dealth with are professionals who know what they are doing and deliver a finished product that is well-done.

Thadson was very professional in their work. There was complexity here because we wanted a heat mat underneath the floor. He told us what could be done and what couldn't, what the warranty would cover, and how the process would be different from a normal install. When it was clear that my GC did not know this info, we all agreed that Thadson should do the install vs. just supply the flooring (which was the original plan). The work was done promptly and professionally. I might have gotten a better price if I just shopped around for the materials and labor, but am very confident in the quality of the work. Dustin was communicative, straightforward and professional in all my dealings with him over this somewhat complex task and was overall very easy to work with. I'll definitely go with them in the future. P.S. about a year earlier they did a really nice job on putting in ceramic tile in my screened-in porch. Again, maybe not a rock bottom price but a really high quality job.

I was very happy with them. They responded quickly and they were very thorough and professional. They were very honest. I would use them again in the future if I needed to.

Excellent service! Timely estimate, work was completed on short-notice and on schedule on my preferred day. Easy transaction from start to finish. No complaints. Would recommend, would use again. As far as price, I thought it was steep; however I needed the service completed on a tight schedule and with existing materials. Other installers required sales for install. I did not get another estimate due to my requirements.

We solicited estimates from a number of companies and narrowed our consideration down to Thadson Flooring and one other company based on their ability to provide the Mirage engineered flooring that we wanted. Eric Lee was outstanding in his customer service and responsiveness, answering a number of questions that we had in soliciting his proposal, and by providing a clear and detailed estimate quickly. We ultimately chose another contractor based on price, though the difference was not great. Although we did not choose Thadson for our work this time, we would definitely want to consider them again, particularly working with Eric Lee, when we have further flooring work that needs to be done.

After having our basement finished by another contractor, we had Berber carpet, engineered hardwood and ceramic tile installed in our basement by Thadson Flooring and I don't think we could be any happier with the outcome. Tom was very knowlegable about all the products we talked about and I never got the feeling that he was trying to "sell" anything. I did a little research about what we were getting into and I felt very comfortable with the answers to my questions. Tom was very helpful in selecting the final products and even the colors. The installation went pretty smooth and they were done within a half a day of when he said they would be. No too bad for a contractor! The finished result is absolutely beautiful. It looks better than I thought it would, and my wife agrees. We have and would definitely recommend Thadson Flooring to anyone. Great job and great experience!

Could not have been better. Everything went perfectly.

Workmen showed up on time and started quickly. They worked diligently and kept the area very clean. They were able to finish the job in 2 days and came back on the 3rd day to ensure that everything was done correctly and to make sure everything was clean. The floors look wonderful and we are very pleased with the work. We are planning on having them come back to sand and refinish our wood floors.

In all cases, the work was done efficiently and beautifully. The dustless vacuum system of sanding wasgreat and eliminated dust spreading throughout the house almost entirely. The workers were clean and tidy and made sure to dry between coats of polyurethene during very humid weather. I would definitely call them again.
