Levanair Heating & Air Conditioning

Our 7-year-old air conditioning unit is still in good shape but one day the outdoor fan unit stopped working. Indoor air was circulating but no AC. Temperatures got to 88 degrees quickly on a hot day. We went with levanair based on reading Angie List reviews. They were not available to come until the next day but got there on time. Problem was quickly diagnosed as a bad capacitor unity in the exterior fan. The repair was done quickly. Technician was very knowledgeable and gave us some very good advice about how to keep the unit clean and long lasting. He also took a quick look at our indoor unit and advised us it was in good order. He was very careful to explain the service we didn't need in addition to what we did need. I will ask them to service us again based on a very good experience. Much better than the other firms I have used in the past.

They are massive up-sellers. He did a very nice job and a comprehensive check, but then he told me I needed thousands of dollars of work. I knew we didn’t need it and the system was 27 years old and would be illogical to do that much work on it.

He was very profesional, came on time, called before arrival, identified a problem I need to have fix in the future, I felt he was engage in the work and if I need him again next year I hope he will offer the special.

It went well. The guy was punctual and I was actually running late and he was kind enough to call me and wait for me.

The service turned out fine. He did some small additional work and worked on two units for us.

Seemed fine, nanny was there at the time. Left a nice checklist of what they checked and results. Both are working well, so happy.

It went very well. He showed up on the agreed upon day and time with no hitches. This is not something you can assume a contractor will do; in our case, he replaced a contractor who had not done so. It was a rainy day so before coming into the house he put cloth covers over his shoes, to keep from tracking in dirt. I showed him where all the equipment and controls were and he went to work quietly and efficiently. At one point he told me I needed one $30 part and showed me the test equipment readings to support what he was saying. He answered all my questions clearly. He also told me things I didn't know such as when my HVAC unit was built and what it's estimated useful life is. Finally, he finished the job in a reasonable amount of time.

Jorge performed advanced installation of the humidifier (On-Demand mode). He was responsive, courteous in all conversations and explained the work he was doing. After installation was complete he explained how whole humidifier is functioning and how to operate the model he installed. In about a week I noticed a small leak at the water switch connection that was made during the installation and contacted Jorge - he was able to come the same day to address the issue. The problem was in defective water switch that damaged a gasket. Jorge replaced the problem part and I haven't had any problems since then.

Outstanding--Jorge Levano is a real expert, and a very pleasant man. His inspection/tuneup satisfied us that our 30 year old HVAC is still fully functional. His cleaning of the filter and A/C coils dramatically improved cooling performance--immediately noticeable. Thanks, Jorge!

I've found many of Angie's List's top-rated providers to have not been so top-rate. These guys, though, were excellent. Very professional--in attitude and appearance. The install was well-done.... a very clean looking installation. Sure, they tried the upsell (a more expensive humidifier) but that's to be expected.. and after a no-pressure request to see if I wanted to buy the more expensive unit, they didn't press the issue. I would definitely consider using them again.

Jorge did a great job. He arrived on time and explained everything he did in terms that I understood. He was very helpful and professional and I would definitely use he and his company again.

Jorge was very professional. When I questioned the price for the cleanout section he explained why it was important and said if I wasn't happy he would put the old part back. He explained everything to me about the air conditioner service in great detail

The tech called ahead, arrived on time and was very thorough and communicative during the entire inspection. He answered all my questions well, gave some useful instruction and advice while checking every component and had a knowledgeable and friendly demeanor. I accepted his offer to add coolant for the reported standard charge of approximately $80.

My A/C unit is 16 years old and this was the first time it was ever cleaned (inside and outside) during a service call. Every year I had it serviced no one ever mentioned the proper care and cleaning would increase the efficiency of my unit. When Jorge Levano (the owner) arrived he was polite, prompt and very experienced with the customer service regarding the maintance for increasing the life of an A/C unit. I felt like I attended a CEC class on the basic common sense approach to have an A/C system running well. The technician was very knowledgeable about our antique system and very professional. After checking everything out he said it was all working very well and that the only thing that he would highly recommend would be to have the condenser unit cleaned as the coils were almost completely blocked. Suspecting a scam I asked him to show me. He did not take offense to that at all and accompanied me to the unit. He then shone a light into the unit where it was plain to see that they probably had not been cleaned out in many years. Of course I authorized him to clean the unit and he was able to do it right then! Being as our inside unit was practically antique this technician could have take us to the cleaners by trying to frighten me into an urgency to have the whole thing replaced, but he was a many of integrity and chose to be truthful and up front with me. I am thankful for that. That is what will keep me going back to this vendor. Trust is a major issue for me.

I purchased the Air Conditioning Tune-Up and quickly found out that my compressor was broken. Levanair providing me with a quotation for a new unit, and stated that they could return in one week to install the unit. As promised, Levanair arrived on time, provided excellent service, explained the new system to me, and cleaned up after themselves when finished. Now I don't have to worry about experiencing any warm days in my home. Thank you Levanair for making this transaction painless and pleasant! I would highly recommend you to all my friends and family.

I bought a Big Deal for this service and was pleased with the ease in scheduling and having the work done. Our furnace is only 3 years old but I would recommend this company and use them if/when needed in the future.

The service was prompt and courteous. However, the coupon did not mention that the humidifier would have trouble connecting to a HVAC that had a communicating system.

I don't think I have anything negative I could say about these guys. They were exceptional. Jorge did a great job explaining the work and providing honest recommendations. The work and install was very clean and the systems works great. I highly recommend them.

We are very happy with the new humidifier! Our house is so much more comfortable. Jorge was terrific - explained different options to me and installed everything quickly and well. Have already recommended him to a friend.

They installation was done quickly and they answered all my questions. They also went over how to operate the system in the winter and summer.
