Description of Work: Replaced wood post and rotted wood from water damage to carport roof, replaced gutter on carport roof. Rehung siding over wood. Damaged some roof tiles when replacing gutter and I had to call them fix the tiles. Came out the same day to repair them.

Description of Work: Beyond exteriors replaced our roof--removed original slate and replaced it with shingles. George (the owner) is a fantastic communicator, is honest, courteous, professional, and goes above and beyond to make you feel good about your choices, understand the work needed, and feel generally valued as a customer. I'd highly recommend him. While replacing our roof, one of our basement windows was broken by falling slate. George called us right away, and came and replaced the window himself, AND replaced another pane of glass that was broken when we bought the house, just because (for free of course!). I went back to Beyond Exteriors a few months later when we were looking to replace all the windows in our home, and while I ultimately went with another company (windows are not their bread and butter, and so we went with someone who could give us a more competitive price for quality windows), I will miss working with George. My only point of feedback for beyond exteriors, is that I think they could be more affordable. Pricing seems to be on the high end and the customer service certainly makes it worth it, so I will come back and maybe that is just the price of good service.

Description of Work: I looked up roofers for our area on Angie's list with the best on list. I called Beyond Exteriors and left a message for a roof inspection. Andrew Maravas contacted me and we made an appointment for the initial estimate along with photos to send the insurance company. He sent them via e-mail the following day. I sent it to my insurance company. They were a wonderful company to work with during all aspects of the installment. The insurance company ok'd the estimate but we had to wait for my husband to get back into the country for his signature on the check. The roof was installed on Dec. 28th with a return to complete the job on the 2nd of Jan.. They replaced two plywood boards that were in need of replacement due to damage from an antenna that had been on the roof and had been blown off the roof during a storm. They also received phone calls from two of my neighbors and they are replacing and repairing their roofs this week. I only payed the deductible and the insurance covered the rest.

+ -1 moreWe've had at least 7 contractors in for estimates on a slow leak, including our insurance company. Since no one could pin point where the issue was occurring (windows, roof, etc) we got different answers and estimates from each company. Beyond Exteriors is the only company that recommended we fix all potential issues but they also suggested we do it in the most cost effective way. Other companies were recommending things like replacing the entire roof and windows, etc. George got back to me very quickly with all my requests and they also completed the work efficiently. Unfortunately, since its a slow leak, we won't know the results of their work for some time but we were pleased with what was done and are hoping for the best.
Description of Work: Recaulk windows on third level, replace ridge vent and install ice protection behind siding and under shingles where roof meets wall.

The guys came in and did the job with no issues and they cleaned up after themselves each day pretty thoroughly. WE had some minor issues with scheduling but it all worked out in the end. Quality of the work was really good as well....

Description of Work: George Simmons conducted the estimate for skylight installation. He was very courteous and professional, explaining the project in detail. He and his office were responsive to questions and submitted the proposal quickly. We chose to go with another contractor mostly due to pricing but would consider Beyond Exteriors for future projects as well.

+ 0 moreWe were so impressed by their professionalism. They came on schedule and completed the work within three days. Just as an aside, this company was the lowest of three bids. The other two bids topped out at $3,500 and $4,500. I couldn't have been more pleased with the result. I would recommend this company wholeheartedly.
Description of Work: Beyond Exteriors prepped and painted the exterior trim of the house. They also replaced and/or repaired the (rotten) sills of several windows. Additionally, (and without charge) they did two minor roof shingle repairs and also resealed the copper roof flashing over the front door.

+ -1 moreGeorge was thorough, professional, and responsive throughout the entire process. The BE estimate was considerably lower than our next lowest estimate (which allowed us room in the budget to make some structural changes as well as replacing the siding). Also, the other guys had estimated the siding job would take three weeks from start to finish. The BE crew was done in three days (and the third day was just finishing touches and clean-up). The new siding looks fantastic and the structural change to the dormers has significantly improved our curb appeal. We bought our house a couple years ago and have disliked its outward appearance the entire time. It's nice to finally come home to a house we like looking at. We'll definitely use Beyond Exteriors again.
Description of Work: Replaced vinyl siding on two small additions with Hardieboard. Changed two dormers from peaks to shed dormers.

+ 10 moreBeyond Exteriors came to my home and insulated my attic with Attic Cat insulation. From the inspection, they actually got in the attic to where other companies did not, and then provided a detailed proposal that was professionally done. Other companies wrote their quotes on a sheet of paper or just verbally gave a price. Beyond Exteriors was by far the most professional. Not to mention there price was very competitive as well. This company does Roofing, Siding, Windows, Gutters, Insulation and Doors. I believe they may even do some interior remodeling as well. (Kitchens, Baths? you would have to check..) Andrew is the person I dealt with for the purchase and George managed the job. His workers were very clean and spoke English. They laid drop cloths and kept my home clean! They have also done work for another friend of mine, Siding and Windows and he had the same experience. I would not hesitate to recommend!

+ 1 moreBeyond Exteriors came recommended from a work colleague who had them recommended by folks in his neighborhood. I called George and he was very responsive - answered and returned phone calls right away. Came out on a Saturday to give an estimate and was able to start the work shortly after being asked. Clearly explained all the issues and what he was going to repair and replace to fix some water infiltration in trim, deck, and roof. Worked all day and cleaned up great afterwards. Has offered to come up back and fix any follow-up issues. Did not push anything unnecessary and was very honest on pricing and what could wait for repair. I would definitely use them again.
Description of Work: Repaired deck and replaced flashing under deck, repaired and replaced rotted wood trim, removed and repaired caulking on roof and deck, caulked screws and corners on roof, replaced deck boards.
