I contacted Richstone through Angie's list. Super easy. They had a special online for $2075 for 50 Sq Ft of granite. I knew I wanted granite so it was pretty easy for me. They were very persistent reaching out to me over a few months. I was finally ready to put the money down and have them come to measure. The day I scheduled to measure I needed to reschedule. Someone came out anyway even after I cancelled. I was home in the end so it worked out... After measuring I was called by an assistant from the office to say they needed to come back out. This is honestly the only negative thing I have to say about the experience. The office assistant wasn't knowledgable about the process and misspoke to me twice. Sofia the main contact for me worked it out, but I explained how I didn't feel comfortable that they needed to come back out to measure. In the end, they needed to design a template since I had different angles. Installation day was 3/6/2015 and it was the day after our large snow storm. I was given the time 10am-12pm that day. They arrived at 11:58am. So, I was happy. They were professional and VERY QUICK. They had my old counters out and the new ones in within 2 hours. They look good, and did a wonderful job. The plumber arrived at 2:05pm and my plumbing for the new sink was done very quickly. He was very professional as well. They cleaned up after themselves, and let me ask questions which is important to me. They were friendly and helpful. I'm happy with the job they did and the time they did it. For $2,200 we got: 1- Deep Sink 1- New detachable silver faucet 35 Sq Ft - Black/tan granite counters cut with edges and seal Installation/Plumbing/Demo/Removal I'm very happy with the final product.

It turned out really good. Scheduling was easy. The staff was fine. The first guy came out and did the survey, and then the installers came about a week later, and they were all good. They had a great price. I would tell others that it is a good company and to go for it. They are on Angie’s List and they have got a good rating. I would recommend them. Their prices are better than most other places. There were some issues with a few things. They were on time.

Richstone was very responsive during initial consultations, follow up questions and then during installation. They went above and beyond to make sure we were happy.

After sending an initial email for an estimate appointment Sofia, in the sales office, responded quickly with available times and dates. The installer showed up on time with samples and took measurements. Sofia responded in about 2 days with a quote. I had a bunch of questions and each email I sent and phone call I made was addressed. I had been researching having granite counters installed for a few weeks and had few other estimates to consider. The purchase of their Big Deal coupled with the awesome help from Sofia made going with Richstone an easy choice. The installers showed up on time and quickly got to work. They took care to cover the floor and even came with their own paper towels to wipe up their mess. They were finished in under 4 hours and the counters look great! I noticed that the level on my bar top was slightly off after the job was finished and Sofia was once again responsive in sending the installers back out to correct the issue quickly. I love my new counters and have nothing but positive things to say about this experience...even the minor hiccups were handled with great professionalism. I'd recommend this company to anyone looking for granite and would certainly consider them for future jobs.

Note: We did not hire Richstone to do our kitchen due to the awful customer service. This review is for the customer service only. I called approximately 2 weeks prior to schedule an in-home consultation for cabinet and countertop design for our kitchen. We selected a day I could stay home from work and I was given a 2 hour window. 2:30-4:30. 2:30 rolls around and I get a call that they have overbooked and need to reschedule me. Well, why me? They just insist that they have too few workers and need to reschedule for tomorrow morning. I cannot do the next day since I took off today for this appointment. I need to be at work the following day. The lady on the phone says she'll ask the owner to come by instead. 3:30 comes around and I get a call from the owner. He can't make it until 6pm this evening because he has "too many other customers" and cannot get to my house. I have another appointment at that time that will force me to be away from the house. I understand that flexibility is necessary at times, but isn't that why they give you a two hour window? When I told the owner that I expected him to be there during the time frame he promised or he would no longer have my business, he tried to review my order with me ("counter tops and cabinets, right?") which did not address what I had said. He then said that he could be by at 6 again. At this point, I canceled their service, with a raised voice from the owner and a lecture about how busy they are during the holidays. It is not the customer's fault if a business overbooks themselves. It is not my problem to deal with. Appointments should be honored as they are made for a specific reason. If you value your time and decent customer service, do not bother with this company.

From every aspect, home office field measurer, and installer - all exceeded my expectations. Just a quality job at a reasonable price. Received excellent selection advice form main office. Installer did an excellentjob making sure all was good prior to leaving.

Richstone from the start was nothing but amazing. Michelle worked with us from the beginning by helping to setup a measurement appointment. The gentleman who came to measure was actually a bit early(which is rare these days) , but that was by far more acceptable and welcomed than being way late. Once inside, he asked what we wanted to do, went over some various options and even answered questions regarding particular styles of granite that would work in our kitchen. A template was created and I was told I would receive a quote within approximately 24 - 48 hours. Sure enough, I received multiple quotes for various options that we had discussed. This was very helpful in our decision making process. Once we decided on our layout and options, we signed our contract and submitted payment on a Saturday. The next Wednesday, we had our new counter tops installed by an amazing team. This team of two was very friendly, quick and thorough.

The team at Richstone was amazing. I received calls as needed to ensure I knew everything needed to ensure a smooth measurement and install. When I mentioned that I was having problems finding a sink I liked that could be delivered on-time, they even searched for one for me, purchased it, and brought it with them when they installed the granite. In addition, their plumber was very friendly and definitely knew what he was doing....not a single drip. He even installed my new garbage disposal at a very reasonable price. This contractor would get an A++ from me.

Installation went quickly, but not 100% smoothly. The plumber they use (a subcontractor) didn't show up on the day my counters were installed due to a transportation problem, and when he finally came over a few days later he spent most of his time yelling at me for things that were not rally my fault (for instance, he went to the wrong home in my neighborhood and yelled at me for not living there). His workmanship was good, but his demeanor was ridiculous. I would have given Richstone an A had it not been for this man. The people who actually are employed by Richstone are tremendous.

