Description of Work: Replaced kitchen faucet. Very professional and also helped me plan out a couple future upgrade projects.

Description of Work: Pipes making a thumping sound....diagnosed quickly and fixed with a new device.

Description of Work: The plumber from Paul Southwick came to my house to fix what was likely a shower drain pipe that was leaking into the kitchen below. However, when he arrived, after taking a cursory look behind the shower panel (I had already done that and ascertained that the problem must be in the drain pipe, which was not visible behind the panel), he said the job would require the removal of some of the plaster ceiling below. He indicated that I would be responsible for having that done and proceeded to write out a bill for $134. I objected strongly contending that it was obvious to me beforehand that some of the plaster ceiling below would have to be removed and that a plumber would normally be expected to do that on a progressive basis until he found the problem. I finally agreed to pay the bill, arguing that it was essentially for having nothing done and indicating I would complain to Angie's List. He actually left, but returned after a few minutes to say that the charge would not be put through. I did appreciate this change of heart although it was probably my reference to Angie's List that led to their decision not to charge me. (Note: Apparently since my experience the company management structure has changed and it is operating under as new name: Pipe Kings)

Description of Work: Very professional. Paul and his team did work on my own house as well as multiple clients of mine. Everyone thinks he is the best!

Description of Work: Reception in Sterling, Va, less than 5 miles away from Gt Falls, did not know where Gt Falls located & kept asking unrelated questions. Finally gave up. Felt this was answering service & not a receptionist or member or firm at 2 pm.

Description of Work: "Assessed leak from bathroom of indeterminate origin. Great plumber; confirmed leak was not from plumbing components, but likely tile/grout. But, charged at full plumbing rate, for full amount of time, for what amounted to an inspection. We did not dispute charges, but under the circumstances, felt very taken advantage of--required him to open 2 small drywall access cuts in ceiling, burn his flashlight batteries for 20 minutes and feel for moisture. Knowing we would be facing major repair from another vendor, thought he might have been a bit more ""gentle""--no such luck... |"

Description of Work: Oscar from Southwick knew what he was doing, explained everything I me, in fact was extremely friendly. He called to say he was on his way, got the job done quickly and charged a reasonable price. When I add that the woman who took my original call was very helpful and pleasant, it all adds up to a strong recommendation for Paul Southwick Plumbing

Description of Work: the plumbing company was VERY responsive. The had made a mistake the first time and immediately came back on a Saturday morning to fix it. The plumber seemed very knowledgeable; there was nothing he could not fix - including a water purifier that he changed under my sink - that other plumbers were not able to fix. I would call them anytime for anything re plumbing.

Description of Work: Snaked drain for washing machine for $142.00Repaired connections for tub fixtures and replaced fixtures. Put in drain stopper for bathtub as well as bathroom sink. Adjusted main water valve to eliminate potential for slow leak. This work was approximately $240.

Description of Work: Paul arrived promptly and was finished in an hour. I had a list of things the home inspector wanted fixed prior to our sale and he completed them quickly and efficiently.
