Ace performed the heating half of my basic service plan. The technician was very thorough and professional.

We were very pleased with their service from start to finish. They arrived at our home on the same day as our call and quickly diagnosed the issue. They came back the next afternoon to make the repair. The first person was very informative in discussing our options regarding repair versus buy new -- our system is 10 to 12 years old. A different person came the next day to make the repair. He was very professional and detailed in cleaning up afterwards. ACE is definitely a top tier company.

If I could give an A+ rating, I would. The technician was very professional and taught me about the system as he went through his checks. We have an electric heat pump, and the entire service could have easily paid for itself when he noticed a loose connection at the electric panel that had been shorting out. Since this circuit connected two of our emergency heat strips, it was a potential fire hazard. We will definitely use Ace Air Conditioning and Heating for our future HVAC needs. My highest recommendation.

A+++. This was the best experience with a contractor so far. We moved into a forty year old home a couple of years ago. We have fixed the small things, but frequently use contractors for big projects. Ace was on time for the initial meeting and estimate, honored its quote, explained each step of the process clearly, friendly when arriving and leaving, fielded all of our questions before and during the project, and professional and organized while doing an all day job. Our big task was updating an ancient and worn out heating and a/c system. Outside, we switched out a noisy Trane unit on its last leg for a Lennox unit that is so quiet its really unbelievable. In our basement, we had an amateurish, inefficient, and possibly dangerous system that needed to be overhauled. Ace installed a high quality system that looks a lot better and we can already tell it will save us a lot of money each month. After the install, Ace explained the new thermostat, which is an easy to follow touch screen device with WiFi. Ace set up key reminders regarding changing the filters and using the dampers in our home. They went above and beyond our expectations. Everything they did was clearly explained and made sense. They covered all the bases. In the end, we can't think of anything we wished was handled differently. The job went exactly the way you always hope a job goes. I knew once they arrived and got started we were in good shape. Ace was in line with the other contractors on price, but top notch with execution of the job and provided terrific customer service. I will continue to use them for annual maintenance and recommend their service to my friends.

I called the company late that day and told them that my A/C unit was not working upstairs. They responded and said they would be there later that day around 6:00 p.m. I was surprised that they would come out that same day since I called in around 3:00 that day. The technician, Jeff showed up on time. Our A/C unit is located in the attic, so I know it was difficult working in that area, especially with no air. He explained we needed a new motor, he had one on his truck and was able to install it that same evening. He was very personable and explained everything to us very patiently. We were so pleased with his professionalism, that we inquired about getting a new hot water heater for our home. He took down our specifics for the hot water heater, and called his office and gave us a quote that same evening. The quote suited our price range, as we had gotten other quotes, and their quote price was less than the others we had received. We set up installation for the next day (another note about that). We are very pleased with their service and professionalism and recommend them wholeheartedly. Re the hot water heater, the technicians showed up that morning within their specified time range. Again, the technicians were very professional (Oscar and Sayler). They installed the hot/water unit and also while in our basement they cleaned a pipe on our A/C unit there. That was a bonus. Oscar, explained everything to us about the operation of the unit, and was very patient and did not rush the conversation like some techs do because they need to head for the next job. They installed all the necessary other parts also, so our hot water heater would be up to code. They did an excellent job. The next day, we found out there was a leak in our basement from the hot water unit, and we called them early that morning. They showed up within 45 minutes to look at the problem. It was another pipe that caused the leak. We were pleased with their promptness. They fixed the problem, and cleaned up the water and explained what caused the leak. After they left they called us later on to inquire if the unit was working okay. We told them no problems. We were very happy with their service and responsiveness to us as a customer. The company ensures that their jobs are done right and the customer is pleased. We would definitely use them again. .

This was the second time I used ACE for a major installation. The first time I used them for a new furnace. Based on this first experience, I got quotes from four companies, including ACE for the current job. While ACE was not necessarily the cheapest, they were definitely competitive, and responsive. Based on my past experience with ACE, I selected ACE for the current job. We agreed on a price for the work and scheduled a installation date. They arrived on time, installed the system, and walked us through how to operate the furnace, ac, and humidifier after installation. As far as cleanup, you couldn't tell that I had just had a new furnace and ac unit installed. I would definitely hire them again. A side observation. Others on Angie's List have given ACE a bad review because they could not provide emergency repairs during peak periods. I once called ACE to do an AC repair during the summer months (I did not have a maintenance agreement with them), and they indicated that it would be a couple of days before they could do the work, and suggested that I might want to contact someone else if I needed the work done sooner. I did contact someone else, and the work was done within a day. My point is that you will always be able to find someone in this area to respond to heating/AC emergency calls. However, if you want to make sure a particular company will respond to an emergency, you should have a maintenance agreement with that company. From my experience, heating/AC companies always take care of those customers that have maintenance agreements first, and then anyone else they can fit into their schedule.