Great family company. Great prices and great service. Will definitely use them again.

Richstone was so easy to work with from start to finish. We went to their new showroom that is still being built. After providing them with our estimated measurements, they sent us to a wholesaler to pick out our granite. We made several trips and several different selections before we settled on our original choice. Sophia continuously supported us through the process, changed our quote with each different selection we made as appropriate. Once we made our final choice, her Dad came to the house and measured, the wholesaler delivered them the piece of granite and I went and looked at the templating to make sure I was happy with how they were going to cut it out. They arrived two days later, an hour early, and installed our new counter tops.

We went to their store and picked out the granite and they gave us an estimate. They had a special for a free sink and faucet. We went to some big box stores and Richstone Granite priced their granite at $29 a square foot and I couldn't get Corian or any other more fabricated countertop for under $35 a square foot so they were really affordable. We told them what our budget was and it wasn't very much because we are a military family. They told us what our granite options were in that price range and what it would include and what the cost would be and what edges were included. Once we decided to go with them we went to one of their two warehouse to pick out our slab of granite. It was a really neat experience. If we call them they pick up the phone right away but I would prefer email and they are not as responsive. They were really, really nice. They were there 5 minutes early.

I believe that the people at Richstone Granite were very professional. We still enjoy our counter tops very much. The window counter top was not cut to the correct width, so we had to decide to take off our trim from the wall. We also had to fix the drywall, which we were kind of expecting to do anyways. Everything is now beautiful and we love our Kitchen.

I emailed Richstone with what I was looking for and they were very responsive and they had some granite remnants in the color that I was looking for. My wife and I went to their shop. The gentleman working that day was not nearly as professional as the individual that we dealt with over email and on the phone. When we wanted to look at different remnants, which required moving slabs, he was reluctant. Throughout the process, it was not that engaged and seemed more concerned with leaving for the day. When they came to measure, everything went well and the installation was spot on. The price for the remnant was excellent and there were no quality issues.

Called first to get a quote. Natalie was quick and provided the quote in a few hours and followed up with several phone calls. I requested the on site measurement on a Saturday, which they managed to accommdate. The technician also brought over the stone samples for us to choose from. After signing the contract, they sent out contractors and plumbers in one week as promised. The installation was high quality. They also cleaned up after done. (We do need to do more vacuuming and wiping, considering they are contractors not maid). One minor issue is that the technician and the contractor were both late for the appointment (less than an hour). I did have to call to ask when they will arrive. However, it is acceptable to me since they do need to come all the way from NOVA to Fredrick.

We needed to match some existing countertop, and Paradiso seems to be getting scarce. The young ladies at the shop were very helpful in digging out and displaying for us their stock and helping us select the best match. Less than a week later we had our new countertops and were very satisfied.

Project is still going on. So far outstanding service in every respect from planning to installation. They take the time to get it right.

Everything went extremely well. They did what they were supposed to do. They were friendly, efficient and professional. I would recommend them to others and would use them again.

My girlfriend recommended Richstone after her countertops were installed. I stopped by Richstone's Springfield office and they were friendly and helpful. They came out to measure so I could get an idea of cost. They sent me to East West to pick out slabs and were very helpful in directing me to 4 other granite distributors. After selecting two slabs, Richstone came out to measure again. It took two trips and about 3 hours spent time with 2 Richstone employees deciding how to cut the granite; they were helpful and patient. On11/12/2011 two Richstone installers arrived with my fabricated granite. They took their time installing and ensuring that the granite was installed correctly. My kitchen looks glorious. I couldn't be happier with Richstone.

The experience with them was not good. We wanted an exotic granite and it took us a while to find one that we wanted. We finally found two slabs. It was a very light color and it was impossible for them to find a similar one. I went to pick it out at the distributor center they sent us to. They came to our house and measured. We signed a contract and gave them a deposit. After that they found out that they had actually sold those slabs to somebody else and they were not able to replace them. They couldn't find them so they sent me around looking for it everywhere. Three months later we had still not found anything similar and they refused to give our deposit back. They were extremely unprofessional. I contacted the distributor but the manufacturer is the one that we have the contract with. They are responsible for actually getting us the slabs that we picked out. With a little bit of a push from the distributor, they did finally give our deposit back. They turned out to be so unprofessional. They avoided the issue and wouldn't contact me back. I would leave messages and wouldn't hear from them. It took more than a year to solve. They were very responsive until we signed the contract.

It went very well. After I chose the granite I wanted for my counters (Saturday), they came out on Monday (Memorial Day) and installed the countertops. I was worried since the counters had to be cut into smaller peices because the stairwell was too narrow. However after they put it together, you can barely even notice the cuts. Overall, The counters look FANTASTIC. The price was the best I had been quoted for the granite I had chosen. They even threw in deeper sinks (9" as apposed to the 4" sinks I had previously). I highly recommend them for any countertop needs you may have.

They were fabulous and super fast. Their ordering was fast and their installation was fast. The workers were knowledgeable and courteous. They were hooked up with the wholesaler but their selection was all in all. They really worked easily and well to make sure that the part of the granite slab that you wanted is supposedly the part that you've got. When you pick up the slab it actually measures 7 by 10 and it's a huge piece so you don't exactly know how much you are going to get. They help you place the template, they draw on the slab to make sure that you knew exactly what you're going to get and it was awesome.
