The job went very good.

Both the estimate and teh completion of the job were done exactly as scheduled. The salesman/company owner was very polite and helpful, outlining in advance what the job would require both in preparation and in execution. FOrtunately, we were able to vacate our home for the four days that they installers need to complete the job (we left town and had only telephone contact with the company while the job was underway). When we returned, the floors were completed as expected, and they looked great. The refinishing job (including sanding) created no visible mess in the ret of our house, and the removal of the old carpet was complete, with no mess for us to clean up. They also installed all new quarter-round trim in all ares where the new floor was installed and where the old floors were refrinsihed. The carpentry work was good, and the total package -- installation, refinishing, new trim, and clean up -- was very amazingly complete and very attractive. I recommend Unique Flooring very highly.

They were prompt and they came on time. They did the job quickly. They did not put hardwood underneath my dishwasher or my stove. It was just plywood. I was a little disappointed about that. I didn’t mention it to them. Also they didn’t stain the hardwood underneath the refrigerator or the stove. Those were my concerns. But honestly I haven’t spoken to the company about this. Everything was fine except that they didn’t put the hardwood floor underneath where I wanted them to put it. They did a nice job. The owner asked me to call him about any questions or concerns, but I haven’t called him.

We contacted a few companies to make the estimation. Sam from Unique Floor was the only who gave a quote straight away and that was nice. We had been waiting for the quotes from other companies so we did not sign the contact that day. Later on, we wanted to make some changes to the list of works and contacted Sam again. He did not answer our e-mails and did not pick up the phone even though we called a few times. At some point, we even though that he's not interested in this job anymore. Luckily, we got him on the phone and made the final agreement. The prices for the labor and materials were the best of what we had received. We had three installers come on the agreed date, and they were punctual. They even did something we didn't pay for -- they put the furniture pads and they helped us to bring baseboard from Home Depot (I don't have a big car and we agreed agreed that I was to provide the baseboard). The job took three days as we also requested to remove the old carpet and the old parquet. The old parquet sound solution was glued with some black tar, and because of that, our walls and the new floor were in black marks in many places. We didn't care much about the walls, because we planned to have them painted. As for the tar particles on the new floor, we had to crawl and scrape them off. Not a pleasant pastime. One wall was damaged by the installers, the hole was about 2 inches, however, it was completely covered by the baseboard, so nobody would see. They also bent the feet of our bed, but luckily they were not broken, and we fixed them ourselves; it took about half an hour. The biggest problem is that the floor still squeaks. They say it's because the subfloor is weak. We expected something better, so we were somewhat disappointed. While installing, they did not make any suggestions on how to improve this, and now it's too late anyway. Overall, we are happy with what we've got, especially considering the price. It could be done better though. However, I don't believe that for the price we paid we could get it better anywhere else. I would recommend them and would hire them again.

After considering several flooring options for the basement, I purchased Mannington iCore 2 from an online retailer. Of the many highly rated flooring installers from Angies List that I contacted, I considered three quotes that were in a similar price range. I ultimately decided to go with Unique Floor based on the positive reviews on Angies List as well as Sam's flexibility and responsiveness. I spoke to Sam on phone on a Monday. We met and signed a contract on Wednesday and he scheduled installation of the basement flooring that Friday. The installers showed up on time on Friday and finished most of the work. They completed the rest of the work the next working day. The crew clearly knew what was needed and cleaned up after work. Sam scheduled a porcelain tile installer for the landing area a couple of weeks after the basement flooring crew, since I was not sure of the material to be used for the landing area. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with Unique Floor. Their pricing was competitive, their crew, though subcontracted, was professional and courteous and the final product shows good workmanship. Sam was prompt, flexible and easy to reach whether by phone, email or text messages. Based on my overall positive experience, I would certainly recommend Sam and Unique Floor.

The original estimate said it would take 3 days for the 580 square feet of flooring to be replaced in our living room, dining room, hallway and closets. They showed up on time the date the work was to start and got the job completely done in 2 days ahead of schedule. The new floors are beautiful and they cleaned up most of the dust after finishing the work. This company is very reputable and does awesome work. I've very pleased with the services performed by Unique Floor.

