Beyond Exteriors helped to remove the existing concrete and stones, added proper slope, replaced with water proof Duradek, re-attached the gutter with proper flashing. Solved water leaking problem for good! From beginning to end, the company demonstrated their excellent customer service and professionalism with superior expertise. In office Linda is super friendly and efficient, always follow through with calls and timely appointments. Estimator Andrew is very knowledgeable, explained the problem and present the solutions with clear pictures. Andrew is very responsive to follow up questions regarding the proposal, always answer my questions within 24 hours, compare to other companies I have to wait for days to receive email response. My project manager George is very professional and extremely knowledgeable about the subject! He clearly communicated the process, challenges and expectation with me. Patiently answered my questions and concerns. Working with George is like having a good education process, not only got the problem solved, but also learned quite a bit on the subject. The process took three weeks due to heavy rains, at the end of each day the workers cleaned up the work area; if forecast rain the next day, they wrap up the balcony with tarp really well. When project completed they did a very good clean up as if they never been here. And it's worth to mention that with the record heavy rain in July, there is not a drop of water leaked from the balconies! Working with Beyond Exteriors is truly a five-star experience! If I have roofing or siding needs in future Beyond Exterior will be my first choice. And I'd feel confident to recommend Beyond to all my friends!

Everything went perfectly as planned. They were thorough, responsive, and professional. Their work was excellent and clean. When there was an additional item needed, they responded quickly and professionally. They always called to double check their work and verify our satisfaction. They were very organized and easy to work with. Everyone from Andrew to front office staff to the on-site workers were extremely professional and pleasant to work with. I had an exceptionally pleasant experience with Beyond Exteriors. We had a sudden and fairly dramatic leak through an upstairs window when it rained hard. I didn’t know who to call for a small job that was in a difficult-to-reach spot. I found Beyond Exteriors through Yelp. Belinda who answered the phone was delightful. She listened to the problem and made an appointment for Andrew to come and look at the window. He came exactly as scheduled, examined the situation from the roof and from a ladder and clearly explained some options. We scheduled a crew and even though we had ten days of rain that might have delayed the work, the repair crew showed up as scheduled. I was impressed with how seriously the crew took their work and how clearly they explained what they were doing. They were thorough and the price was fair.

The site manager and crews were fantastic, and the final product is exactly as promised.

Very well! Project started out with a leak in my roof that came into my attic. Based on its age, I knew the roof was due to be replaced sooner than later. Beyond Exteriors installed new gutters for my house several years ago and did a nice job, found them at that time on Angies List. George came out for the roofing estimate and took pics of the actual roof and its problem areas. Was provided with shingle samples and catalogue to choose shingle style & color. For the actual job, George showed up on-site during install, made sure things were going smoothly. Given the amount of debris produced, the roofers did a wonderful job cleaning up the work-site - can't even tell they were there! Roof looks great! I love the look of the shingles; they're not the same color and style that were replaced so it's a nice change. Had the shed done too and it looks like it got a face lift. Process from beginning to end was painless (we're also going through a kitchen re-do, and the roof was *a breeze* compared to all that's involved with the kitchen!!). Office staff kept me apprised of the timeline, from when I placed the order to when the guys showed up on-site, and I appreciated that.

They worked directly with our insurance to get us the best possible payout for some hail damage from last summers storm. No signed contract was required until they had all the details worked out and we were satisfied with the estimate and our out of pocket expense. The work was done quickly and professionally. The crew did an awesome job and cleaned up after themselves. We have yet to find any nails or debris left laying around. Office staff is fantastic and always responds right away. The new roof and gutters look great and we will definitely reach out to them for future projects. Very honest company and they stand by their work.

Terribly. They installed mesh gutter screens that are NAILED to the gutters. The gutters clogged despite these permanently-installed screens, and the poorly-installed gutters caused shingles on my roof to come loose and fall off, among other problems. I asked the company to resolve the issue and they told me that I had to remove the nailed-down mesh screens twice a year to clean the gutters. REALLY?? Remove NAILED IN screens twice a year? They also wanted to charge me to repair the damage to my roof that they caused. I must now pay thousands of dollars to repair the damage and install new gutters AGAIN.

Very professional service throughout the project. Estimate provided, with possible contingencies was reassuring. After the installation, site was meticulously cleaned.

The work was scheduled quickly, and the actual job took a little more than a day, performed with incredibly meticulous care and professionalism by a master craftsman. I can't say enough good things about this company. If I could rate them A+++ for everything, I would.

Excellent experience dealing with Beyond Exteriors. Very professional, quick to respond out to provide estimate, and were able to come out the following week to do the job. They installed new gutters and downspouts, leaf guards, and repaired fascia for me, and did a wonderful job. I've had contractors do work at my house, and some are good with clean-up while others aren't. Aside from the fact that I had new gutters etc installed, I couldn't even tell that the installers had been to my house b/c they didn't leave any debris behind. Also, great customer service. I rec'd a call the day prior to confirm installation, then a call afterward to follow-up. Very professional. I rated BE a `B' on price (I gave them an `A' for everything else), as I think their prices may be slightly on the higher end, but, being a gov't worker, I know that choosing a project solely on price is not always beneficial for the customer. I've learned that you pay for what you get. I am very happy with the level of customer service and quality of work received from BE; can't emphasize this enough. I know I'll need a new roof eventually, so I'm definitely going to call them again. I recommend Beyond Exteriors for 1.) quality of work 2.) great customer service 3.) promptness of installers.

