Ace Air Conditioning & Heating Service Inc

We have used ACE for over 20 years to service our HVAC equipment. When our furnace started to have problems, they came 3 different times trying to solve the problem. When the furnace finally quit, during the very cold weather in February, they came in the next day to replace it. The service men worked quickly and cleanly. We had heat that night. They came back the next day to replace the air conditioner.

We blew a fuse on our air handler while installing a new humidistat, and the technician found the problem immediately. He checked to make sure the new humidistat was set up and working correctly. Over the next hour or so, he checked everything out between our two heap pumps and air handlers, and fixed the settings between them, which had been incorrect. $129 is a bit much to change a fuse, but I was paying for his time and information. He took a very long time to answer all of my questions and educate me on all of the components of my HVAC system (I'm a new homeowner so this information was great.) I would definitely call them again.

The experience was very good to say the least. Receptionist (Paula): attentive to my needs, quickly scheduled appointement and county inspection, kept me informed during the project, and responded quickly to some change in the schedule. She was an excellent conduit of communicating and coordinating the project. In my experience, the person on the phone is half of the success of the project. This one didn't misunderstand anything like many in that profession. Estimator (Kevin): was on time, respectful. Timely with e-mailing the estimate. Price: on par with other providers. Installers (Steve and 1 other guy): arrived on time, polite, quick, neat. Got the work done right at the first pass. The location of the new line was challenging, but they creatively addressed it. Came two times for an additional check on gas pressure after several hours of installation. Finally, since the inspector completed earlier, the installers were able to come a day before per my request (so I do not waste another work day) and hook up the stove. They were also very nice, pleasant people, (although this component matters less for me). Final cost: right on the estimate. I will hire them again and do recommend them based on my 1st experience with them.

Purchase furnace from the company via phone call from Afghanistan. Timely install. HOWEVER, wanted to get set up on a regular maintenance plan. The company has had me on a waiting list for a maintenance plan since Feb 2005. We check regularly with the company. It is now Dec 2010 and I am finally going to look elsewhere. this is ridiculus. there is no reason why the company cannot add additional personnel to add more maintenance customers. the weird part is that they are willing to do a service call. Why not a Maintenance agreement on the furnace they installed?

Three trucks of 6 men were on time. They removed the old units and cleaned the area. They installed the new air conditioning and heating units and gave us instructions and guides on using the new equipment. Then cleaned the area once again. The work was thorough and on time!

Great. They gave all the information over the phone. The price was the best. Had lots of estimates. They also got rated very high for quality from neighbors. It was a good choice.

I called Ace and asked if they could come out to diagnose and fix my air conditioning problem (the air conditioner was working, but just not putting out much cool air). They were able to schedule someone within 24 hours to come out. They did a thorough inspection of everything (thermostat, filter, compressor, etc.). The technician cleaned the blower wheel, flushed out the condensate drain, and added refrigerent to the system. Everything worked beautifully once he was done, and I thought the price was very reasonable (I had had similar work done several years before for about the same price with another service company) -- especially since more than half the cost was the refrigerant itself. I was also very pleasantly surprised to receive a postcard from Ace a few years later asking me to call them to set up a follow up courtesy appointment for them to come back and check the refrigerant levels! I thought that was really above and beyond normal good service. I was very pleased with the experience and would definitely use Ace again for heating/cooling needs.

The experience was mediocre. I do not like having appts canceled when my husband or I have re-arranged our schedules. Sometimes this is unavoidable, but to not give us a timely quote was unprofessional.

Wonderful! From first telephone contact with Lindsay (and later Marie) through to Robert's system check on 8/31. We have maintained our HVAC equipment with pre-winter and pre-spring checks. The heating was replaced (by another contractor) in 2008 and the AC in 2009. We called Ace after receiving what seemed to be a very high price quote for the UV light from another HVAC contractor who we held a service contract with. Ace was able to obtain the part for less than one-third of what we had previously been quoted. Lindsay & Marie in the Ace offices were so helpful and professional through several phone calls, and worked diligently to ensure the correct part was ordered and appropriate servicing was organized. Robert arrived right on schedule. He was very professional and took time to give detailed jargon-free explanations on the status of our system and its various components. He also asked -- more than once -- if we had further questions. Dealing with HVAC contractors can be somewhat overwhelming since it involves equipment that is essential but somewhat mysterious. We are much more confident about that state of our equipment after our experience with Ace. We look forward to using them again on a regular basis.