They did an excellent job. They put all of our furniture back where it was supposed to be. They cleaned up after themselves.

Sam was excellent in explaining the process and very helpful in finding the right colors. His price was by far the lowest. His installation team was great,the workmanship looks excellent. They moved alot of major appliances, did a great job in tile removal and concrete repair and were done within a day. The floors look fantastic and I would highly recommend this company in the future. Sam was very flexible and easy to work with.

I found Unique Floor on Angie's List and was very interested in the special they were running and all of the reviews that I read. I had already received some estimates for putting in hardwood floors in our house and was trying to get one more estimate before making a final decision. I was so impressed with Sam's punctuality and professionalism. He came on time. He was courteous, and his price was the best that I had received. We set a date for installation the same day he came to the house. On the actual day of installation the men arrived on time and worked quickly and efficiently. They took a short break for lunch and then went right back to work. It was a two-day project, but before leaving that night they cleaned up everything and made sure as much of the dust as possible was gone. They were polite and professional. The next day they were once again on time and before they left at the end of the day, everything was cleaned up AND they put little pads, which they had brought, on the bottom of our furniture so it would not scratch the new floor! We were very impressed. We had scheduled the carpet on the stairs for the following week and once again were pleased with their punctuality and courteous and professional behavior. I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

We took advantage of Angie's Big Deal for Unique Floor LLC. The deal along with the positive report was a good offer. We were not disappointed. Sam came in on time, measured the space, and showed me the samples. He was able to provide a quote to replace tile in the kitchen/living room area and carpet in the living room with Bruce hardwood right away.Sam sent us the contract that afternoon and we made a decision to schedule the work for Aug. 1. The job was completed in one day! The workers showed up on time and were very cordial. We had prepped the areas as instructed. All we had to move was small items; they moved the heavy furniture which made it easier on us. The floor looks great. We are very happy with the results.

Took out my stair railings and even disposed of them for me...They were very thorough.

Unique Flooring offered a good product at a fair price. Sam was a little tough to deal with at times. For example, he over estimated the amount of material that was needed and when I questioned him on it, he seemed agitated that I would question his estimate, but he did reduce the amount even though it wasn't as much as I figured. At the end of the job, he still had three full boxes left over, which he took of the bill. My only other complaint, and I told Sam about it, was that his floor installers beat up my freshly painted walls more that they should have. I'm aware that when you do this works, it will require touch up to the paint, but when they beat up the ceiling, that is carelessness.

They were overpriced. They were responsive, though. They came out the same day. The estimate was free. I will not consider them for a future quote.

Overall, they did a pretty good floor. The crew was very helpful and easy to work with. Edgar was a very good and hardworking foreman.

The overall experience turned out great. They estimate was very professional. I really liked the pictures that were on the website. Overall, I was very satisfied with the experience and would use the company again.

They were wonderful. They showed up on time and even put the pads on and moved the 600 pound gun safe. They worked quickly and effeciently and were out of the house by lunchtime after installing almost 400 sq feet of beautiful hardwood flooring.

Sam Eskandari is very professional, punctual and personable. Edgar Blanca and his team did a great job. They were all very courteous and respectful and the floors look great! The project was started and completed as promised and on schedule.

Everything went well. Sam arrived last week with some Bruce floor samples and took some measurements. He told me when he would be coming, arrived during that window of time, and called to follow up when he said he would. (These are things I appreciate.) The installers were scheduled to arrive sometime today between 7:30 and 9:30. They arrived at 8:30 am and worked diligently until 4:30 pm. The installers were really polite and pleasant to work with. They removed the nasty carpeting that came with the house and did a great job at cleaning up after themselves. They did a flawless job on the floors, which look beautiful and are definitely an improvement to this room. Before leaving, they even helped me out by putting my banister back in place - we removed it months ago to paint it, but couldn't get the screws back in near the top end. One end of the banister was lying on the top stair, which is dangerous for visitors who might not realize the banister isn't secure. This small thing, putting in three screws, was something I really appreciated. The guys left at 4:30 and Sam called me ten minutes later to make sure I was 100% satisfied with the work. If I ever need flooring again, I'll definitely call this company. I really appreciate businesses that genuinely care about customer satisfaction and provide good service.