Absolute pleasure dealing with this company. From the reception on the phone when you call to the technician who provides service, this company is the best. When I ask for extra help, they are very responsive and pleasant about the request. I have had several contractors in my home over the last 3 months and this company is tops. Thank you!

Excellent service!! The technician came out July 3rd to repair our air conditioner which ended up to be an involved job requiring over 6 hours of labor. He was methodical and perseverant about his work and explained things as he went along. He assured us several times that he did not want to leave us without air on a hot day. After finishing the repair, he left our home (about 8:00 p.m.) and still had another call to make! While he was here, he suggested we consider purchasing a new HVAC unit due to the age (20+ years) and number of repairs we’ve had on the old one. We knew this was coming and took his advice. Your staff was wonderful in working with our timing of installation of the new unit. We needed to install new flooring before having the new unit put in, necessitating taking the old unit out one day and putting the new in the next, so that we could install the flooring in-between time. It worked out great! Our installers were excellent! They were very professional in the installation and explained everything to us as we went along. Our new unit is working well and we are very happy! Thank you again for your flexibility and your very professional crew! We highly recommend ACE Air Conditioning!!

From the very first visit by Kevin Cain who provided a quotation through the final installation, everything went very well. Ace Air Conditioning met all their appointments, were very patient and courteous, and completed the installation as scheduled. I cannot recommend these folks more highly. Sure, the price was high, but the results were worth the expenditure.

They had serviced our last unit for a long time and they were good at it, so when we wanted to replace it, we wanted to be loyal to them and so we chose them. I think their pricing was very good.

This company was unable to respond to an emergency situation.

From the initial visit by Kevin, their estimator, ACE has been a thoroughly professional company. The estimate was precise and reasonable. When I had questions after he left they were promptly answered on a Sunday night by Tim. Steve and Marlon arrived the day of installation exactly in the time frame scheduled and were courteous, informative, and went about their work in a professional and efficient manner. It was a very rainy day with muddy ground. Steve and Marlon covered every floor and carpet surface with a heavy duty canvas to protect from mud. When the job was done Steve clearly explained how the whole system worked. I can't praise the whole experience enough. If you are looking for an HVAC installer then look no further.

When it became evident that the heat pumps had to be replaced, ACE had an estimator work up a proposal the same day. After my review and research on comparables, we concluded our agreement and installation took place a few days later. The installers were punctual, professional, and courteous. I cannot think of anything negative to say. The pricing was fair and the work highly competent. ACE went out of their way to accommodate my needs and schedule. After installation, office personnel were responsive to my needs for paperwork in order to file for energy rebates. I highly recommend the firm and will definitely use them again.

A/C unit is out. Called and spoke with receptionist who took my call back info. Technician never returned my call. If you need emergency work, I would not use this company. Can't speak to their quality of service as it never got that far.

They arrived on time and got the installation done quickly. I have used Ace for a number of years after having numerous issues with ARS with respect to quality of performance, tardiness and lack of caring about customer concerns and special needs.

ACE Air was delightful to work with in challenging circumstances. My Air Conditioner Unit had stopped cooling during the hot Arizona month of August the night before we were getting ready to leave town on a trip. Our return weekend was Labor Day weekend and I booked an appointment with them upon our return. They adjusted the service call when our plane was running late and still arrived in a timely manner.

Ace was great to work with from start to finish. Our salesman, Kevin Cain, was extremely helpful throughout the whole process. He was very responsive to questions by email and phone and Ace offered very competitive pricing. The install crew were hardworking and seemed to really know what they were doing. The office staff (Tim Hamilton) was very responsive and helpful as well. Ace was very accomodating to our schedules of when we were available to do the installation and any questions/issues I had they addressed 100%.

Ace was great to work with start to finish. We got estimates from several companies but Ace was the lowest price and the best Angie's rating. We had a couple questions during the estimate process and we were able to get answers promptly. Everything was done when and as promised. We were very pleased with the work done and found everyone involved to be punctual, professional and courteous. If only everything could go this smoothly!

We've used Ace Air Conditioning & Heating Service Inc for 25 years. Because we have a service contract, when we call them we go right to the top of the list for service. They are trustworthy, dependable, their price is reasonable, and they have good employees.

For the gas line installation, they came on a Monday and spent most of the day installing the line. The next day they returned after the city inspection and installed the gas range that had been delivered the day before (that installation was included in the cost of installing the gas line, a bonus that I appreciated when I saw what the appliance stores charged for that service). Then several weeks later they sent a follow up letter reminding us to schedule the final inspection.

Other than taking couple of days delay to get the parts the service was done professionally. The serviceman Neal was courteous and professional, he explained and demonstrated the root cause of the problem. Felt comfortable working with him.

Estimator came in and quickly took measurements. They e-mailed me an estimate early the next morning. I accepted their offer and they were able to come back later in the week to do the install. Two installers arrived and spent the entire day at my condo, installed the units, pulled the old equipment out. They were done by 4:00, and cleaned up and put everything back in its place before they left. I would recommend Ace for furnace installation based on this experience.