They had installed this unit 3 years ago. It was now out of warranty. After they reviewed and determined where the leak was, the owner discussed with the very professional worker that they would waive the fee even though I did not have a warranty or a contract with them. The leak may have been attached to the brand of the unit, but they saved me the hassle of having to figure all of that out. Even without a contract, they got me in within 3 days, which I was very pleased with.

. First day installed gas line. Next day came back, pressurized line and found no leaks. Excellent service and response to phone calls. Very proffesional both in my home and during phone conversations. I will definitely be using ACE again!

Once he arrived, it took just minutes for him to solve the problem and replace the fuse. This kind of dedication is unheard of. They deserve a medal. We bought our heat pump/air conditioner from them, and always had a service contract. And because of c ontinued excellent service, we will never go with any other company.

They were great and were very knowledgeable. We interviewed 3 companies and they were the ones that knew the most about the credit and which unit to use. They came when they said they would and I called them back for something and they were very prompt to come back to the house and it wasn?t a problem with the unit but understanding how to work it. They were very patient with me in teaching me how to work the whole system and I thought they did a great job. I am going to use them to do my annual contract and they also pointed out that I was covered under warranty for the first year and did not need to do that.

I was very pleased with the prompt, efficient and courteous service which Ace provided. I've been doing business with Ace for years and have never had a disappointing experience with them. It's always a pleasure to speak with the office staff(Marie, Paula, and Lindsay). Kevin, who came out to give me an estimate, was prompt and accommodating. The technicians who installed the system arrived when they said they were going to arrive, and worked non-stop the entire day. They installed a superior thermostat at no extra charge. They will come back in the Spring to make sure everything is operating correctly--again at no additional charge.

They did an A quality job. They explained exactly what they were going to do. They came out promptly and did the work. It was exactly as we expected, and the cost was exactly what we expected. They helped us with a rebate and gave us information on getting a credit back on taxes. They handled everything very professionally. The product works very well.

Superior quality and workmanship at very reasonable price. They are also flexible in different types of system that you would like installed. Main thing is that they will do a quality installation, which will benefit the HVAC system and your home in the long run. The individuals that serviced our home were knowledgable and very professional. They arrived on time and were flexible with our schedule, they will do a superior job to other contractors in the area.

They were very good. The quality of their work was very good. I would use them again in the future.

They are wonderful. The cost is reasonable for everything I have used them for. I managed over 200 properties and every time I deal with this company, it's nothing but prompt, courteous service and they won't over sell on any product. They do what needs to be done, and that's it. This is a great dependable company and I will continue to use them in the future.

I have been happy with them. I thought they were very good and had a good competitive price for what I thought was good equipment. Everything seemed to work fine, except when the home improvement company unplugged it with their equipment. I called them and they came out on a Saturday morning. They came when they were supposed to and people that came seemed to know what they were doing and they were very polite. The workmen that came since then several times to check on things have been nice.

Terrific. They were able to route new pipes through existing drywall without drilling any new holes. They initially showed up with a unit that was smaller than what was needed because they had miscalculated the power of the outside unit (we have 3 units and they picked the wrong one), so at no additional cost they immediately brought in a larger unit and didn't charge us for the larger A/C unit. Showed up on time, very clean work atmosphere. Lower cost than competitor (we shopped around). Would definitely recommend them.

Their work was excellent. They did everything that they needed to do. They cleaned up everything after they were done.

We originally needed our air conditioner replaced so we called them to come out. The unit we chose to replace it with was high efficiency and our furnace would not work with a high efficiency air conditioner unit, so we decided to replace everything at once. I have not had a chance to use either unit yet, however they are very nice units. The crew who came out was very timely and did very good quality work. They were not the cheapest estimate that we received however they have done maintenance for me in the past and I have always been pleased with their service. I was pleased that they stuck to the estimates for both time and cost.

Very honest and extremely punctual. If they say they will be there, they are there. Every technician has been incredibly polite and explains things well. Even their receptionists are very nice!