The estimate was easy and fast, and installation occurred three days later. The installation team arrived a bit early and finished before the estimated time! The floors are beautifully and meticulously done, and look terrific. Everyone from Sam to the three installers was polite and well-informed: a very positive experience for me.

Fantastic work for an excellent price! I shopped Home Depot first -- their comparable hardwood and installation estimate was at least 50% more expensive. Outstanding professionalism in the initial contact and estimate visit, very accommodating for scheduling, and superb in the actual hardwood floor installation. I am extremely pleased and satisfied with all of their work, and especially the way the expert installers were able to solve the problem of my one stair, and a patch area next to it - they made it all look so beautiful! They moved all of the furniture out and then back again, no problem. And -- at the very end, they even put protectors under all of the furniture legs so that my new hardwood flooring wouldn't get scratched! A huge plus is that I was very comfortable with the professionalism of the crew . . as a woman home alone to supervise jobs, I've occasionally experienced workers who come into my home who seem creepy or even try to flirt with me . . yuck! But not with the Unique Floor workers! They simply worked very fast and did an outstanding job. If you want to be happy, hire them :)

I'm very pleased with the quality of the work and the materials used. Sam's installation men arrived on time as schedule and they were ready to go and they kept going with only a few short breaks until the job was finished--it took the two men about 8 hours to do the job-- includes set up time and take down time. These guys know their business---they immediately took up the old carpet and padding, rolled it up and put it in their truck to take away when the job was finished. Then they started to install the wood flooring and trim. They respected my property and took care to ensure furniture was protected from dust. The two rooms look so much better now! Unique Floor will get my business again.

The work was done early and it was done professionally and completely. When I had questions about how to handle certain aspects of the job, Sam responded immediately and gave good recommendations.

They were able to schedule the work soon after the salesman gave the estimate. Showed up on time (actually, 30 minutes early), were polite, professional, and finished when they said they would (4 hours). I have to admit I'm not a hardwood flooring expert but it looks great to me and all the edges are flush. I got another estimate -- by phone only -- and it was $1800 which was almost twice what I paid to Unique Floors.

It went very well. It started when our friend referred Unique Floor to us, we called them they sent someone to our house right away for an estimate, he looked at our flooring and stated that they can start as soon as we like and finish within 4 days. They started the job on time and finished on time. We had no issues with them at all. They are an excellent company and we highly recommend them.

My son bought a Condo that was in need of complete renovation. We decided to replace the old dirty carpet with laminate flooring. I obtained estimates from 4 different businesses off of Angie's List as well as going to Lumbar Liquidators in consideration of purchasing the materials directly and having an independent contractor lay the flooring. By chance, I noticed that "Groupon" was offering a special on flooring by Unique Flooring. I had the owner Sam come by to give an estimate. I was extremely impressed with his professional manner, knowledge of flooring products and his friendly and non-pushy approach to helping me determine the best type of flooring for the Condo. With the advise he provided, I ended up getting a MUCH better grade of Shaw laminate flooring than I had seen from other companies.....and at an excellent price. Best of all, Sam was extremely accommodating by agreeing to come to the condo and remove all the old, dirty carpet before the painting started. This was extremely important to me so that the painters could paint the complete baseboards without the carpet being in the way. Sam sent his crew over on a Sunday morning the day before the painting started. His crew was very nice and professional and quickly removed and loaded in their trucks to take to a disposal location. Later into the painting portion of the Condo renovation, we decided to put a new tile floor in the kitchen. Sam provided an excellent installation price and had no problem with me purchasing a tile that was on sale at Lowe's. Following the painting, Sam and his crew returned to the Condo to do the flooring and tiling. His installers worked at the Condo for 2 1/2 days installing kitchen tiles, and laminate wood in 5 rooms. The workers were very polite and VERY neat and they did an EXCELLENT job. We are thrilled with the result. I would highly recommend this company and feel they provide a unique combination of quality workmanship, excellent pricing and very pleasant group to do business with.
