The man I spoke with was very nice, and I would recommend to anyone to get an estimate from them. Prices were good, and I think I spent more money with the company that I ended up using, but that company provided more personal service.

We decided to replace our old carpet with hardwood (two floors totaling around 900 sq ft and two staircases). After some research I found these guys. Their website was representative of their work and described their services in a quite compete fashion. When we hit the store we had just a few questions to ask and things to confirm. The sales person was helpful but not pushy. He also happened to be the one to do the estimate. The free estimate was very prompt and professional. As a heads-up, they require only 5% material overhead. The work was split into two phases. They did one floor and one staircase during phase one, and the rest of the work during phase two. A team of three guys appeared on the first scheduled date before 9am. They helped us finish moving a few little things out of the way, moved large furniture, removed the carpet, installed the hardwood, cleaned up the space, and arranged the furniture the original way. All that took them around 8 hours. We wanted a few things to be done a certain way (e.g. wood color mix, plank length mix/layout). They understood the requests and did it the way we wanted. Approximately a week later a reduced team of two guys came exactly as scheduled. Everything happened the same way as the first time - fast and professional. They even helped me attach felt pads to a heavy piece of furniture. The floors and staircases look great. I will definitely work with K & K Floors again and recommend them to my friends.

Patrick Liu gave us our estimate, very accommodating. The job involved removing all carpeting and underlying material in 4 bedrooms, 6 closet areas, and a connecting hallway. A 2 man crew for 2 days. Old carpet and pad was cut-up and removed. All wood cutting and sawing was done outside, which eliminated one major dust factor. Crew did all the heavy lifting of furniture. The finished job was excellent. Hardwood was prefinished Bruce.

They were very reasonable. They did a very good job.

They are incredibly good. It's just amazing--the floors look like something out of a magazine. Their price was lower than another company who wouldn't even touch the sub-flooring. They did a lot of work, and they pay special attention to the trim work. They made it look really, really good--I just can't say enough good things about them. Because Bruce doesn't make steps, they had to buy unfinished wood and stain it themselves. Their labor price for the custom steps was slightly high compared to their other installation labor price, but their square-footage installation price was lower than other companies. We had some serious problems with the sub-floor, and they were able to resolve all of the issues. They even put in screws on the level parts to make sure it doesn't squeak. We are planning to have them back once we save up money for another project. They were very quick--they planned to spend three days on the project, and they were finished in two and a half days. We were very impressed with their craftsmanship. Their prices were very fair for the high quality work they do. It's just a work of art and very, very beautiful! They also give you a gift when they are done, which is a Bruce hardwood cleaning system.

From multiple companies found on Angie's List, I received in-home estimates from six, deciding on K & K floors for a number of reasons, including a reasonable price for the work. Mr. Cho was very knowledgeable and responsive from the start, answering all of my questions promptly, and always available during business hours. Though he didn't personally supervise the work, all of the workers were employees of K & K floors, and there was always at least one on-site who spoke English. The work was completed in one day, as promised, and to my specifications. While Mr. Cho didn't come out on the day the flooring was installed, he did return to look at the two areas I was unhappy with (as stated above) and was quick to offer solutions to the problems. He sent two of his guys out to fix the areas we identified, and they did an impeccable job. They even waited for me to get home to ensure I was satisfied with the job before they left. My flooring is perfect, and everyone who sees my house is amazed at how beautiful it looks. I will definitely use K & K floors again in the future.

Patrick Liu, sales person, was responsive, helpful, polite and extremely easy to work with! He was helpful in selecting type of hardwood and didn't pressure us to commit to anything. We obtained prices from multiple companies and K and K was the only company that wasn't charging extra for every aspect of the job. We were very pleased with K and K Floors and would definitely use the company again.

While other companies only wanted to give me an estimate after I had made my final choice, this company worked with me all through the decision process. I had gotten 4 estimates from well recommended companies. All were well over K & K's price. The workers who installed the floor worked very efficiently & effectively, moving furniture & completing almost 1500 square feet in 2 days. The crew leader spoke English and immediately put to rest any questions or concerns. Wow! If all my experiences with contractors could be like this, I'd be in heaven! They made the whole experience, from estimate to installation, a wonderful experience and beat the price of 3 other recommended companies! You are doing everything right. You take all the stress out of having work done on your home.
