STAY AWAY! First the good: We hired K & K in 2014 for some big projects in our then-new home (new to us). We had them install carpets in 4 large bedrooms, replace carpets with hardwoods on our second floor, and refinish all the hardwoods on our main level. My POC was Michael Miles, they were very reasonably priced, and Michael and K & K's crew were nothing short of amazing. As a result, when we wanted to replace the carpet in our family room in 2019, I called only one flooring contractor: K & K (specifically Michael). They replaced the carpet in our family room on February 8, 2019, and everything went well. That was in 2014 and 2019. Now the bad: A year later, the carpet in our family room started to buckle. I reached out to Michael, and he promised K & K would stretch the carpet. He indicated that K & K was overbooked and asked for patience, which I gave. He kept putting me off for well over a year. One day, a new representative, Ricardo Perez, answered Michael's line and indicated that Michael had left the company. I asked Ricardo to honor K & K's promise to stretch the carpet and also to provide some estimates on additional projects. Ricardo agreed to stretch the carpet and also provided the requested estimates. Three months later, Ricardo informed me that K & K management had decided not to fix the carpet unless we agreed to hire them for additional projects. I was shocked that after an eight year relationship, they had decided to renege on their promises (and over such a small job - stretching our family room carpet) and actually attempted to blackmail me into hiring them for additional work! So I say again - STAY AWAY! This company has slipped a lot over the past eight years and does not honor their commitments.

I had an excellent experience with K&K Floors! From the minute I walked into their shop, I knew that they were pros and they guided me through the selection of hardwood flooring. I replaced the flooring throughout the house, including the staircase, and the installation was extremely well done! The installation crew was outstanding and very professional. I would not hesitate to recommend K&K to anyone!

This is the second time I have used K&K hardwood. I first used them on recommendation of a friend. Both times the price and customer service both were really fantastic. And I truly love my hardwoods!

Few years ago, K&K removed my carpet and installed hardwood floor on the 2nd floor in my townhouse, they did a great job with the installation, put all furniture back, and cleaned up all the mess. Few months ago (3/2020), I called K&K again to replace my carpet on the 3rd floor with hardwood and the stairwell, they a wonderful job once again. I have recommended K&K to my brother and friends from work. They are too happy with the work. Mr. James So is very professional, very knowledgeable, prompt, and very sweet. Excellent experience from the start to the finish. John gave us the estimate to replace flooring in almost the entire house including the stairs and the price was very fair. The installation was also very professional- the guys worked tirelessly for three days, took care in moving furniture, and always cleaned the work areas every night. We were extremely happy with the results and would highly recommend this company!

They were great, very professional, on-time, answered all my questions and provided an estimate.

We needed to have the flooring redone in our laundry room area. We had to work with another contractor first to have the sub flooring replaced (it had moisture damage), but once that was done it was as simple as picking out the tile, them taking measurements, and sending over a quote. Mike was great to work with and kept the same quoted price even when the tile we picked was out of stock and a more expensive version had to be used. The floor looks great and I'll be hiring them again for a few other rooms in my house in the future. They were also very quick with the work (about 155sq.ft.) and the installation took maybe 3-4 hours.

We could not be happier with the result. Utter professionalism, excellent craftsmanship and a fine sense of aesthetics. The crew was on time, even early and worked late till everything was done. They did superb work. The owner is very knowledgeable, advised as well and made sure that every detail was taken care of. We spontaneously decided to have more work done by this company.

K&K installed hardwood floors on one level of my townhome and on two flights of stairs. From the initial estimate/sale through the installation, everyone I worked with was just wonderful. The sales manager (Mike) was so helpful and available whenever I had questions, and the two gentlemen who completed the installation were very professional and did a wonderful job. I would recommend this company to anyone interested in new flooring.

K&K Hardwood Floor did a great job installing hardwood flooring on my stairs and throughout the upper level of my home. They matched it with the downstairs Bruce hardwood floor. The product and work quality are excellent. They arrived on time and completed the work in the time they promised. The installers were professional and polite especially as they checked with me to make sure they were moving the furniture back to the right positions. They even tightened the subfloor to level and eliminate squeaks!! Every morning I am still thrilled with the way the final flooring looks and am only sorry I waited so long to do this project. I too highly recommend them and would use them again.