Sorry the incorrect dates of 9/10/2014.. I found the invoice and it was 2/18/2013, and it was for $450 not $300.. Also I can only assume that was my neighbors house you did the roofing on since we have the same addresses with on a Letter difference. The guy who does the Quotes was good, on time and detailed... The person doing the work Not good. They were suppose to do the work on Thursday, The next week I get a email that the work was completed and the rest of the payment is due. Funny because No One Ever Did the Work. I called and they had to send a guy out to check the work. They confirmed the work was not done so they scheduled another date for the work. The day came and went, I get home and the Guy only caulked 2 Windows out of the 5 & 0 Awnings. I called back again and they had to send a guy back out to check the work again. They confirmed the 3 Windows & 0 Awnings were completed. They wanted to reschedule the work again. At this point I just cancelled the work. It shouldn't be that hard to get a simple job done.

They have been excellent to work with. We plan on using them again within the next few weeks including replacing rotten wood, roof repairs, gutter cleaning and weather stripping. They have excellent prices compared to other companies we looked into.

We have a rowhouse so the space is relatively small but the pitch is very steep and it's a tricky job. Their crew was very professional, answering all of our questions and working well on some warm days. The slate looks great from the ground (we didn't get an upclose look). Would definitely use them again.

It was a new company, but he was very professional. He knew his stuff. The one thing I was impressed was that he told me that my chimney got cracks so he said that if I wanted to use the old brick he would have to take it down from certain point old bricks that would match would cost more because I would have to break it all part and that would be time consuming. He said if you don't want to pay the extra money that they would just put up new brick and find something to match as close as they could. When they were out there working one day it is like they were cleaning the old brick I said well I can pay you to have your guys do this and the guys said well we couldn't find any brick to match so they were going to go ahead and use the old bricks but they didn't charge me extra for it. I was impressed with it and they did the right thing. In the end they did an excellent job. I would this provider again in the future.

They did not show up for the appointment and they did not even call us! When we called, they told us that there was another urgent appointment they had to attend, and could not come. Very unprofessional! No more business with them,

Initial contact went fine on the phone. Andrew showed up an hour late. Called 30 minutes late and said he was on his way. I thought he was super nice and personable. Seemed professional when I met him. It had rained so he couldn't go on the roof. Said he would come back and that I didn't need to be home. We had several nice days after that and he didn't come back. I had to call at least 4 time to get him to come back. Then I had to wait another week to get a quote. Had to call several times to get that quote. Then I wanted to make a few changes so that took a ton of time as well. It took me about a 4 weeks in total to get the information I needed. Well the timing wasn't great for us so I waited about a month and then reached out to schedule the work in May. I never got a response back. It was quite a turn off. Everyone else seems to like them so maybe we just didn't click but I thought it was very unprofessional. I was super excited about this company because they offered all the services I needed with the exception of customer service which is also important.

After we identified rotten wood in the porte-cochere columns and identified a few other maintenance/repair needs, we decided it was time to switch from using handymen to a company that has a more professional, timely solution: a project manager and teams of skilled technical staff who could tackle tasks that they were qualified and had expertise to do! Andrew came out, complete with a ladder, to get on top of our porte-cochere, and look over the rest of our project work. He took measurements and photos to help him prepare a comprehensive, detailed and professional estimate. We found this company here on Angie's List and we negotiated an Angie's List discount. As is often typical with these projects, we encountered a "surprise" in finding that our porte-cochere columns were made of plywood! They were hollow inside! Andrew advised us on what needed to be done, namely placing water-treated pressured wood columns inside, and then adding some plywood to widen the columns so as to match what we had before, and then place PVC material as the facade. The PVC was painted to match the railings on top. As a result, the whole thing looks brand new and we shouldn't have "rotten wood" problems in the future. One of the benefits of Beyond Exteriors is they have teams of professionals with the right skill sets to come by and address their part of the project. I'd say we had 4-5 teams over the course of three weeks, given occasional weather delays typical of summer in the DC area. The office personnel called a day in advance to advise when their workers would arrive the next day, and to let me know if I needed to be home. That was a much-appreciated professional touch! In short, Beyond Exteriors took care of a lot of work, including some extra unforeseen work, quickly and at a competitive price. We will definitely use them again!

George came over to provide an estimate on replacing three doors and a skylight. George spent a lot of time with us discussing various options. He is very knowledgable and was extremely helpful.

I received quotes from a few other companies and Beyond Exteriors was the cheapest and appeared to be the most professional. All the other companies told me that I had to replace the whole board and it would end up costing twice as much as what Beyond Exteriors did by just wrapping the rake board with aluminum. They said the board was structurally sound so there was no point in replacing it. It was just ugly, so they wrapped it. It's now 7 months later and it's holding up fine. Still looks just as good. I'm glad I saved the $3-400 and went with Beyond Exteriors.

The entire process was easy. Lots of communication in terms of getting the materials delivered, coordinating around weather and during the installation. One minor issue was encountered with furnace vent stack needing repair, they explained to me what they found and offered a solution which resulted in me just paying for the needed materials.

The job went well. Job started and completed in half a day.