Unfortunately my experience with K & K Flooring was absolutely horrendous. I had a service pro come out and give me an estimate on tearing out old carpet and replacing the carpet on my stairs with flooring that matched the color and texture of my laminate. After talking with the service pro he convinced me that they would have no problems matching the laminate with the treads that will go on the stairs and gave me a fair price. In early June, we went to K & K to sign paperwork and submit payment and scheduled the service for July 25th. This is when things went south very quickly. On July 23rd, two days before the service date, the service pro contacted me asking if he could reschedule for the following Monday because one of his installers quit or went on vacation or something. Not a big deal only a couple days later. Saturday July 28th rolls around and I get a call saying that they can't find a stain that properly matched my laminate flooring. Not good considering this should have been discovered much earlier. The service pro said he was going to try a couple things and let me know how they turned out. Early the following week he asks me to come in to take a look at their sample because they cannot find a close match to the flooring in my living room. My wife and I go in on Saturday August 4th to look at a sample that looked like gray paint on wood, not even close to what our laminate looks like. We talk and look at different samples on the K&K floor until we come across one that we could make work. Not the 98% match that I was promised at the beginning of the project but with a baby due in a couple weeks we just wanted it close and the floor to be installed. The service pro said he would make it happen and that his installers would be there the following Wednesday, August 8th. I asked for a sample to be dropped of before it was to be installed. Needless to say they cancelled the August 8th date because they couldn't match the stain to the floor. I received the sample on Thursday, August 9th which again looked like gray paint on some wood. Not even a 50% match of our current floor. After some back and forth of them saying "let me try this", "let me try that" I had finally had enough. Their lack of communication and professionalism truly blew my mind. I ended up being refunded but truly wasted 2 valuable months with a newborn on the way. After reading such amazing reviews in June I truly thought this place would do me right and I would be happy with the project but I could not have been more disappointed with how misled I was throughout this process. It truly is a shame how high my hopes were and how forgiving I was during this process but please avoid this company at all costs. It could not have been that difficult of a project as we went to Sherwin Williams to see if they would match the color and they did it within 48 hours. I'm not a business owner but if you can't match a color in house, I would do everything I promised the customer I would do to match the stain even if I had to use a new distributor for a project. K&K you truly are a disappointment and I hope no other families have to experience the headache I've gone through.

K&K Hardwood Floor did a great job installing both our hardwood and tile floors. The product and work quality were excellent. They arrived on time and completed the work in the time they promised. The installers—Areli and Domingo—were professional, polite, and treated our home and us with respect. They repaired and tightened the subfloor to level and eliminate squeaks—and the final flooring looks amazing! We would definitely highly recommend them and would use them again for future flooring needs.

The movers were here at the time that was arranged. They were very professional and courteous.

This was our third time using this company and it finished up our hardwood installation. This time around they did not seem to pay as much attention to little details as before. We know that the final cleaning of the floors is our responsibility. However, when the install crew gets a black sticky substance on the surface of the wood they should clean it up. It took us hours over several days with lots of elbow power to remove it. Having had this type of wood installed twice before we had not had this problem. It was in all four rooms and the hallway, here a spot there a spot. We still have the basement floor to do with another type of flooring and will probably use K&K again. The staff is easy to work with and they have a good selection of flooring options.

This is a follow up review to the one I posted earlier. We had some big issues with the hardwood floors that were installed in August of 2017. K&K made things right and did an excellent job with my floors. K&K made good recommendations about more durable and easy to maintain floors. The new floors look amazing and the follow up from Mike and Sunny was fantastic. K&K really cares about their customers and making sure they are happy with the end product.

Professional, not pushy. Price Point is excellent. Compared 5 vendors to include Costco. We got more bang for the buck!! Workers were on time and courteous. Very diligent!! Will definitely go back again for other room.

They did a great job. It looks really good.

A little more expensive than some other companies but worth every penny. Bundles of flooring delivered Friday before Monday install date. Sat in dining room to acclimate to house temperature and humidity. Two man installation team arrived right on time Monday AM and went right to work. We'd previously removed all contents from hutch and sideboard - install crew moved hutch, sideboard and dining room table. Installed dust barriers before beginning flooring and carpet removal. Installers worked steadily throughout morning and until about mid afternoon before taking short break. Finished installation by dinner time. Kept very neat work site, all cutting done outside, good clean up after completing work, hauled away all debris. Installed floor protectors on all pieces of furniture. Moved hutch, sideboard and table back into dining room. While doing major deep cleaning of foyer, hall and dining and new floors before moving everything back into place I found two minor discrepancies I'd missed on final walk through with installation team. Contacted John Kim as soon as discrepancies were discovered. He said he'd arrange for a service call. Didn't hear anything during the holiday season and figured K&K was busy finishing jobs for Christmas.New Years. Emailed John shortly after New Years and he had a service technician come out the next day and take care of the problems. I'd definitely hire K&K for future work. What would I do differently? Our basement and stairs leading down to it are unfinished. The nail gun fires staples through both the flooring and sub flooring. Sub flooring is usually plywood sheathing. The staples are longer than the depth of the new flooring and sub flooring. They're fired at high velocity and when the tips of the staples burst through the bottom of the sub flooring they generate lots of splinters. Had I known this I would have covered everything below the work area with a drop cloth or plastic sheeting to make basement clean up much easier. If you've got a finished basement you'll be fine because all that debris will remain trapped between the floor above and the ceiling below.

The hard wood floor installation went very smoothly. The KK rep called us and let us know the schedule ahead of time and it was mainly done without our supervision. Needless to say, excellent job !! 👌🏻 (got Angies list discount too !)

This is the second time I have used them. They are outstanding. They matched the old flooring downstairs perfectly. They were quick and did it all in one day. They were very professional and nice to work with. I got a good deal with the price as well and I would highly recommend them.
